Monique Iniguez: On What You Should Know About Human Trafficking

On today’s episode, I sit down with Covenant House’s Human Trafficking Case Manager, Monique Iniguez.

Monique Iniguez was born and raised in California, In 2010 she began to learn about the issue of human trafficking and started attending task force meetings to become more educated on the issue. In 2012 Monique moved to Los Angeles to work with survivors of human trafficking and by the end of 2016 Monique became the program director of a human trafficking residential program. Over the course of the last 8 years Monique has not only worked in a residential setting with survivors but has also been a part of a street outreach team. She has participated in numerous special operations with the FBI, law enforcement, and Homeland Security. In September of 2018 Moniquetransitioned to the Covenant House and is now their Human Trafficking Case Manager.
