I usually fall asleep pretty quickly, but being 26 weeks pregnant is starting to mess with me. So, certain thoughts keep running through my mind. This past week, I had a thought that kept me up…a lot later than it should.

• What if I can’t do this?
  
• What if things get even worse in our world?
  
• What if this is another “flash in the pan” (which is super typical with my Human Design)?
  

But sometimes, those mindworms called “Doubt” will start whispering in my ear…telling me, “You talk a big talk, Ann. You aren’t strong enough to walk the walk.”

I had to wear my big girl pants to stay on course with my 2021 outcomes. Here’s how I did it.

I didn't have to develop a discipline habit until I started my own business back in 2018. And it wasn't until recently that I actually sat down to think about what the purpose of all this "discipline" was. The discipline of being consistent on socials, the discipline of following up with a lead, the discipline of taking repeated steps & mastering them.

I just thought discipline was annoying. Annoying to me, & annoying to other people. That's a pattern of behavior that kept me broke. (And if you are thinking, "They will be so annoyed if I say this one more time!!" then it is keeping you broke as well.)

One of my guiding words for 2020 is "Believe". Gonna be real, when that word generator popped that one up on the screen I got chills. I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious about how this would play out in my business this year. I had already spent a year of DEEP mindset work. Going deep into my subconscious & why I wasn't selling, journaling pages & pages & pages, getting clear on my habits & how I was allowing my unintentional habits to guide my business growth. 

I know you are doing this too. You are a conscious business owner & you see what the big dogs tell you to do: journal. Do the mindset work. visualize your success. Write gratitude journals. Write your goal 55 times & then spin around in a circle 5 times & touch you nose while clicking your heels saying, "there's no place like home. there's no place like home." And I did that. But it wasn't until I realized the ONE THOUGHT that was keeping me stuck at this income level, before I was able to reach the next level, & then be booking private high-ticket clients every month & setting the pace for my own business.

When you are booking out your signature service, it can be overwhelming how many things you need to have in place. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, contracts, automatic systems, invoicing, taxes, etc....I mean, just to name a few of the actions you need to have in place.

But when you need your next client (whether that's your first or your 10th) what systems do you really need in place to book that client?

1. Grow System: how are you actively getting new leads (ideal clients) every day?
2. Nurture System: how are you staying top of mind with your leads? And when do you know to stop following up with them?
3. Sell System: how can they work with you?

Social Media is a bar. And you know you want to find your next client in social media.

So what are the steps that you need to take to start selling on social media?

1. If you don’t know your ONE person, then you will stay in “hustle” mode. You will stay in the bar & not go on dates.
2. Understand the “Bar Expectation”. You are the rule, not the exception.
3. Developing a sales relationship looks the same as a dating relationship. You need to like talking to them if you know you are working towards MARRYING this person.
4. People know-like-trust people who know-like-trust themselves. It’s not an exact algorithm.

Over my last 5 sales calls for my high-ticket private coaching, I have an 80% conversion rate.

1 it didn’t end up working out financially.

2 bought private coaching packages on the call.

2 bought in the DMs. Didn’t need a sales call.

AND THEY ARE ALL AMAZING CLIENTS.

4. Time: 3-12 months
5. Deliverables: what is needed to complete the project, support, etc.
6. Price: must hit your minimum financial needs if you only booked this service
7. Benefits: no one buys a car over another car because it has windows.
