Prior to joining the UNH athletic department, Murphy served as the Director of Media Relations and a Ticket Sales Executive for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Toronto Blue Jays’ Double-A affiliate located in Manchester, from 2006-10. He played a significant role as part of the Fisher Cats’ front office that was awarded the prestigious 2009 Double-A Bob Freitas Award by Baseball America in recognition for achieving long-term success in Minor League Baseball.
