Nushi Yapabandara is a high school chemistry and computer science teacher in San Jose, CA. She teaches grades 9-12 and is one of her many passions, along with racial justice, disability rights, and animal rights. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Philosophy with a concentration in Ethics and Public Policy in 2018. The following May, she completed her Masters in Education with a concentration in teaching from University of the Pacific while simultaneously earning her preliminary teaching credentials. In addition to teaching high schoolers, Nushi is also currently a full-time student at San Jose City College pursuing two certificates in Data Analytics. MM's practice using The Design Thinking Process Model to solve a mock problem, creating an ideal wallet.  Adapted from Stanford Design School.  This process helps people create solutions to problems; the goal with this type of thinking is encouraging our MM's to feel comfort with solving problems that impact our world.   Thank you for your support and spread the word!  Any proceeds the podcast makes, goes back into The Mini Manifesters' Discovery Program.  

Today you will hear students ranging in the ages of 10-14 processing information regarding their personality test results and dropping news that's important to them.   These Mini Manifesters are a part of the Mini Manifesters' Discovery pilot program where they process how they fit into the global community in addition to sharing news and information that matters to them and their community.  By the end of the program they will have made a prototype and next steps to release into the community to answer the issues they feel their community is experiencing.   Enjoy!!!  Thank you for supporting our leaders for the NOW:  Mini Manifesters!
