Boone County Establishment Republicans are really mad at the County Party for sending out a mailer defending the Republican Party platform. Kelcey Rock joins me to talk about HD 19’s race. I finish up looking at races against conservative incumbents.

We continue our discussion of the Establishment overreaching themselves by taking a look at some of the incumbents they are trying to take down. One thing seems clear though, they really had a hard time finding good people to run.

A new PAC is running ads targeting those who took money from the JCPS teacher’s union.

I take a look at the race in House District 29. A state House race that has 6 people running in it. Tony Florence from KY Smoke Free Association and the KY Hemp Association to talk about the effects of HB11 and the fight against it.

Clark County Tourism came under scrutiny when it spread an event that many considered to be promoting witchcraft. The business in questions promises that it is not practicing witchcraft, a claim that deserves some scrutiny. Sen. Rand Paul calls out Ukraine funding.

Public schools across the state are announcing they need to make cuts, but something isn’t adding up. In the House District 91 race you have incumbent Bill Wesley facing off against an opponent who is enjoying an odd amount of support for democrat donor. I’ll go over what happening in that race.

Property tax bills are increasing all over Kentucky. Taxing this way is immoral and wrong, and should be stopped. Morehead Kentucky has a drag show attended by children that your tax dollars funded. Establishment Reps admit that Kentucky may never reach a 0% income tax.

The 2024 primaries are going to be incredibly important to the future of the Kentucky House, and I’ll go over why. Rep. Killian Timoney has resorted to just outright misrepresentation of his voting record. A viral social media post says a women was almost the victim of sex trafficking in Kentucky. I’ll go over just ho ridiculous this claim is.

SB6 failed but the Legislature did do something in response to the AG’s opinion on racial admissions practices surrounding Kentucky colleges. I go into another round of talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly that occurred this legislative session.

Many media outlets get a SB2 amendment wrong because of tricks played by leadership in the house that go far outside the norm. I take a look at the budget and a few other issues that point to how this legislative session made everyone mad.

As the legislative session veto period starts, I take a quick look at a few things that made it across the line in the final days.

A bill to ban vaccine mandates hits the Senate Floor, and all kinds of cray arguments against the bill are thrown out there. I also go over a few other bills of note that have passed so far this year.

On Monday, the most significant moment so far this legislative session played out in the KY House. Republican Leadership in the house decide to ignore key parts of the Kentucky Constitution in order to stop a bill from passing. The bill in question would have required the porn industry to take greater steps to ensure their content doesn’t get delivered to minors. I go over what happened, and why it is so important.

There is just 4 days left of this year’s legislative session, and there are a lot of bills moving. In today’s show I go over bills that have passed at least one chamber. These bills need our attention if we want to either stop, or get them over the finish line.
