#31: About Teaching Children about LGBT+ Families (Interview with author Rick AKA Sudi Karatas)

I'm back! I've been away for a while, and I have explained my absence, so apologies for being away for so long. In this episode of Amy Talks, I speak to writer and actor Rick Karatas (although he likes to be called Sudi) about his book 'Rainbow Relatives'. This book teaches young children about LGBT+ families, so as they grow up they can be more aware of the family setups around them. I ask him about negative reactions to the book, what children can learn and why the younger people are more open and accepting than other generations.  Links mentioned in the episode: - Sudi's book 'Rainbow Relatives' on Amazon UK: https://amzn.to/2SeDgxW - Sudi's film 'Walk A Mile In My Pradas' on Amazon Prime: https://amzn.to/3icvr6d - Sudi’s YouTube channel: https://bit.ly/3l0Pk2a - Follow Sudi on Twitter: @sudirick Follow the show on social media! - Twitter and Facebook: @amytalkspodcast Find the show wherever you get your podcasts - make sure to subscribe to keep up with new episodes! Conspiracy theories are all the rage at the moment - is Paul McCartney really dead? Who is Lil Miquela? I explore these mysteries and more as they're very fascinating to me (even if I don't always believe them!). Which ones are your favourites? Be sure to let me know on Twitter or Facebook @amytalkspodcast.
