On the last segment, I talk about the flip side of a dandy friendship- loosing friends. Safe to say it feels worse than a breakup...

0903: Does music taste define relationships?

@larissawm has something interesting to say about how much taste defines the intensity of a friendship/relationship.

0902: Navigating Friend Groups

I am joined by @djibawone who boast a whopping 5+ friend groups that she can say she’s a part of. We talk about how we keep up with each of them.

0901: Procrastinating and Crying About It

0901: Procrastinating and Crying About It

This is the reality of so many people. Acknowledging that procrastinating isn’t caused by laziness but in fact the fear of anxiety is the first step to beating it. But hear me out and what I had to say about it.

Episode 9: Procrastination + Friends and Benefits

Episode 9: Procrastination + Friends and Benefits

On this episode, I hit home for a lot of us by speaking on procrastination and it’s repercussions. Unfortunately, I am yet to discover how to beat it. Then I am joined by @djibawone and @larissawm to discuss our friendships and our dynamics. Finally I close on a sad note by sliding us all back to reality. The songs will be on the Spotify playlist but if you are listening from any other platform, please make sure to check them out manually. Alien Voices Plus now on Spotify.

I hope she hears this, but I also wish she never does... I don’t even know anymore.

The change of the structure of my podcast is meant to alter the experience of listeners with podcasts; I hope you find it refreshing. Episode 7: Write your thoughts.

Episode 7: Write your thoughts.

I accidentally found a Wattpad account that I had completely forgotten about. But what I found inside, I definitely had to share. I talk a bit about mental health and coping mechanisms, so you won’t regret if you share this episode with friends.

Episode 6: Gatekeeping, but so what?

Back with another one, less on the political side and more on the controversial, I tap into my inner music enthusiast to explain my tendencies. I also suggest you listen to some artists that I personally stan and would vouch for. Don’t forget to share this episode with friends, and most of all, follow my Instagram at @alienvoicespodcast. Episode 5: Bye-Den and Pedos

Episode 5: Bye-Den and Pedos

A lot to unpack but not a lot of time to... I speak on the recent results from the American elections. It’s a bummer how the world, blinded by the victory OVER Trump, has started to over-sympathize with the same two “icons” who will be taking over office. I won’t apologize for being on the hating side. I also speak on a sensitive topic. TRIGGER WARNING: Pedophilia. Chile... anyway... so... enjoy!

Episode 4: Political at birth

This episode is a take on raw feelings that got triggered over the past weekend. I speak on why women like myself are as political as we are, and who is really there to protect us. If you are interested, there is an invitation on the last minutes so hear it out and let me know. Something to indulge, not enjoy.

Episode 3: Designated punching bag: What luck made me the oldest daughter

On this episode, I convinced my college friend group to join in on my shenanigans. Fun fact: most of my friends are first daughters! We touched on a topic we would normally avoid: what luck gave us all that title. Don’t forget to follow my Instagram @alienvoicespodcast. Enjoy!

Episode 2: Everyone has their own pace; I’m unapologetically slow.

Episode 2: Everyone has their own pace; I’m unapologetically slow.

I got so excited from the feedback I was getting on the first episode that I went ahead and recorded the second episode on the same topic. I invited a childhood friend (@aida.ahmed) who also resonates with the topic to discuss the sources and possible solutions to the problem at hand. We speak on marriage as young adults and what the pressures can and might do to us and the decisions we make. We laughed to some inside jokes too. Enjoy!
