God had been their Leader during their Journey in the wilderness. There is no doubt that God has been good to them but they in turn has rejected his Kindness and Love. Verse 5 of Chp 8: And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. Today in our times and society we have forsaken the presence of God and removed God from our presence. We in many ways have asked to be like other nations. Nations who would rather serve Idol Gods than the True and Living God. We took Prayer out of our School Systems and out of our Governmental Establishments. We watch our children being destroyed in their class and on the streets. The one place where they should feel safe there is no safety. We are blinded by the evil that has permeated our world. Satan appears to have taken control, Say it's not so! Verse 7 & 8 of Chp 8: And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. 8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee. This decision proved to be the down fall of a mighty nation. They found themselves persecuted and tormented by other nations. They fell away from worshiping God and worshiped Satan. They bowed down to Idols and dove deep into sin. Their rejection of God proved to be the worse decision they ever made. Is there any wonder why America is being persecuted today. Our children are being killed and killing each other. We allow our children to watch Video Games that train them in our homes to commit acts of violence and hatred. We sit away from our children while this Evil Permeates their minds with Blood, Guts and Violence. Shooting and Stabbing, using Cars to Run people down in the streets. PROVERBS 22:13 The slothful man saith, There is a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets. We sit and say nothing while the enemy Kills, Steals and Destroys our future. Who is our Future, our Children is our future. We buy the and bring the tools of Satan into our homes. Murder and Rape Videos, Shooting and Killing and Stabbing Videos. We see but we are to Lazy to do anything about. PROVERBS 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. This is Biblical and admonishes us to Teach our Children about God. Instead we are Training Them to commit Evil by giving them the murderous videos. "THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME" Listen To Apostle Paul Speak About Idol Worship

The Lord our God gave this command without mixing words, to the point and firm as he could.

3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4] Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

This command was given to The Children of ISRAEL with good reason, God had delivered them from bondage/slavery incurred on them for 400 years. They suffered at the hands of the Egyptians for no fault of their own accept that they were The Children of The Promise and that promise began to manifest right there in Egypt. This brought fear into the lives of the Egyptians. For this reason God gave this command and rightfully so he should be honored in this command.

“I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.”

God continues to show his love to all mankind, His love for us is unmeasurable and there is evidence in all the works of his Mighty Hands. Here in is why Idol Worship makes no since. Why would man worship and pray to something they have created. Something that can't see, Talk, or Hear your cries. A mouth but can not talk or utter a sound. Why would we give the Credit to Idols for the Life God gave to us. This is wickedness in the eyes of God.

ACTS 17:24-27 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things; and hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.

ACTS Chapter 19:23-41 ends our Study on Idol Worship, HIGHER POWERS-WORSHIP OF THE ENERGY & THE UNIVERSE!

Remember, All Glory and Honor is belongs to ELOHIM JEHOVAH THE LORD our GOD!

"THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME"
This Command by God was firm and to the point.
EXODUS 20:3-4
3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4] Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

God did not mix his words and gave perfect reason why the Children of Israel should honor this commandment. EXODUS 20:2 “I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” So you see if not for God, the Children of ISRAEL would have lived up to this day as slaves in Eygpt. This you can beleive because if not for God, we too would remain slaves to sin. In fact, the only reason anyone is a slave to sin today is because of there own choice. The Truth who is Jesus gave his Life by way of God that we might be free.....Its a Choice!
JOHN 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

ACTS 19:23-41
Apostle Paul is confronted and accused of turning many people in EPHESUS away from Idol Worship to the Worship of The True and Living God. This brings to mind
MALACHI 2:4-6 THE "TRIBE OF LEVI" [PHINEHAS] This conversion was causing monitary decrease in the pockets of those who sold Idols as a way of life to feed their families. There was one man in particular Demetrius who became very upset and caused an uproar and a riot gathering and forced two disciples into a theater to Judge these men. Alexander The Town Clerk quickly put an end to all the rioting by bring the people to remembrance of the law and unlawful gatherings. He also stated that these men [The Disciples] had done nothing wrong or said nothing against their goddess Diana The Idol that they served. ACTS 19:37-41 The assembly was quickly ended and the disciples let go.

The objective here is that the Kingdom of God must be preached throughout the world and made manifest in the hearts of mankind. Regardless of whether they receive or not receive, they have heard and have been given the opportunity to make a choice between Life or Death.

God Is, The Great I AM! There is no one who can come close to comparrison. God being the Creator of all things has the power to know all things. This is why we say when we pray -Our Father who art In Heaven, Hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done As In Heaven So In Earth. The last part of this prayer that was prescribed by Jesus Christ The Son, This was added in as a Valid acknowledgment of God's DEITY "Thine Is The Kingdom, The Power and The Glory forever and ever amen"

APOSTLE PAUL while over in EPHESUS encountered some men who were astonished by the Spirit of God that was on Paul's Life and was evident through the Miracles that God performed through Paul. The Sick Healed and Demonic Demons were Casted Out of People. There were those men thinking that through there evil works they could do the same things Apostle Paul had done. That was a big mistake because Satan spoke to those men and said these words: ACTS 19: 15] And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? 16] And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

This one Incident proves that God's power is distributed to his anointed and to those who know him. Satan is very much aware those whom are God's anointed servants. As well he should! One thing to take from this particular incident is that if God does not know you than you best believe Satan does not know you either in the capacity of the Subject. Satan may know you as his servant but not the servant of God and he will kill you for going against him.

The Truth stands and is fact, that God is Power and The only Power that exist. All else is a forgery. It has no concrete effect or legitimate being. Satan has power that's why he is called the prince of the world/darkness, not King but prince. God has all Authority and he gave that same Authority to his
Son Jesus Christ , hear Jesus Speak in MATTHEW 28:18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Apostle Paul spoke these words in the book of PHILIPPIANS:
PHILIPPIANS 2:9-11 9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Listen to APOSTLE PAUL as he Teaches the Children of EPHESUS leading them away from witchcraft and all manner of Idolatry. Apostle Paul made a difference in EPHESUS. This is where the book of EPHESIAN derives.

Today we our living as though we do not need God in our lives. In some cases it appears as though we have all together turned away. I liken today's society to PSALM 14

1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. 2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. 3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord. 5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous. 6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge. 7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad. JOHN CHP1

Some of us if not all have resigned the right to acknowledge God as supreme deity, alive and well. The creator of all at that is. Make no mistake, there is no one, nothing that can exist without God's hands involved.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

There's no doubt in my mind, I need God. I refuse to live without him in my Life. What about you? have you come to the same conclusion. Everything that life has to offer me I place in God's hands. God is my Life, God and only God the only God! King David said it like this:

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. 4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

The fact is we all need him whether we choose to admit it there really is no denying the truth. Jesus said "And ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you Free" JOHN 8:32 He also said "I am The Way, The Truth and The Life" JOHN 14:6

SUN WORSHIP
Although sun worship has been used frequently as a term for “pagan” religion, it is, in fact, relatively rare. Though almost every culture uses solar motifs, only a relatively few cultures (Egyptian, Indo-European, and Meso-American) developed solar religions. All of these groups had in common a well-developed urban civilization with a strong ideology of sacred kingship. In all of them the imagery of the sun as the ruler of both the upper and the lower worlds that he majestically visits on his daily round is prominent.

These Scriptures Written so long ago proves the God loves mankind and has significantly established his creation from the beginning. God continued to prove his Love for mankind by sending his Son Jesus after sin introduced itself by way of disobedience and covetousness in the Garden of Eden.

This gift of Life through Jesus Christ is made available to all who will freely receive. This life of submitting to Christ is a choice and not forced on anyone. You must want it, feel you need it and be drawn away by the words of God that you hear. The Penalty for sin is death, The Gift for Righteousness is Eternal Life In Christ Jesus.

JOHN 5:24-29
24] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. 25] Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 26] For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 27] And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28] Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29] And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

These words spoken by Jesus should encourage you to accept the free gift of life that Jesus has provided. It is only offered up until the day you depart from this earth. There is no second chance, you must act now while you have breath in you!

These scriptures Written by Paul has inspired us to live in a way that conforms to the Commitment Christ made. Christ left his home in glory, his kingdom in heaven to come down and live as a man. Took off his glory and covered himself in shame. Jesus off who he was to become what we are to free us from who we had become. Sinners we are now saved by grace all because Jesus sacrificed his Life taking sin and shame to the grave. Jesus defeated the effect sin had by way of death giving us Life Eternal. Jesus rose from the grave victorious in three days and ascended back home to his Father In Heaven. By this sacrifice Christ made it possible for those who would believe, turn from their wicked ways and follow him would live in heaven with him and be reconciled back to God. The Created back to the Creator.

Apostle Paul gets deep in Chapter 3 of PHILIPPIANS as he teaches and confides in us his reasoning for following Jesus. Paul's Encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus gave him an experiential moment that would last a lifetime. Now Apostle Paul would give up everything for Christ. Looking forward forgetting what he left behind to Win Christ. Apostle Paul proclaimed his desire to know Jesus in the fellowship of his Suffering,
To know Jesus for the Power of his Resurrection. PHILIPPIANS CHAPTER THREE Paul opens up to the reader his reasoning for working as hard as he does and why we should strive to do the same. Apostle Paul teaches us New Man Character, Faithfulness and Love... Comfort and Peace even from prison Paul's Joy was the work of the Lord. Jesus said Pick up Your Cross and Follow Me. The way we represent God down here on earth is a very important task. See we are ambassadors seeking to usher in the unbelievers.

Thank God for Jesus our Lord and Savior! Way and Life of a Child of God!
We Live and We Learn as we grow and Mature in the presence of our God.
The Bible as it is written, helps us to navigate through this world with confidence. Our trust in God defines us as children of God, the same way God had faith in Job. [Job Chp 1:8] In these Scriptures God Testified of Job's Character. Allowing every reader to know God does pay close attention to the lives we live and will speak for us defending us against the adversary.

Apostle Paul, The Servant of God was and still is very Instrumental, Inspirational and Encouraging while assisting God in the building of his Kingdom. Paul's Teachings as given to him by God has strengthened the character of many Christians. Giving us courage and faith in Jesus Christ by the Doctrine he has been entrusted to preach and teach.

The Book Of Philippians is one of the books that Jesus spoke through Paul. Chapter Two of Philippians guides us in a right way of living and being seen as a child of God. Paul teaches how to care for each other by explaining Jesus time and work while down here on earth. The mind set of Christ which should be our desire.
"LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU WHICH WAS ALSO IN CHRIST JESUS"

Obedient unto death, Christ showed us not only how to live for God but how long we should strive to enter into the gates of Heaven. In Philippians Chp 2 we learn how faithfulness to God works and overcomes regardless of our circumstances. Paul being a prisoner, continued to show a strong presence in the lives of those whom he had led to Christ. Paul Encouraged us to work out our Salvation with fear and trembling [Cautiously] warns us not to compromise our faith and relationship with God.

To secure the work that he had performed for Christ, Paul would send men likeminded, those whom would continue the work of Christ as it is written. Men that would be careful to teach for the glory of God and not for self preservation. These men would preach the gospel of Jesus Christ even to their own hurt. Paul taught us Unity, Fellowship and One Mind On Accord.

Every day we live and is given by God and only God holds for us something we know not. We have not the ability to say what will be and what will not be. We can only live and hope. ECCLESIASTES 8:6-8
6] Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him. 7] For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be? 8] There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

It's time to take serious the purpose of God sending his Son. We have no more time left to figure it out, only to live and to live according to What's Right and Not What's Wrong. We all must meet Jesus at the end of our Journey. The question is what is your end. The decision is yours.

ECCLESIASTES 6:1-8 1] There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men: 2] A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease. 3] If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good, and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he. 4] For he cometh in with vanity, and departeth in darkness, and his name shall be covered with darkness. 5] Moreover he hath not seen the sun, nor known any thing: this hath more rest than the other. 6] Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good: do not all go to one place? 7] All the labour of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled. 8] For what hath the wise more than the fool? what hath the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living?

These scriptures talk about the rich, the famous, those who are well fed. It really makes no difference who and how well off you are. Just as the poor and needy who are the compassion of God, they to must reverence God alike. A rich mans or women's wealth won't be a factor in Life, True Life nor will your wealth and fame bring you Joy. Without Jesus there is no Life neither is there any Joy. Everything we have Rich or Poor it is a waiste In Vain without Christ. Our desires regardless of our status must be directed towards God.

MATTHEW 6:20-24 VERSE 21, For where your Treasure is, there will your Heart be also. VERSE 24, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

The Truth is that our desires can not and should not override our Love for God. The Light Of Life is The Love of Christ! The Love of the world and it's pleasures is Darkness and Death.

Tell your friends, relatives, family members even your enemies. Tell them Jesus is coming and he is not coming to Save but to Redeem those who have been Purchased by his Blood, The Blood of Jesus Christ.

Tell them to let Jesus be the desire of there lives and receive Salvation. Say yes... Say yes.. Save me Jesus! ROMANS 10:9-10, 9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Our action and reaction as a Child of God should and must be like Christ. The world must be able to see your light just as the woman did when she said to Peter, your one who is with Jesus. Hebrews Chapter 13: vs 1-3 1) "Let brotherly love continue". 2)"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares" 3) "Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body".

Today and always we must set our hearts to be loving and kind to everyone we meet, yes even our enemies. Love Unfeigned: John Chp 15:vs 12 "This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you". Matthew Chp 5: vs 44 "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for them which de-spitefully use you and persecute you. These are truly Christ like characteristics. Philip Chp 2: vs 5 "Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus." As christian people we need to carry ourselves in like manner. How we treat people daily should reflect the Christ that lives inside of us. I often say and do my best to live by this motto. its not that John, Sue and Joe saw me yes that's very much important because we are suppose to be examples for the world as Christ was an example for us. What's most Important is that Christ, God the father saw me and nothing can be hidden from him. Don't get me wrong and don't be misled, don't be fake because God searches the heart and tries the reins Jeremiah Chp 17: vs 10. So lets at all times be true to ourselves as being true to one another. Philip Chp 2: vs 13 "for it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure". vs 14, 15 as well read and be blessed.

Today's child of God needs more study in God's word to learn the Living Way of being free from sin. Some believe that Christianity comes with a bunch of Unbearable Rules. Well I can say this, Who among you can or could have bearded the Cross. God's words and his ways keeps us from ever having to experience such excruciating pain and suffering.
HEBREWS 12:2-4 2] Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3] For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4] Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

Now tell me, who would you rather be looking at? I know who I'm looking at. The Book Of Proverbs is a blessed map of Ways To Walk, To Talk and To Love everyone one you meet.

ISAIAH 55:8-9

The Word of God is our Spiritual Training Book which shows us the way to Heaven. Men have Trained for centuries preparing themselves for a trip to the Moon ans back to Earth. They Train for the going and the coming. SEE BELOW

COVID-19 Coronavirus crepped into our live unaware, the same way Jesus Christ will return on that Cloud with all his Angels. It's Time To Exam Ourselves and The Devotion we Have for God. Is Our Hearts all In....Is There Something Overshadowing, Overtaking The Treasure that should be first in Ourselves. Yes it's Time To Exam Ourselves. In the book of Isaiah 43:1-7,
God encourages the children of Israel not to be afraid of the terror, the threats, the circumstantial situations that just show up in their lives to tear them down. The Water and Fire are symbolic of our natural causations that appear in our everyday lives. I call them circumstantial situations. The worry, frustration, sickness, financial concerns, my children all sorts of issues and concerns come to threaten the peace we have found in God. God wants you to know that as long as you have him in your life, you are more than a conqueror. ROMANS 8:35-37

The Senghenydd colliery disaster, also known as the Senghenydd explosion
(Welsh: Tanchwa Senghennydd), occurred at the Universal Colliery in Senghenydd, near Caerphilly, Glamorgan, Wales, on 14 October 1913. The explosion, which killed 439 miners and a rescuer, is the worst mining accident in the United Kingdom. Universal Colliery, on the South Wales Coalfield, extracted steam coal, which was much in demand. Some of the region's coal seams contained high quantities of firedamp, a highly explosive gas consisting of methane and hydrogen. LET REMEMBER THE LOST AND PAIN OF ALL FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS!

14 Oct, 1938 Germany Nazi's Attacks Clergy: Adolf Hitler's deputy has attacked the catholic clergy during a massive Nazi rally in Austria telling the cheering crowd of 100,000 that the clergy are seeking to instigate people against the state. Hitler or Christ is not the question, Hitler has never taken a stand against the Church and there is only one Fuhrer and his name is Adolf Hitler, and the clergy should not take orders from Rome but from the Fuhrer. BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY! STIMULUS CHECKS
When the pandemic sent the world into lockdown in March 2020, many commentators quipped that a mini baby boom would follow nine months later. The reality was entirely different. Financial insecurity, increased parental responsibilities and anxiety about the future, along with other difficulties, prompted many to delay or forego having a baby. Economists are now projecting 300,000 fewer births in the United States this year than would have been expected before the pandemic.

Demographic changes can have economic ramifications. Falling birthrates mean smaller generations of taxpayers will eventually be responsible for supporting larger generations of retirees. Historically, therefore, governments have viewed a declining birthrate as an existential threat, raising the spectre of decline or extinction. The question of how direct government action might encourage a higher birthrate is not new; European governments have been grappling with this question for decades, France foremost among them.

Some government action in this period aimed to make it harder for women to choose smaller families. This included two laws passed in 1920: one making it illegal to sell or distribute contraceptive devices or information; the other strengthening the existing law punishing illegal abortions. There was also a strong push to offer an array of financial benefits and rewards, such as allowances, to families with children. This was in part to incentivise more births and make it easier to support larger families. It was also about encouraging the population to see the process of producing and raising the next generation of soldiers, workers and mothers as a collective responsibility. Such propaganda made it clear that those who chose to have few or no children – and it was usually presented as a choice – would have to help support the children of more prolific households. It depicted exhausted parents raising large families in squalid conditions, while childless couples lived in luxury, an injustice that could only be corrected through family benefits. commandment.

Did you know from the day you said yes to God, He has purposed to prove his faithfulness to you.

The Choice To Live Your Life Trusting In Jesus or In Yourself. The choice to Live Righteous Lives according to God or a Life of Unrighteousness Living your way, worldy according to the ways of man.
[PROVERBS 14:12] “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”

Our way of Living is blind because we don't know what life has in store for us. So we cause ourselves un needed stress and pain worry and frustration without any help in sight because of the choice we made. Our Trust should be in God the Creator of all Things,

PROVERBS 3:5-8 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

The lesson today gives examples of true occurrences that happened when man chose to be against God, even spoke against God questioning the benefits of living God's way verses the world. As we end our series on SIN, CONFESSION AND REPENTANCE we do remember one of the most famous confessions of sin and repentance ever written in the Bible PSALM 51 King David's Transgression with Bathsheba 2ND SAMUEL CHP11 & CHP12. 1] Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. 2] Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. 3] For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. David's confessions of sin showed how remorseful and broken he was at his action. God proved his his Love by his forgiveness and his loyalty to those who have been wronged. 2ND SAMUEL 12:18-23 18] And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead? 19] But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead. 20] Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the Lord, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat. 21] Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread. 22] And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether God will be gracious to me, that the child may live? 23] But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me. As we see there is and always will be a Righteous Judge. Sin is a decease that must be cleansed by Judgement and the penalty is according to God and not man. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins and it was his Father God ELOHIM who gave his son Jesus a a ransom. Thank you Jesus. Today we end our series on SIN CONFESSION AND REPENTANCE with these verses ROMANS 10:8-10 8] But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
