How to know when to HIRE AN ASSISTANT.
This episode addresses a question you may be contemplating if you're at a crossroads in your business. HIRING AN ASSISTANT!!! Can you still attempt to do all the things on your own? Probably. What would life look like if you had a little help? I'll tell you. It would look wonderful! Most of us have a fear of cost when it comes to an add-on such as hiring an assistant. Let's face it, for most of us, this would be considered a luxury, not a necessity. However, when we get down to the nuts and bolts of our billable work hours and our weekly expenditures to Starbucks, if you reduced some of your weekly fluff on fancy coffees you could pay someone $100 a week for 5 - 7 hours of their time. By welcoming in luxury as a necessity you expand your margin greatly and gain the sanity you've been looking to reclaim.
If you are looking for an assistant I recommend searching virtual assistant platforms such as:
If you have projects you want to outsource I suggest...
I would like to thank Becca Christensen for her time and talent by enriching my new career path. Thank you, Bec for all of your hard work, thoughts, and for telling me when my idea stinks. Sushi time is around the corner!!

Interview #8 Julie Landreth Part 2
Welcome to part two of our interview with Julie Landreth. In this episode, we listen to what happens when we are transitioning from a place of a corporate work environment and having to trust in an unseen plan ushers her into a season of rest and new purpose. Just when we think we have everything figured out and we are on the fast track to success, change comes. Haven't we all been there?
Let's take a look at someone's testimony in a trajectory shift by way of a move and unexpected solitude. Many times we wrestle in our season of rest because we tend to strive for achievement and significance. We waste precious time instead of leaning into a quiet space God has prepared for us all because we chase a dream. Take it from Julie and me as we explore God's provision, His mercy, and the cave moments he intentionally gives us so when His timing is ready we can emerge what He created us to be.

Interview #8 Julie Landreth Part 1
Join us in episode 11 with speaker, writer, artist, and designer Julie Landreth. Julie is most known for creating a curriculum based on helping marriages beat the ever climbing 50% divorce rate. She speaks into the hearts of women, encouraging them to love their spouses well. The name of her curriculum is "Wife Lab."
In this episode Julie shares a moment when she had an unexpected housemate during the "shelter in place" for Covid 19 and what God did to give her a new exciting opportunity in a time that could have been very lonely. What I love about this interview is Julie's reference to marriage and the wisdom she can offer to us as listeners.
This is a PART 1 of PART 2 episode and our SEASON FINALE! I hope you have enjoyed this show as much as we have enjoyed creating it for you. We will return for a whole new season in January!
Interview #7 Greg Froelich
Today pastor Greg is flying solo and taking big risks to assemble what he describes to be a "mobile church." Back in April 2019 Greg felt the calling of the Holy Spirit to create and launch a church without walls. Little did he know that several months later we would be unable to congregate as a church body in buildings due to the 2020 pandemic. If you want to learn more about "The Difference Church" I'll link the website below and you can have a chance to connect with pastor Greg himself! He is also present on most social media platforms too.

A Business Without Borders - A very real conversation on racism in business
In this episode "A Business Without Borders" we invite you into our very transparent and real conversation on a controversial topic, racism in business. Being that your hosts are both African American and Caucasian we share with you the point of view from both sides of our story. Each one of us experiences disappointment in our daily lives and as a business owner but how are we supposed to respond and change the narrative as Christian business owners?
You may want to know what an open conversation between two people who are of both races, both sharing the same faith, would look like? Allow us to reveal our thoughts and experiences with you. How do we react to each other? What is our message and call to action to other Christian business owners? Is it ok for us to feel the hurt and pain of others who are in the black community and what is it doing to our black sisters and brothers when we are silent?
Take a listen as we deliver a difficult topic only by God's grace.
I want to personally thank Sherronda Scoggins, my co-host, for giving us a transparent look into her world. If you would like to connect with her or are interested in her floral and rental company please go to Facebook or Instagram @kceventsandflorals as well as her website kceventsandflorals.com.
