“The Emotional Body will take the reader on a journey into themselves to experience the ways emotions guide physical movement, expression and self understanding. The book is a combination of photography, poetry, essays on somatic healing, and personal accounts from the participants about their experience of the embodied movement sessions. The book is only available in hardcover as a plea to spend less time absorbing information from a screen. I believe we as humans are able to be more connected to our senses—and therefore more connected to our selves and each other— when reading a book where we can feel the texture of the pages on our skin, and feel the movement of the turning of the pages in our bodies. “ - Teagan Rose
