Then I head over to the bar where Head Bartender Travis made me their Sugar and Smoke Old Fashion and then I tried My Girl Blue, which to me was a lot like a Blue Hawaiian.

Drinking Across America - The Ohio Club
Welcome all you Drinkers Across America, and thank you for following us as we journey across America visiting the best breweries, festivals, restaurants, and bar & grills from coast to coast.
On this weeks episode we find ourselves in beautiful, historic downtown Hot Springs, AR at The World Famous Ohio Club. This is the oldest bar in the state of Arkansas, opening it's doors in 1905, and has a lot of history inside it's walls.
We chat with my good friend "The Burger Chef" himself, Michael Dampier and learn about the famous, and infamous, celebrities whom have graced both the stage, bar, and old casino inside this historic building. The likes of Babe Ruth, Al Jolsen, President Theodore Roosevelt, Bugsy Segal, Bugs Moran, Lucky Luciano, and most famously, or I should say infamously, Scarface himself Al Capone have been known, amongst others, to frequent this bar & grill.

Drinking Across America - Chattabrewchee Southern Brewhouse
On this episode I find myself up in West Point, GA where I am visiting Chattabrewchee Southern Brewhouse. This brewery is a first in that it is the first female, active duty military, owned brewery in the country. It is also home to another first as well. This is the first brewery, bar, or restaurant in the state of Georgia to have a self-serving wall of taps. The great thing about the self-serve taps are that you can not only serve yourself, but, you can also choose how much of of each beer you want to try, anywhere from 1 oz. up to 16 oz. Although I was not able to sit down and talk to co-owner Cathy Dennehy as she was at the time deployed overseas, I was able to talk to her husband and co-owner, retired Army Officer Michael Dennehy.
Go ahead and pop open your favorite beer, pour a glass of wine, or mix up your favorite cocktail and join me for another episode of Drinking Across America.

We tour the buildings, interview some of the villagers, and enjoy some beer and cocktails provided by local favorite Nonic Beer Bar and Kitchen out of Columbus, GA.
I hope you enjoy this little history lesson along with your favorite beverages on this episode of Drinking Across America "Open Tap" from historic Westville, GA.
