#51: About Probationary Periods
In this episode of Amy Talks, I discuss something that everyone has to go through in a new workplace - a probationary period. Some people pass, and some fail. I talk frankly about my experience of failing my probation twice, and the impact both of these failings had on me. Also find out how I discovered more about how I failed my probation from a podcast that my ex-manager did, than the actual employer themselves 👀

With the 20th anniversary of 9/11 coming up, I speak to Dean Rotbart, author of the book September Twelfth. We discuss the Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage, how the other US bureaus helped out with the next day's paper, and an amazing story of the last ever receipt given out at the World Trade Center.
