Sandy wears many hats including Author, Speaker, and Abolitionist with her current position at Deliverfund as Director of Strategic Impact. DeliverFund is a non-profit, private intelligence firm that engages in counter-human trafficking through target-centric methodologies. Their team of analysts come from very impressive backgrounds and use their specialized experience to train, equip, and advise local law enforcement in cases of human trafficking. The ultimate goal is to rescue victims from this horrific crime and hunt, arrest, and prosecute their traffickers. Sandy has been serving on coalitions since 2009 and is even featured as a subject matter expert in the textbook The Economics of Human Rights. Lets not forget, Sandy has published a trilogy of books about her own personal experiences with child abuse, human trafficking, and the industry of commercial sexual exploitation - Becoming, Navi, Hello Navi, and Goodbye Navi. Aside from his extensive and impressive resume (Allison is still envious), Brad has a story that goes deep and proves the fact we all are just HUMAN. Though Brad is a large man in stature he sure has proven to us he truly has a heart of gold and has turned his darkest moments into a new career path teaching all officers in the state of New Jersey resiliency. We had another brave guest decide to join us on the show! You guys are going to LOVE Jon! He worked as a fire/medic for approximately 15 years, with 5 of those years he also worked as a flight paramedic (us coppers thought that was pretty cool). Jon switched career paths and currently is the Executive Director of the non-profit organization Cathy's House located in Medina, OH. Jon is also a father and husband, but he states more importantly he is in long term recovery for 10.5 years which makes all these other things possible! We really loved listening to his story, his experience, and his thoughts on first responders and their mental health.
