Nat has worked in the Creative Arts Industry since leaving university in 2001. She works as a website builder, tour manager, music marketer, youth mentor, on-site media manager for Bluesfest, and assistant to Gaynor Crawford. She has packed a lot in and continues to.

Jess Martin is a designer/maker and creator with a background in theatre design.

A founding member of the London set design collective Morning Sets, Designing and building sets for theatre, film, events and public spaces. Alongside her role with Morning Sets she worked within a variety of community organisations creating immersive workshops with and for young people.

Recent projects focused on youth participation in the design of public spaces and playscapes.

With Brexit and COVID Jess finds herself back in Australia pursuing the elusive processes of creating in ceramic.

From his first foray as a punk clarinettist in Canberra band The Slammers, through a twenty year career co-fronting the Gadflys, to current incarnation as The Great Muldavio in Kabaret Noir outfit Mikelangelo And The Black Sea Gentlemen, Philip Moriarty's musical path, though not consciously avante guarde or anti-idolist, has certainly been unusual. More recently he has been busy (when not touring with Mikelangelo) releasing his first solo album, rehearsing with various forms of a collective known variously as The Paris Brests, The Troubles and The Hi-Fi Boots and, spasmodically, pursuing a solo career with his latest album “L'espirt De L’escalier"

Melanie has been described by the Sydney Morning Herald as having a voice of ‘the utmost delicateness’, as a ‘songwriting gem’ by The Australian. Based in Candelo in southern NSW, Melanie has recorded Eleven albums and EPs including her latest solo album, 'Trobairitz'. Melanie's critically acclaimed album The Cloud Appreciation Society was long-listed for the 2013 Australian Music Prize, Quatre Chemins for the 2015 Australian Music Prize, and she was nominated for an APRA award in 2011.

She has toured with Glen Hansard and The Frames, Jason Mraz, Bernard Fanning, Lou Rhodes, Slaid Cleaves and Sarah Blasko among others, as well as touring extensively on her own in Australia and Europe. Melanie recorded an album in French, which was funded by the highly successful Pozible campaign and gave Melanie a six month residency in France, writing songs with poet Alain Rivet and pop icon Helena Noguerra. Melanie has also written songs with Wendy Matthews and Catherine Britt, and for film and television. She has recently returned from showcasing at the International Folk Alliance in Montreal

Every year Brian has one of the best gigs going:  making travel films and mentoring the winner of the international World Nomads Travel Film Scholarship. So far he’s filmed assignments in Rio De Janeiro for Carnivale,  New Orleans for Mardi Gras, Mexico for Day of the Dead, the remote pacific coast of Colombia, the stunning Sapa region of Vietnam, the remote Solu Khumbu region of Nepal, Kerala - India, & Tanzania.

Brian’s travel films revolve around his passions: healthy communities, the environment, sustainable travel and social enterprises that benefit all of the above. These films are accompanied by fundraising campaigns leveraging micro donations from customers of World Nomads - a global brand in travel insurance.

Over the years these “Positive Footprints” campaigns have made a massive difference to communities all across the globe.

Brian has worked for 20 years in TV, documentary, corporate, educational & film production. Having shot short films and documentaries over the years, Brian also worked for ABC's pioneering digital film channel "Fly TV" and taught for 6 years at one of Australia's premier TV and video production training schools, Metro Screen.

He trained originally at Swinburne (now the Victorian College of the Arts School of Film & TV) in writing and directing drama and holds degrees in History & Anthropology.

Selena has worked in publishing for many years, both in a freelance editing business and in positions at Allen & Unwin and Selwa Anthony Author Management Agency. This experience, combined with a longstanding and active interest in film, theatre and interactive storytelling, a degree in Creative Writing and a Diploma of Book Editing and Publishing, has allowed her to develop the skills to work as an editor.

David has been in the recording industry for over 30 years. He has worked in studios in London, Los Angeles and all over Australia.

Starting out in 1979 at United Sound Studios, Sydney and then Albert Studios, he has worked with a huge variety of music and talent - from full orchestral recordings for films like Crocodile Dundee II, to the film Soundtrack for The Sapphires featuring Jessica Mauboy. Having worked with producer legends including Vanda & Young, Bruce Brown, Russell Dunlop, David Lord and Elvis Costello, he has recorded and mixed some of Australia’s biggest selling albums and singles.

Lissa Barnum is a Designer, Educator and Business builder. Her focus is on ‘community,’ maximising human potential through the application of Human Centred Design (HCD), methods.  She is CEO and Working across the Corporate, Government and Educational sectors, she attributes her problem solving to ‘collaboration’, applying co-design and appreciative inquiry to market solutions. Through the creation of strategic frameworks, she helps support ‘change,’ for organisations as well as communities.

A practicing designer of 25+ years, Senior Lecturer & Academic of 16 years, her MBA (Uni. of Adelaide), in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Commercialisation, is ideal partner to her Design experience applying Research, Impact (Measurement) & Sustainability, to client outcomes.

Lissa was born and raised in Mexico, hence her empathy for community. She’s fluent in Spanish and when not consulting or teaching in Sydney.

Andrew Barnum has 30+ years’ experience as a Designer, Educator and Creative Strategist. As a Creative Director, he is passionately dedicated to social-connection, content creation and constructive adaptation to 21st century conditions.

His mission is to educate Commerce & Industry through an expressive and productive conversation that acknowledges the value of a Creative and Cultural Economy. Prior to heading up the Creative Industry Faculty at Open Colleges, Andrew was Head of College at Billy Blue College of Design. He holds an Associate Diploma in Graphic Art from RMIT, a Master of Arts (Research) from UTS : FASS and is completing a PhD in the same faculty, investigating ‘Supportive conditions for Australian songwriters.’

He is a published songwriter and composer. When not consulting in Design or teaching Creative Process in Sydney.

Originally an actress, debut novelist, D.M. Cameron, is an AWGIE nominated radio dramatist, award winning playwright and celebrated short film writer. Her first novel, 'Beneath the Mother Tree', published by MidnightSun in 2018, was listed as a top Australian fiction read and longlisted for the Davitt Awards.

Ash is a passionate supporter of indigenous rights and for many years, working with communities, has told their stories through his lens. His documentary feature film "Punks for West Papua" has won many awards worldwide and Ash is the official representative for the Free West Papua Campaign. In this episode Ash also talks about a new documentary he is making in response to the New Years Eve fire at Conjola Park on the south coast of NSW.

Victoria's short films have screened in over 200 festivals and won over 70 International awards including BAFTA and AACTA. Her film "The Telegram Man" has played as part of the dawn service at ANZAC Cove Gallipoli for the last six years including the 2016 special Centenary service.

Now a debut feature film writer and director Victoria chats with Andy about her film "The Flood" and the team of creative people she loves to work with.

Andy Gordon has a chat with Dale Miles. Sydney based, Dale graduated from the National Art School in 2006 and has studied Ancient and Renaissance Art in Italy and France. A recipient of the Sculpture by the Sea Major prize in 2016, the Helen Lempriere Scholarship in 2015, a Storrier Onslow National Art School Paris Residency in 2012 a major public sculpture commission from the City of Sydney for Taylor Square in 2009 and numerous other prizes over the years. Dale has an exhibition at Australian Galleries, Paddington from 8-25 October 2020.

Stephanie Monteith has been a finalist in the Archibald Prize, the Wynne, the Sir John Sulman and the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize and the Helen Lempriere Travelling Art Scholarship. Stephanie won the Gosford Art Prize in 2018. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts UNSW Art & Design.

Stephanie has an exhibition at the Australian Galleries, Paddington from 8 - 25 October 2020.
