The Allen Steele Show

By Allen Steele

I am the host Allen Steele of this show. On this show I knew it was important and powerful to address issues that were not being addressed, whether it was homelessness, addiction, mental health, and suicidal thoughts. I have veteran brothers that when they got home from war they were lost, became addicts, and suicidal because they don't have the resources they lost the mission. A lot of our veterans become homeless. this is why I am so passionate about what I do, and why I think this show is so important to help all the veterans I can. NAVY PILOT CHRIS MARLAR

NAVY PILOT CHRIS MARLAR

I was born in 1970 in a small city called Booneville.  At age 2, my mom and dad moved to San Diego as my father joined the navy and became a corpsman.  They divorced in 74 and my mom met the man who would torture me for the next 12 years.  I attended Cal Poly Pomona, had a NROTC scholarship, crosstowning at UCLA.   I was commissioned in 1993 and went to flight school.  I ended up flying the C-2A Greyhound (plane I crashed in), was a T-34C instructor, an FRS instructor and finished my career flying the Navy's intermediate and advanced jet trainer, the T-45C Goshawk. After the Navy, I was hired by L3 as an ISR pilot in Afghanistan.  Spent a total of 18 months in theater butt quit, it just got too much for me.  I flew King Air's for Wheels up and was later hired at NetJets (great company and job) in my opinion.  I was diagnosed with PTSD (extreme anxiety) in September of 2019 and lost my FAA medical for good.  I took two years off and then was hired by Flight Safety International and became a simulator instructor pilot.  That leads us up to today.
