This is what I'm working on at the moment - a "User Manual For The Mind" and wish I'd had one of these in 2006!

I wouldn't have ended up in a psychiatric hospital for 5 weeks worrying about the hole I was shovelling money into: a big mortgage with negative equity on the house I'm sitting in right now. Looks crazy to me when I write that.

No matter what happens in life, we are always resilient enough to handle it - when we know how. A fraudster in Cyprus proved that in 2013 when he stole half my pension and all the savings for my sons' further education, amounting to £150,000. That's twice the amount I was worrying about 7 years before and no hospital trip that time. So what changed? For one thing, I've learned to really forgive myself and others - why cart all that pain and resentment around?

Challenges can teach us so much and in 2006 as I lay locked up on my own in a hospital room, I vowed to research everything I could find about how to deal with severe stress, anxiety and depression naturally - because all I was being offered were drugs with horrible side-effects. So that's why I've spent the last 10 years collecting and bottling up what it takes to enjoy great mental and physical health.
