Unapologetically Stick to Your Boundaries
Yet another situation arose that may have been sent to test my fortitude but here’s what I want you to know: 1. Know yourself and identify your triggers, 2. Give yourself permission to reject or “pass” on whatever would hold you back, 3. Even if others don’t understand or approve of your decision, it is your responsibility to protect yourself and your family, and, 4. Low-Spend 2020-ish Progress and Update on my Blog
Happy New Year! Here's my focus for this year: almost a year where I spend as little as possible on non-necessity items and redirect that saved money to a rather ambitious family goal. But hey, goals are supposed to make you squirm a little and get your heart pumping, right? Wait til you hear how much we saved this, our first week, which has gone far from perfect. I was pretty impressed myself as we're not huge spenders compared to your average U.S. family.

What changes have been taking place in this lotus in the desert! It can be unsettling and yet freeing all at once. Taking time to focus inward and search our hearts for our values is so important. I’m finding that to me, it’s a form of self care. After the passing of a beloved pet, I realized that there were beliefs I practiced that I needed to reevaluate and it lead me to ponder others as well. Expressing thanks is also important in keeping our priorities straight and helps us focus on what matters so THANK YOU for coming along my journey with me!
