Where ever we are. What ever our circumstances. Who ever we are, we can be a thankful person. My Dad always told me that things could be worse and that there is always someone in a worse situation than I am in. I learned early to be thankful and do what I could to improve whatever needed improving.

A Spot of Poetry
I came across this poem while creating the January 2024 edition of Snail Mail Newsletter. This segment seemed fitting for a new year theme, but I discovered it is a small portion of a much larger poem that Tennyson wrote as a memorial for a friend's passing.
