Many people, especially those coming from multi-cultural backgrounds, like me, aren’t given the chance to practice self-care and seek mental health care. It’s simply not the norm in some households as there’s still a strong stigma and shame that surrounds it.

Lamesita aims to change that and reinforce that taking a moment for your mental wellbeing is a necessary experience, no matter what your background is. I want to foster a culture and attitude of inclusion. It’s a quick check in, a 'hello', a walk in the park, with me, your host and friend Aly.

It doesn’t replace qualified therapy, though I hope that through our conversations, alongside with seeking various treatments, you will find what works for you. Because you deserve a healthy mind. It starts with a conversation.
