All Knight-er: Geneseo Athletics Podcast

Director of Athletic Communications Brett Ford is joined for the first time by Assistant Director of Athletic Communications Riley Damerell to talk all things Geneseo Athletics. The Knights are off to a fast start across the board this fall as Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men' and Women's Soccer, Women's Tennis, Women's Golf, Field Hockey and Women's Volleyball are all playing well to begin their seasons. Women's Volleyball junior libero Emily Haber jumps aboard to discuss the Knights' early season, including the squad's 3-2 victory over Brockport in the SUNYAC opener. 

Geneseo Athletics returns beginning in late March, and with it comes All Knight-er, the Geneseo Athletics podcast. Join co-hosts Trevor Clifton and Director of Athletic Communications Brett Ford as they discuss the Knights' return to action plans for the spring. Women's lacrosse senior Tessa Doody (7:05) and men's lacrosse senior Tim Fallo (21:30) each drop by for an interview to talk about the abrupt halt to last season and the 2021 campaign. Later on, Brett and Trevor give out Players to Watch for each of the Knights' spring athletic programs.

The All Knight-er Podcast is back for the first time in the Fall '20 semester! Brett, Trevor and Tim recap Geneseo's nominees for the Spring Sport SUNYAC All-Decade teams. Tim revealed the men's lacrosse team nominees (3:00), and Brett shares the women's lacrosse nominees (7:45). Trevor took care of the men's track & field nominations (11:00), and Brett follows up with the women's track & field nominations (13:45). Tim LaDuca '21 and Brett Ford are joined by Trevor Clifton '21 for a very fun episode. They put together a snake draft featuring Geneseo athletes from the 2019-2020 school year (6:06-54:45). Every athletic team was represented twice.  After the draft, they summarized the Geneseo Athletics Department Award winners announced on April 24th (54:46-57:50). Don't sleep on Geneseo Athletics!

Brett Ford and Tim LaDuca return to their (home) studios to bring a new episode to a socially distancing and "sports-less"world. After the intro (0:00-2:38), Brett and Tim recap all the postseason awards the men's and women's Track & Field team won (3:08), the men's ice hockey team won (4:40), the men's and women's basketball teams' awards (7:07), and all the Swimming and Diving awards (9:30). Then, they look at what awards could be handed out for the spring season (13:16). After that, Geneseo alumni and former Geneseo tennis player  Nina Lurie '19 joins the show to discuss her upcoming role  in New York City battling COVID-19 (17:00). To wrap up the show, Brett and Tim look at some possible landing spots for graduating Geneseo Ice Knight seniors (30:35). Then they discuss the recent success of the women's lacrosse team with some previews of what is to come for their trip to Florida (6:08) and a recap and preview for the men's lacrosse team (9:50). Senior infielder Abbey Whitney from the softball team joins the show for an interview discussing the team's appearance in the Super Regionals last season and they also talk about the upcoming season's expectations (15:15). Tim and Brett then detail a third-consecutive SUNYAC Championship for the Ice Knights and then preview their upcoming NCAA quarterfinal game (26:00).
