Christianity is not beneficial to black and brown people!
Christianity was forced into the lives of black and brown people as slavery was spreading. Colonialism still impacts the way non-White people look at the world; we continue to exist based on the concepts of colonizers. Christianity is one of many ways in which the slavemasters left their legacies in the lives of their slaves. Christianity has no benefit to the economic and intellectual survival of black people or brown people. Simply put, Christianity is a setback, an impasse, and a deterrent.
Have black people benefitted from religions?
The answer is no. We are "stuck" in our oppressors' religions from Islam to Christianity. As black people, the historical information that would allow us to
completely free ourselves from the "white savior" grip has been with-held. As a result, we have been worshipping God through the lens of Europeans. There
are still black people who hold images of a white jesus as they pray. This is abnormal behavior. This is the psychological aftermath of being marginalized for so long that even the ways we worship are related more to Europe's conclusions.
Old Testament and misinformation
More reading on "We The Black Jews." Drawing some conclusions about the evidence in the book and connecting that to actual happenings. The Old Testament has many historical references, which are connected to other areas of history, which are not preached by religions. There is so much to learn, because the bible does not give the full history. Instead, researchers have been the heroes of the day, because they examined the bible and worked to connect the stories to actuality. Sadly, what many of those researchers would uncover was blatant plagiarism.
Recommended book: We The Black Jews by Yosef A.A. ben-Jochannan
Introduction to the Old Testament and its messages
So much is written in the Old Testament, but is it the truth? In this podcast, I am focusing on a book called, We The Black Jews, by Yosef A.A. ben-Jochannan. In the book, Jochannan is debunking the claims which are known in religions. He is referencing the religion, Judaism, and its origin and its connection to the Egyptian Mysteries System.
Sorting through the good and the bad..
Focusing on dualism in life instead of being confined to the baseless claims of Adam-and-Eve's sins. In the practical world, no one is excluded from experiencing bad days regardless of their knowledge of the psalms. The physical world and all its atrocities will affect each of us. Recently, my car was stolen, and though my spirit was low and I was upset; I had to work to re-gain my strength. I found myself asking God to give me strength to revive myself, because my car was part of my income, and losing it was a great loss. Nonetheless, I had to come to terms with that reality.
Finale of 'Stolen Legacy' by George G.M James.
I am concluding from the various passages of the book. James is putting forth arguments about the Greeks using the Egyptian Mysteries System ideas to create narratives. Philosophy did not originate in Greece, but it was borrowed conclusions of ancient Africa. Through the plundering of Alexander-the-Great, Greece would inherit ancient Africa's work, and then Rome and then Europe would re-write those concepts.
The bible must be analyzed by the reader- not just the church. There are historical contexts in the bible which are connected to actual history.
I encourage you as the reader of religious doctrines to conduct actual research.
Continuing to read from George G.M. James book called, Stolen Legacy.
In this segment, I am reading through the book called, Stolen Legacy. In the book, the discussion of the Egyptian Mysteries System and how ancient Egypt(Kemet) would contribute to Greece and Rome's conclusions about life. How the ancient people of Africa lived their lives through their understanding of Nature became a copy in Greece and Rome. The difference was that Greece created mythical stories from the cultural conclusions of ancient Africa.
Traveling Concepts which are featured in the bible.
Africa is the start of civilization and many African contributions were copied to the regions of Greece and Rome. Educator, G.M. James, wrote the book, Stolen Legacy, and he explained how "Greek Philosophy" has no history other than that it was stolen from Egypt's(KMT) history. So many of the concepts in the bible are really African-centered knowledge that was transferred to create philosophy in the regions of Greece and Rome.
Listen in as I read excerpts from the book, Stolen Legacy...
The difference between spiritual concepts and religious ideologies..
Since leaving Christianity, I continue to focus on learning and growing instead of adhering to religious conclusions. It is life-changing to compare and contrast what my life was like back then to what it is now. I can say that many changes have occurred, and I am more at ease with life. I don't live in fear of hell, and instead my focus is on God and defining myself.
The ills of religion.
Religions offer a physical place to worship, but they can also cause distractions because they introduce rules and rituals. As the journey with God continues, continue to focus on you-mentally, spiritually, and physically.
The errors in Paul's writings!
Paul said a lot to the different churches. For example, according to Paul; we are just sinners who do not deserve God's love. Paul's confusion can be seen in his writings and it is causing people to think that their lives are just stuck in sins. Additionally, he said that our lives are cursed because of Adam's sins, but rest assured, because Adam-and-Eve did not exist.
Live your life in your own definition; not through the words of Paul...
Going back-and-forth while claiming faith!
Paul also battled with his writings and preaching. He wrote a line where jesus told a disciple that Julius Caesar needed to be given what is due to him while God also needed to be given attention. What was that line about? How could jesus come to Earth to identify injustices but still acknowledged the tyranny of Julius?
Consistency and clarity are gifts from God, and God wouldn't want us wavering between doing good and doing bad. As believers, we must also be clear with our journey in faith and avoid distractions as much as possible.
You are not a sinner! You are God's creation.
According to Paul, we are sinners all the time, but that is an egregious message. We are worthy of God's love and that love is continuous. We must also understand that we are responsible for our actions in this world. That everything we do should be about learning and growing instead of thinking that God punishes us for being human.
Anti-women sentiment is the theme of many religions!
Why would God only choose men to have conversations with? Did God really do that, or religions are preaching this destructive narrative on their own?
It is important to differentiate between God's plan and human actions. God created man and woman for a purpose, but religions are separating the two to assert a patriarch theme. As woman, we should not accept this because we are raising children.
Why, ALL this patriarchal mentioning in the Abrahamic religions?
My, oh my, so much of what we read in the bible comes from men to serve men on Earth. Is this God's idea, or human creation? Remember that God's creation ideas differ from religious conclusions. God put man-and-woman together for a purpose but religions have separated the man and the woman to prove that men are governors of Earth. Consequently, placing women in subservient roles.
God is not a man!
Listen to a poem of how men ruin God's designs while women remain subservient to men. Did God create this concept, or did religion write this into their dogmas? Patriarchy is a system of western civilization, but not of God.
Patriarchy in religion(s)
Why does God only speak to men in the bible? Well, the stories in the bible are in dire need of critical assessment especially where men are the main characters. This is one of many red-flags in the bible where the stories are saturated with men being leaders of women.
Women are fully capable of leadership roles and God would not just narrow-in on men while ignoring women. As women, we must take a closer look at the male-themes in the bible, and work to stop the disastrous definitions of men being the focus in all religions.
Solve problems practically and with spirituality!
The problems in our lives cannot be solved by the "Blood of Jesus" and by sending them to God. As believers in God, we are responsible for identifying issues and working to remedy those uncomfortable situations. We hold the strength, along with God's love to take on challenges. As believers, we know that God will guide and support us as we face different crises.
Jesus and Horus!
Learn about the similarities of Horus and Jesus.
Discussing pyscho-dynamics in religion.
Listen in on how psychology influences our behaviors, and even our presence in the church.
Life before-and-after biblical christ!
Read the bible as though it is a history book, not a holy book.
Take a look at the evidence.
Be more aware of the history of Christianity instead of repeating verses which are told to you by the institution. There is so much more information to learn, and you, as the listener and reader, should seek more knowledge.
Act Spiritually!
As a believer in God, it is important for us to practice love and harmony with others. That is the gear we get in prayer- God equips us with understanding, empathy, and peace so that we can share with others. Avoid conforming to the ways of the world, and instead work to exclude yourself from the doings of the world.
Open-mindedness!
Be more aware of the different civilizations in the bible.
Themes in the bible!
Themes of circumcision, leadership, and monarchies are not from God. They are from the designs of human beings and their tendencies to want power and notoriety.
Do some homework!
It is important for believers to learn to differentiate between pieces of information to gain a stronger conclusion of the bible. Simply following along in the ways of Christianity is not healthy. The bible is filled with violent stories, which are not God-breathed. God is about clarity and love, not destruction.
Evidence from different civilizations
This segment is about the connections between the Babylonian myths and the Christian bible stories. Also, referenced is the similar concepts of Vishnu and Christianity.
Storytelling
Who is telling the story and why? Find out why you, as the reader, or believer, must be aware of how stories are told in the bible.
Discernment is key!
The stories in the bible should be analyzed with the mindset that human beings were struggling to understand their environments and created ways to exist within those settings. The bible is more of a history book than it is a holy book.
Analyze- don't just repeat
Believers must take a different look at the messages in the bible.
Clarity
Clarity, discernment, and more clarity. Faith is not ignorant. Faith is knowing.
The importance of information
Do not be ignorant to new information. Keep an open-mind to information and respect it.
Do & Don't
Go to God, and seek God. Prophets cannot help you!
Time-Spent
This episode details my time in the religion. What I did, and what I learned as a result of being a Christian.
Heartfelt#2
