This last episode will focus on how stereotypical images of journalists have an enormous influence on how the public perceives and judges the news media in a negative light.

We will explore how researching and reporting on atrocities impacts news reporters’ lives beyond their office walls. Are journalists able to leave what they reported on at work and not have it impede their home life?

This episode will examine what coping mechanisms news journalists utilize to maintain their professionalism and their self-control. Also, this episode will reveal if there are any existing trauma training protocols to better assist news journalists in times of crisis and distress.

We’ll explore what it means to maintain a sense of professionalism in the common workplace environment to gain a greater understanding of how news reporters are constrained by societal standards. 

In this episode, we will reveal how news reporters and journalists are impacted by the traumatic incidents they witness and endure in regards to their overall mental health.
