All Things Good
By Johnna Hold & Laura Walton
We're just two Southern girls with a lot to say learning to find ALL THINGS GOOD in each day. Johnna is an interior designer living the big city life in Austin, and Laura is a preacher's wife who teaches marketing and sales at Mississippi State and lives on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Pull up a chair or pop in those earphones and get ready to laugh as we cover it all. Parenting, marriage, church and religion, design, teaching, direct sales -- and things we haven't even thought of yet. But we'll end it with ALL THINGS GOOD that we're finding in our lives each week!

It’s great to be back in your feed and the girls are wasting no time jumping into the super light and fluffy topic of FEAR. Listen as they talk through what they’ve found in their research, experienced personally and heard from YOU about how fear shows up in our lives — and how to fight back against it! A few links and resources from their conversation… Circle Maker by Mark Batterson Praying Life by Paul Miller Some of their favorite scriptures for fighting fear… Isaiah 41:10 (ESV) Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 1 John 4:18-19 (ESV) There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us. Episode 25: Put Me In, Coach (Part II)
The response to last week's episode has been great, so we decided to bring in the experts on the topic...our kids. Listen as William and Anna talk to Johnna about being student athletes, with a guest appearance from Will. Laura chose to interview her boys separately because she's still recovering from being thrown under the bus during the marriage episode (And listen to find out if Riley's still playing football for his new school!). So much goodness from these kids, y'all. They give some constructive criticism on parental sideline/court side behavior as well as some insight into what they need from parents when they're competing -- and after. Be sure to leave a review on Apple iTunes and tell a friend about All Things Good!

Episode 23: Dream a Little Dream
In last week's episode, Johnna shared she doesn't dream anymore and of course, the girls turned that off-handed statement into an hour-long conversation. Why is it so hard for us -- as women, as moms -- to have our own dreams? We'd love for you to jump in with your comments and thoughts over on social media after the girls talk through some of the things they struggle with in their lives. They also have some fun things to share this week. Johnna is loving her new stadium-friendly clear bag and the podcast The Clearing, another true crime listen. Episode 22: Kindness Wins the Day!
Whoa, Nelly! This one was hard. Between the technology blips and the topic, Johnna and Laura had their hands full with this episode. Have you ever disagreed with a friend or family member? IT'S HARD...especially when that disagreement becomes public on the pages of your social media. Listen in as the girls chat about how to navigate disagreement in friendship and they share some sage wisdom from a sweet friend who recently experienced a very public and less-than-pleasant exchange on social media with friends and family over some divisive political issues. Stacy's "Rules of Engagement" are golden -- and we should all be practicing them! Johnna also shares her latest podcast obsession: Confronting: OJ Simpson with Kim Goldman and reflects on how her summer "off" has been a much-needed break from the hustle. Laura shares her new favorite jeans from Amazon: Resfeber Distressed Boyfriend Jeans (light blue wash!) and how the timeline of her finally picking up Bob Goff's Everybody Always is no coincidence in this season of transition and making new friends. Love this episode? Please share it with a friend! We need you to tell others about ATG. Dn't forget to leave those reviews and ratings over at Apple iTunes, too! Until next week...
