My final episode on intimacy professionalism and sex surrogacy

My final episode on intimacy professionalism and sex surrogacy

“The concepts of sex surrogates and surrogate partner therapy were originally introduced by pioneering gynecologist Dr. William Masters and sexologist Virginia Johnson to help men overcome sexual dysfunction. Currently, sex surrogates work with both men and women. In surrogate partner therapy, the sex surrogate takes a client through a multi-step process, beginning with very basic tools of communication and touch.

Surrogate partner therapy can include mutual nudity and two-way touch, as well as manual, oral sex or sexual intercourse. While other forms of sexual help – like experiential sex coaching or therapy can be accessed directly – surrogate partner therapy can only be accessed through a recommendation and ongoing work with a licensed psychotherapist. The therapist, client, and surrogate are thought of as a three-person therapeutic team. The function of the sex surrogate is to engage with the client in exercises to help them become more comfortable and adept at sexual and emotional intimacy.

Who Should See a Sex Surrogate?

A sex surrogate or surrogate partner therapy is often recommended by a therapist to clients who have a very high level of sexual dysfunction or interpersonal inhibition. These clients need to practice with a partner in a more structured environment to help them overcome their sexual challenges. These challenges might include sexual dysfunctions such as erectile dysfunction, pain during penetration, early ejaculation, or inability to orgasm. Surrogate partner therapy can also help if you are highly anxious sexually, have disabilities that make it more challenging to have sex, or have little or no experience with sex.

What is Sexual Surrogate Therapy?

In the initial consultation, you and your surrogate will get to know one another, begin to build rapport and make sure that surrogate partner therapy is right for you. After that, a step-by-step process begins where you and the sex surrogate communicate through each progressive step of intimacy and touch. One main tool of surrogacy is sensate focus, initially developed by Masters and Johnson. Sensate focus is meant to enhance relaxation, lower anxiety, and help you stay in touch with your sensations and arousal. Sex surrogates also help you process emotions around issues with sex and intimacy.

As you move through the phases of the therapy, you may practice back-and-forth touch. Your surrogate starts with the hands, then you might move to the face or other parts of the clothed body. In ongoing sessions, your sex surrogate will take time to educate you about sexual comfort, relaxation, touch, and best practices. You will slowly remove more clothing, learning to give and receive touch on all the different parts of your own and your surrogate’s body. Any oral sex or intercourse you have with your practitioner will be guided by safer sex practices.” -https://www.sexcoaching.com/types-of-therapy/what-is-a-sex-surrogate/

Every woman I slept with in the past was a survivor/victim of physical abuse and sexual abuse. (My last episode about my sexual past.)

“I forgive all of the women, and others that I was intimately with and I know that they all forgive me. We love each other, we don’t judge each other. We grant each other the same respect and same right that we individually desire for ourselves. We envision each other generously, graciously, and compassionately. Every partner I had in my sensitive past was well-pleased with me 💯 in body and “performance. I felt the same about them all.” Antonio Myers.

My omnism and my spiritual humanism (my last episode about believers and theists.)

My omnism and my spiritual humanism (my last episode about believers and theists.)

“Omnism is the respect of or belief in all religion.[1][2] Those who hold this belief are called omnists. In recent years, the term has been resurfacing due to the interest of modern-day self-described omnists who have rediscovered and begun to redefine the term. Omnism is similar to syncretism, the belief in a fusion of faiths in harmony.[3] However, it can also be seen as a way to accept the existence of various religions without believing in all that they profess to teach. Many omnists say that all religions contain truths, but that no one religion offers all that is truth. Contemporary usage has modified "belief in all religions" to refer more to an acceptance of the legitimacy of all religions. The Oxford English Dictionary elaborates that an omnist believes "in a single transcendent purpose or cause uniting all things or people". Omnists interpret this to mean that all religions contain varying elements of a common truth, that omnists are open to potential truths from all religions. The Oxford dictionary defines an omnist as "a person who believes in all faiths or creeds; a person who believes in a single transcendent purpose or cause uniting all things or people, or the members of a particular group of people".[4] Edward Herbert, 1st Baron Herbert of Cherbury, considered the first Deist, argued that all religions were true.[5] In the poem All Religions are One, William Blake professed that every religion originated from God's revelation.[6] Henry Stubbe and other Socinians synthesized a form of Muhammadan Christianity.[7] Unitarian Universalism, which grew out of the Protestant Reformation,[8] practices Omnist beliefs.[9] Other notable interfaith organizations include the Church for the Fellowship of All Peoples[10] and The Parliament of the World's Religions was the first organization with the goal to unite all religions.[11]” -Wikipedia.

All of the reasons for the decline of both Christianity and Church attendance in the Western World. (My very last Christianity episode.)

“This is my scratching rebuke of The Churchianity Pharisees, not the True Christians in the Church. They violate The Ten Commandments, but pretend that they don’t. They tell people not to drink coffee nor soft drinks, but they consume both behind the scenes. They tell people to not use gigolos, but they do so anyway and anyhow. They live secret lives of sex-related pastimes such as pornography, adult entertainment, sex industry, sex-oriented adult magazines, sex movies, sex toys, feisty and BDSM paraphernalia, sex channels for television, pre-paid sex movies for video on demands, adult movie theaters, sex shops, peep shows, strip clubs, host and hostess clubs, and adult service providers. They are sanctimonious persons, pietists, whited sepulchers, plaster saints, humbugs, pretender, deceivers, dissemblers, impostor, impersonators, phonies, Holy Willie’s, creeping Jesus, bluenoses, Tartuffes, Pecksniffs, and canters.” -Antonio Myers.

“Historically, Jesus has been distorted,
warped, corrupted, subverted, twisted, bender, abused, diverted, deflected, misapplied, misused, misrepresented, misinterpreted, misconstrued, falsified,
and garbled. The faith-based community fights over interfaith relationships, secular and faith-based relationships, religious text versions, religious texts, religious text translations, "White Jesus", "Black Jesus", religious text transliterations, and multiculturalism. Jesus doesn’t engage in such fights.” -Antonio Myers. “Many from the Baby Boomer generation are skipping church because of shifting priorities in later life, the digital divide impacts engagement, disenchantment with institutional religion, health and mobility concerns, political and social views clashing, generational shift in beliefs, economic factors, desire for community elsewhere, changes in family dynamics, lack of engaging content, increased travel and mobility, more focused on personal development, exhaustion with ritual, preference for solitude in spirituality, perception of church as outdated, quest for inclusivity, impact of the Internet.” -Bob Jameson. “Many people no longer want to go to church because they are seeking spiritual fulfillment elsewhere, perception of irrelevance, desire for inclusivity and acceptance, the rise of “the nones”, discomfort with organizational politics, financial expectations and obligations, the digital age and online communities, changing family dynamics and schedules, seeking authenticity and transparency, intellectual and theological curiosity, demand for rational and critical engagement, personal spirituality over organized religion, impact of technology and social media, shifts in social and moral values, desire for genuine community and connection, the need for flexibility and adaptability, cultural and religious pluralism.” -Jane Andrews. “The seventeen reasons for Christianity declining in America is because of rise of secularism, access to diverse philosophies, institutional failures and scandals, evolving social values, scientific and technological advances, interfaith relationships and multiculturalism, increased focus on individualism, critical examination of religious texts, perception of religion as irrelevant and outdated, desire for authenticity and personal connection, influence of New Age and alternative beliefs, disillusionment with religious exclusivity, impact of education and critical thinking, political and social polarization, shift toward experience over doctrine, influence of media and popular culture, personal trauma and negative church experiences.” -Jane Andrew’s. “Conflicts between faith and science, personal hardships or negative encounters with religious institutions, the enigma of evil and suffering, exposure to interfaith and multicultural perspectives, intellectual uncertainties and inquiries, yearning for freedom, social and cultural transformations, feeling disconnected or lacking a sense of belonging, seeking authenticity in their spiritual experience, the impact of secularism, family dynamics and its influence, evolving personal beliefs, social and political issues, exploring inclusivity, the impact of media and the abundance of information, seeking a sense of community, contemplating the nature of God, shifting life priorities are eighteen reasons why people stop being Christians.” -Jane Andrews.

My college traumatic experiences with The Religious Right in the Bible Belt (The U.S.A. Deep South within GOP Florida.) This is my very last church episode.

“The Christian right, otherwise referred to as the religious right, are Christian political factions characterized by their strong support of socially conservative and traditionalist policies.[3] Christian conservatives seek to influence politics and public policy with their interpretation of the teachings of Christianity.[7] In the United States, they oppose any interpretation of the Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution that implies a "separation of church and state", as they seek to use politics and the law to impose their conservative Christian beliefs on American society. In the United States, the Christian right is an informal coalition which was formed around a core of predominantly White conservative Evangelical Protestants and Roman Catholics.[11] The Christian right draws additional support from politically conservative mainline Protestants, Orthodox Jews, and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.[13] The movement has its roots in American politics going back as far as the 1940s; it has been especially influential since the 1970s.[18] Its influence draws from grassroots activism as well as from focus on social issues and the ability to motivate the electorate around those issues.[19] The Christian right is notable because it has advanced socially conservative positions on issues such as creationism in public education,[20] school prayer,[21] temperance,[22] Christian nationalism,[23] Christian Zionism,[2] and Sunday Sabbatarianism,[24] as well as opposition to biological evolution,[20] embryonic stem cell research,[25] LGBT rights,[27] comprehensive sex education,[28][29] abortion and euthanasia,[31] use of drugs,[2] and pornography.[32] Although the term Christian right is most commonly associated with politics in the United States,[2] similar Christian conservative groups can be found in the political cultures of other Christian-majority countries.[33] The Christian Right has engaged in battles over abortion, euthanasia, contraception, pornography, gambling, obscenity, Christian nationalism, Sunday Sabbatarianism (concerning Sunday blue laws), state sanctioned prayer in public schools, textbook contents (concerning creationism), homosexuality, and sexual education.[23][24] The Supreme Court's decision to make abortion a constitutionally protected right in the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling was the driving force behind the rise of the Christian Right in the 1970s.[53] Changing political context led to the Christian Right's advocacy for other issues, such as opposition to euthanasia and campaigning for abstinence-only sex education.[53] Ralph Reed, the chairman of the Christian Coalition, stated that the 1988 presidential campaign of Pat Robertson was the 'political crucible' that led to the proliferation of Christian Right groups in the United States.[53] Randall Balmer, on the other hand, has suggested that the New Christian Right Movement's rise was not centered around the issue of abortion, but rather Bob Jones University's refusal to comply with the Supreme Court's 1971 Green v. Connally ruling that permitted the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to collect penalty taxes from private religious schools that violated federal laws.[54].” -Wikipedia “The religious right in the red state of Florida said that anyone that opposed hitting, beating, whooping, popping, and spanking children should be hit, beat, whooped, popped, and spanked themselves. They used vulgar slurs against sex workers, bashed people who used swear words, verbally abused people for being divorced and remarried, insulted those who lived together outside of marriage, and attacked people who I didn’t believe in “sexual purity.” -Antonio Myers.

Using think tanks as crime prevention comrades (I ended the crime episodes peacefully speaking.)

“A think tank, or policy institute, is a research institute that performs research and advocacy concerning topics such as social policy, political strategy, economics, military, technology, and culture. Most think tanks are non-governmental organizations, but some are semi-autonomous agencies within government, and some are associated with particular political parties, businesses or the military.[1] Think tanks are often funded by individual donations, with many also accepting government grants.[2] Think tanks publish articles and studies, and sometimes draft legislation on particular matters of policy or society. This information is then used by governments, businesses, media organizations, social movements or other interest groups.[3][4] Think tanks range from those associated with highly academic or scholarly activities to those that are overtly ideological and pushing for particular policies, with a wide range among them in terms of the quality of their research. Later generations of think tanks have tended to be more ideologically oriented.[3].” -Wikipedia.

Mononormativity (my last episode about my marital status.)

Mononormativity (my last episode about my marital status.)

“In 2011, Elizabeth Brake first coined the term amatonormativity, to describe the overarching, culturally embedded belief that romantic relationships are essential to well-being.1 Heteronormativity refers to the assumption that all people are heterosexual and does not allow for individuals who hold diverse sexual orientations, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, or asexual, which describes people who experience no sexual attraction to others. Allonormativity describes the stereotype that all people experience some form of sexual attraction. Allonormative makes space for heterosexual attraction as well as alternative attractions including lesbian, gay, and bisexual. However, an allonormative view ignores the existence of asexual individuals.2 Cisnormative expectations refer to the construct of being cisgender, which is holding an identity that matches the sex a person was assigned at birth.3 Cisnormative beliefs do not make space for individuals whose identities reflect aspects of transgenderism. People who believe that individuals should have only a single, monogamous romantic partner at any given time support mononormativity.4 Both mononormativity and amatonormativity address expectations regarding the pursuit of romantic relationships, however, mononormativity is based on the assumption that all people are interested in romantic relationships. Sexual normativity refers to the assumption that all people experience sexual desire and seek opportunities to act on that desire.5 This concept is highly related to amatonormativity as they both create a culture in which the lack of interest in romantic or sexual relationships is seen as abnormal6.” -ChoosingTherapy.

My sex-positive feminism independent of the childhood traumas and recklessness of my past.

My sex-positive feminism independent of the childhood traumas and recklessness of my past.

“Sex-positive feminism, also known as pro-sex feminism, sex-radical feminism, or sexually liberal feminism, is a feminist movement centering on the idea that sexual freedom is an essential component of women's freedom.[1] They oppose legal or social efforts to control sexual activities between consenting adults, whether they are initiated by the government, other feminists, opponents of feminism, or any other institution. They embrace sexual minority groups, endorsing the value of coalition-building with marginalized groups. Sex-positive feminism is connected with the sex-positive movement. Sex-positive feminism brings together anti-censorship activists, LGBT activists, feminist scholars, producers of pornography and erotica, among others. Sex-positive feminists believe that prostitution can be a positive experience if workers are treated with respect, and agree that sex work should not be criminalized.” -Wikipedia. “The sex-positive movement is a social and philosophical movement that seeks to change cultural attitudes and norms around sexuality, promoting the recognition of sexuality (in the countless forms of expression) as a natural and healthy part of the human experience and emphasizing the importance of personal sovereignty, safer sex practices, and consensual sex (free from violence or coercion). It covers every aspect of sexual identity including gender expression, orientation, relationship to the body (body-positivity, nudity, choice), relationship-style choice, and reproductive rights.[1] {2] Sex-positivity is "an attitude towards human sexuality that regards all consensual sexual activities as fundamentally healthy and pleasurable, encouraging sexual pleasure and experimentation."[1] It challenges societal taboos and aims to promote healthy and consensual sexual activities.[3] The sex-positive movement also advocates for comprehensive sex education and safe sex as part of its campaign.[4][1] The movement generally makes no moral distinctions among types of sexual activities, regarding these choices as matters of personal preference.[5]” -Wikipedia.

How I would talk to kids about sex

How I would talk to kids about sex

“Because lying to your kids about sex helps nobody. Telling them that sex is "only between mommies and daddies" is a lie that leads to confused, hormone-charged teenagers. Telling them that sex is "only something that happens when two people love each other very much" is a lie that causes hormone-charged teenagers to confuse "love" with "lust," or "obsession." It leads to leaps of logic like, "If I have sex with this person, we must be in love." Or worse: "If I love this person, I have to have sex with him or her." And how many teenage tragedies are based on that misconception?
The truth is that human beings, almost universally, like sex. It feels good. And it's supposed to feel good. If it didn't, the human race would die out. The truth is that sex isn't special and magical just because it's sex. The truth is that you can have spectacular sex with strangers whose names you don't even know. The truth is that just because you can, that doesn't necessarily mean you should.
And that's what sex-positive parenting really is. Not telling my kids lies about sex to keep them from behaviors I don't think are healthy. It's telling them the truth, the whole truth, and letting it sink in so they can make their own good choices.
It's telling them that sex is good, but that it's dangerous if you're not careful. It's teaching them to require their partners to use condoms, to buy their own condoms if they're planning on having sex. It's teaching them that while sex feels good, they can feel good on their own too. (Just not at the table.) That while sex combined with love is often the best sex -- transcendent sex -- that grows the bond of love and builds a closeness that is almost impossible to find otherwise, sex isn't always like that, even with people you love. That sex can lead to pregnancy, even with protection, so engaging in it is a commitment to deal with any consequences.
It's telling them they're not wrong, or sinful, or bad, if they have sexual feelings. Or even if they have sex. It's teaching them that sex happens, whether people always make good choices or not. And it's giving them the tools to ensure that when they're ready, they're smart and cautious and conscientious.
There's a lot of black-and-white comparisons when it comes to sex education. Some people think that once kids hit puberty, if they don't have a strong fear of sex they'll have as much as they can, as often as they can. There's a lot of abstinence-only sex education, based on telling kids, "SEX IS SCARY! DON'T DO IT!" and it appears to be about the least successful program anyone has ever invented.
Telling children the truth about sex isn't giving permission for them to have it -- and this is the most important part -- because when the right time comes, nobody has the right to deny them permission for sex but themselves.” -https://www.huffpost.com/entry/this-is-what-sex-positive-parenting-really-looks-like_b_5516707/amp.

“Copyright infringement (at times referred to as piracy) is the use of works protected by copyright without permission for a usage where such permission is required, thereby infringing certain exclusive rights granted to the copyright holder, such as the right to reproduce, distribute, display or perform the protected work, or to make derivative works. The copyright holder is typically the work's creator, or a publisher or other business to whom copyright has been assigned. Copyright holders routinely invoke legal and technological measures to prevent and penalize copyright infringement. Copyright infringement disputes are usually resolved through direct negotiation, a notice and take down process, or litigation in civil court. Egregious or large-scale commercial infringement, especially when it involves counterfeiting, is sometimes prosecuted via the criminal justice system.” -Wikipedia.

My being an intimacy professional (intimacy expert) in the worlds of legal sex work environments and legal group sex environments.

"WHAT IS AN INTIMACY PROFESSIONAL?
Intimacy professionals for TV and film are experts on topics related to intimate material, including but not limited to sexuality, gender, relationships, and sex work. They are adept at telling the story of intimate moments on screen while keeping actors safe in the process. Intimacy professionals include intimacy coordinators, trans consultants, topic expert consultants, and choreographers. IPA is a network of knowledgeable intimacy professionals that promotes safe, high-quality work on topics of intimacy.

ETHICS
No actor should ever have to perform an intimate scene under duress. Historically it has not been uncommon for an actor to feel pressured to do more than the terms laid out in their nudity rider for fear of being fired or branded as being “difficult.” Intimacy coordinators ensure that content is being produced ethically by obtaining informed consent from actors regarding the level of nudity and simulated sex that characters will be engaging in. No actor is ever forced or pressured into doing something that makes them feel unsafe.
IPA members help to make sure scenes of intimacy and stories involving LGBTQIA+ (which stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual, and other identities) characters or characters who are involved in an intimacy-related field (such as sex work or erotic dancing) are being told authentically. Working with an IPA member can help to not only make scenes look more real, but also make sure the production is accurately portraying the groups or communities being shown on screen." -Intimacy Professionals Association.

My career/calling is the one and only reason why I choose not to be a family man. I am open to life changing that in the names of wisdom, clarity, and discernment.

“Due to my career also known as my calling, I decided to make the voluntary choices in regards to my marital status to not be married, to not have children, to not own pets, and to not live with anyone. I have the spiritual gift of singleness. However, I am open to life placing me in a family man role (spouse, offspring, pet, and living with all three in a singular residency. It is also possible that life may not put me in the family man role. Either way, I 💯 enjoy my life.” Antonio Myers.

Many women and I were talking about the serial cheating of our childhoods.

“Serial cheaters are people who cheat several times in an exclusive relationship or monogamous relationship. It is a pattern of cheating that can be seen whenever this person has a committed relationship. Infidelity can be physical or emotional. Serial cheaters do not have their partners’ consent, and they keep their partners in the dark about their unethical behavior. Unlike a one-time cheater, serial cheaters are rogues and cheat to satisfy their needs. It is challenging for them to change their behavior since they are confused about why it is a mistake.” -Written by Shikha Thakur, MBA.

"When you have a child with special needs, your marriage is much more likely to be stressed. This is demonstrated by the numbers: Surveys show that the rate of divorce in families with a child with disabilities may be as high as 87%. The divorce rate in families with a child with autism is about 80%.." _Divorce and Special Needs Children | Psychology Today.
"If the learning curve about autism is not shared, the divide can start here. Or it can start when the child doesn’t run up to daddy when he walks through the door at the end of the day. The mother feels guilty that she has done something wrong. Maybe dad feels rejected. Is this the cause for divorce? Or is it that the spouses already do not have an effective communication and commitment in place? Is one partner less committed to the marriage to begin with? Maybe someone read that autism causes divorce and the message deteriorates the confidence and strength we actually need in our relationships? These are but some of the questions that need to be asked prior to assuming that autism is the reason for higher divorce rates." -

"Don't Pass Judgment
It's easy to come in from the outside and judge another person's parenting choices, and single mothers often face scrutiny for having children outside of a traditional married couple.5
This behavior will not be welcomed or healthy for your relationship. Instead of passing judgment, do your best to acknowledge that being a single parent is very difficult, and try to view their choices and lifestyle from a place of helpfulness, compassion, restraint, and curiosity." _
Tips for Dating a Single Mom (verywellmind.com).

"But single Christians make up a large proportion of Christians, especially in their twenties and thirties. And single women are disproportionately represented, since women outnumber men in the church already.

One of the big reasons single women are often ostracized is that they are viewed as threats to men.
Men can’t look at single women because they have to “bounce their eyes” so they don’t stray.
Jesus didn’t act that way. Jesus didn’t ignore women or avoid women. Jesus sat in situations that would be socially unacceptable because He wanted people to see that He valued women as people–not as sexual commodities. He didn’t see them as threats to Him. He saw them as valuable individuals." -by Sheila Wray Gregoire.

I am called to cable news media, social media, media interviews, media events, black-owned media, YouTube, & running for public office due to the neurodiversity urging of autism families in dire need.

"Neurodiversity describes the idea that people experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways; there is no one "right" way of thinking, learning, and behaving, and differences are not viewed as deficits.
The word neurodiversity refers to the diversity of all people, but it is often used in the context of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as other neurological or developmental conditions such as ADHD or learning disabilities. The neurodiversity movement emerged during the 1990s, aiming to increase acceptance and inclusion of all people while embracing neurological differences. Through online platforms, more and more autistic people were able to connect and form a self-advocacy movement. At the same time, Judy Singer, an Australian sociologist, coined the term neurodiversity to promote equality and inclusion of "neurological minorities." While it is primarily a social justice movement, neurodiversity research and education is increasingly important in how clinicians view and address certain disabilities and neurological conditions." _

I have a pastor’s heart within my faith-based pastoral care…& I’ll be a secular humanist chaplain. I am called to the non-religious community and to houses of worship of all religions.

“Types of Pastoral Care Practices
There are various ways to practice pastoral care, including:

Premarital counseling: Premarital counseling helps to prepare couples for unity in marriage. Pastors may recommend Bible verses, books, articles, and discussion topics for couples to review and pray about as they plan their life together.
Weddings: Pastors performing weddings play the special role of celebrating and instituting a covenant relationship.
Hospital visits: Visits to hospitals and care facilities can help those who are sick or injured to feel supported and remembered by their church family.
Funerals: By facilitating funerals and caring for individuals and families in the grieving process, church leaders share the burdens of those experiencing the loss of human life.
Serving the community: Church leaders can lead their congregation in providing food, clothing, and other material needs—as well as community services and gatherings—for local neighbors. In meeting with and listening to the community, churches can better connect, share the gospel, and partner with their neighbors.
Birth and adoption celebrations: Meeting new parents with practical assistance like meals, diapers, financial resources, and childcare can help families care well for their children. Sustained support along the journey of parenting is another way that pastoral care can support families for long-term thriving.
Spiritual direction: This pastoral care practice involves prayerful companionship and discipleship that points a person to scripture and fosters spiritual growth. -https://calvinseminary.edu/blog/difference-pastoral-care-counseling/. “What is a Humanist Chaplain?
A Humanist Chaplain is a secular clergy person who provides comfort, guidance, and emotional support without relying on any religious doctrine or dogma. They also strive to promote reason, ethics, and compassion in the lives of those they serve. Humanist Chaplains usually have a staff position at universities, hospitals, prisons, or other settings where chaplains are typically present.
Why is the Role of Humanist Chaplain Important?
The role of a Humanist Chaplain is crucial as they provide emotional and moral support to individuals who identify as nonreligious (or anyone who wants it, regardless of their beliefs). They serve as a comforting presence offering guidance and counseling in times of crisis, grief, or ethical dilemmas. Their work helps to foster a sense of community and belonging among people who may feel isolated or misunderstood because of their secular beliefs. Humanist Chaplains contribute significantly to the diversity and inclusivity of moral and spiritual perspectives in society.” -https://nathanbweller.com/what-is-a-humanist-chaplain/.

“A white-collar worker is a person who performs professional service, desk, managerial, or administrative work. White-collar work may be performed in an office or other administrative setting. White-collar workers include job paths related to government, consulting, academia, accountancy, business and executive management, customer support, design, economics, engineering, market research, finance, human resources, operations research, marketing, public relations, information technology, networking, law, healthcare, architecture, and research and development. In contrast: blue-collar workers perform manual labor or work in skilled trades; pink-collar workers work in care, health care, social work, or teaching; and grey-collar jobs combine manual labor and skilled trades with non-manual or managerial duties. A blue-collar worker is a working class person who performs manual labor or skilled trades. Blue-collar work may involve skilled or unskilled labor. The type of work may involve manufacturing, warehousing, mining, excavation, carpentry, electricity generation and power plant operations, electrical construction and maintenance, custodial work, farming, commercial fishing, logging, landscaping, pest control, food processing, oil field work, waste collection and disposal, recycling, construction, maintenance, shipping, driving, trucking, and many other types of physical work. Blue-collar work often involves something being physically built or maintained. A pink-collar worker is someone working in the care-oriented career field or in fields historically considered to be women's work. This may include jobs in the beauty industry, nursing, social work, teaching, secretarial work, upholstery, or child care.[1] While these jobs may also be filled by men, they have historically been female-dominated (a tendency that continues today, though to a somewhat lesser extent) and may pay significantly less than white-collar or blue-collar jobs.[2].” -Wikipedia.

I was forced to spend most of my boyhood time (5 years old-6 years old) in the infamous red-light district Washington D.C. (14th Street NW, Logan Circle.) due to the women sex workers' "thing" for me.

“In the 1970s and 1980s, a portion of 14th Street became known primarily for its red-light district. Several strip clubs and massage parlors were concentrated roughly between New York Avenue and K Street, while prostitutes plied their trade around Logan Circle. However, rising land values eventually pushed out the adult businesses. The Source Theatre, founded by Bart Whiteman in 1977, was given some credit for the area's revival. Whiteman stood outside the theater to escort people inside in order to make them feel safer.[5] During the 1980s and 1990s, Logan Circle, although dominated by Victorian homes that had survived mostly untouched by redevelopment or riots, was considered an unsafe neighborhood by many due to overt drug use and prostitution that existed in the neighborhood.[17][18] During this period, property values in the area began to increase, but issues of homelessness in the area came to the forefront. Fourteenth Street, NW became widely viewed as Washington's red light district. It also became an area for small, independent theater companies that acquired relatively cheap space north of the circle.” -Wikipedia. “I sat on the benches, walked on the streets, moved on the grass, and roamed the parks within Logan Circle, Shaw neighborhood, The U Street Corridor, and 14th Street NW in Washington D.C. as a five-year old in the late 1990’s. I frequently encountered, conversed with, saw the sex work, saw the sex workers, and hung out with pimps, brothel keepers, clients, customers, madams, procurers, and panderers the most in Logan Circle, The Shaw neighborhood, The U Street Corridor, and 14th Street NW at that time. I saw pimping, brothel keeping, madaming, procuring, pandering, customering, and clienteling the most at Logan Circle, 14th Street NW, Shaw neighborhood, and The U Street Corridor.” Antonio Myers. “Procuring, pimping, or pandering is the facilitation or provision of a prostitute or other sex worker in the arrangement of a sex act with a customer.[1] A procurer, colloquially called a pimp (if male) or a madam (if female, though the term pimp has often been used for female procurers as well) or a brothel keeper, is an agent for prostitutes who collects part of their earnings. The procurer may receive this money in return for advertising services, physical protection, or for providing and possibly monopolizing a location where the prostitute may solicit clients. Like prostitution, the legality of certain actions of a madam or a pimp vary from one region to the next.” -Wikipedia.

Biblical black folks (final episode on The Bible.) Jesus, the child advocate and women’s advocate.

Biblical black folks (final episode on The Bible.) Jesus, the child advocate and women’s advocate.

“The main reason for studying the black presence in the Bible is because if we can't accept that our Bible is a multicultural book, how can we accept multicultural churches? It is difficult to see the black presence in the Bible because you won’t read the terms black or African but you will read the terms Ethiopians, Cushites, Egyptians, Hebrews, or other tribal terms. Ethiopia is mentioned 45 times in the Bible; add this to the number of times Egypt is mentioned, and Africa is mentioned more than any other landmass in the Bible. It should also be noted that the "Middle East," including the Holy Land was connected to Africa until 1859 when the Suez Canal was completed and had been referred to North East Africa for the majority of modern history.

From Genesis to Revelation there is a great deal of proof that blacks are present throughout the Bible:

In the Hebrew, Adam (or Ahdahm) is defined as swarthy, dusky, reddish-brown soil, dark-skinned like a shadow. Aphar: The soil from which Adham was made, meaning: dust, clay, always very black or very dark brown in color. (The Biblical History of Black Mankind by C. McGhee Livers)
The Garden of Eden was described in Genesis as having been near a four-river system in the region of the lands of Cush, Havilah, and Asshur, which today would be near the borders of Eastern Sudan, Ethiopia, and Eritrea. The birthplace of humanity was confirmed when the oldest human remains were found in Ethiopia in 1974. Science and the Bible are often at odds, but one thing both confirm is that the birthplace of humanity was in East Africa. (Eden: The Biblical Garden Discovered in East Africa by Gert Muller)
Many of the Hebrew patriarchs married or had children with women from African tribes. Abraham had children with Hagar and Keturah both from African (Hamitic) tribes. Moses married Zippora, who was Ethiopian. Jacob had children with two handmaidens from African tribes, and these children became the patriarchs of two tribes of Israel. Studying the black presence in the Bible can open the door to discussions about racial justice and dispel the myth that the Bible is the "white man's book." It is this myth that has kept many people of color from the gospel. By whitewashing the Bible, we prevent future generations from experiencing the beauty of the biblical text. Black people should know that they have always played a central role in God’s plan for humanity and were not an afterthought of the creator.” -https://sojo.net/articles/faith-action/black-presence-bible-uncovering-hidden-ones.

I follow Jesus who is black, person of color, neurodiverse, neurodivergent, autistic, Jewish, refugee, immigrant, flirt, husband, father, dancer, social drinker, life of the party, and party animal.

“The sense that each of them is gently teasing the other, and each enjoying the matching of wits. For all of the interesting people Jesus meets in John, I think this individual is the most interesting and that’s part of why this story is there in the Gospel. There’s a word game. A kind of “He said – She said”. The Samaritan woman starts by using the literal meaning of words and Jesus starts by using the symbolic meaning, and then, just when you realize what they’re doing, they both switch and do the opposite. It takes two people to do that, and to enjoy it. I can almost imagine Jesus smiling at the joke when the woman talks to him. And her smiling back.
In short, maybe these two liked each other.
Give me some water, says Jesus. Clear enough. He wants the wet liquid. You’re a Jew, she answers. Theological. She’s stalling. If only you knew, I’d give you living water, he says. Wait a minute – all of a sudden we’re not exactly talking about H2O anymore. Give me some of that living water that ends thirst, says the woman, and I won’t need to haul it up the hill. Making fun of Jesus and his flipping back and forth…just a little. Water, water, water, and water, but not the same meaning each time. Literal, figurative, symbolic, real – lots of the double entendres that are characteristic of flirting, and all in only a couple of verses!” -https://unsettledwords.com/2014/03/21/did-jesus-flirt/. The DEIB Jesus (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) is The Christ figure to me. He's for Egalitarianism and equalitarianism.

“Diversity refers to the presence of variety within the organizational workforce, such as in identity and identity politics. It includes gender, culture, ethnicity, religion, disability, class, age or opinion.[2][15] Equity refers to concepts of fairness and justice, such as fair compensation and substantive equality.[15] More specifically, equity usually also includes a focus on societal disparities and allocating resources and "decision making authority to groups that have historically been disadvantaged",[16] and taking "into consideration a person's unique circumstances, adjusting treatment accordingly so that the end result is equal."[2] Finally, inclusion refers to creating an organizational culture that creates an experience where "all employees feel their voices will be heard",[2] and a sense of belonging and integration.[15][17]. Egalitarianism (from French égal 'equal'), or equalitarianism,[1][2] is a school of thought within political philosophy that builds on the concept of social equality, prioritizing it for all people.[3] Egalitarian doctrines are generally characterized by the idea that all humans are equal in fundamental worth or moral status.[4] As such, all citizens of a state should be accorded equal rights and treatment under the law.[5][6] Egalitarian doctrines have supported many modern social movements, including the Enlightenment, feminism, civil rights, and international human rights.[7]” -Wikipedia.

The sexual assaults against Jesus, the bodily harm against Jesus, Biblical misogyny, & Biblical people with disabilities.

The sexual assaults against Jesus, the bodily harm against Jesus, Biblical misogyny, & Biblical people with disabilities.

“Roman crucifixions sought to degrade and dehumanise their victims in ways that destroyed their dignity and stigmatised their memory. Paul speaks of the cross as a ‘scandal’ or ‘stumbling block’, but the significance of this language has never been explored in terms of sexual violence. The Crucifixion of Jesus examines crucifixion as a form of torture, state terror, and sexual abuse. It reads recent accounts of torture alongside the presentation of crucifixion in the Passion narratives and other Greek and Roman sources.

Outlining compelling reasons for viewing Jesus as a victim of sexual abuse, it examines why this unsettling aspect of the narrative has remained ‘hidden in plain sight’ for so long, and what place it might have in discussions of rape culture past and present. It also asks whether other acts of sexual violence and rape might have happened during the mockery in the praetorium, or even on the cross itself. It argues that although the acknowledgement of this ‘unspeakable violence’ is deeply disturbing, breaking the silence can nonetheless have constructive consequences.

In addition to offering a more historical understanding of crucifixion, this book illuminates positive new aspects of resurrection, making it a probing read for scholars of biblical studies and for those interested in the interplay of religion and violence.” -https://www.taylorfrancis.com/books/oa-mono/10.4324/9780429289750/crucifixion-jesus-david-tombs.

Autism presence in The Bible

“So, here are 10 more signs he was not a neurotypical: Non-conformist Dislike of authority and hierarchy Low regard of tradition Disregard of social rules High in honesty and humility Highly egalitarian Highly out-group social Stands up for the bullied and underdogs Very accepting of diversity in general (liberal) Non-materialistic and idealistic. In the style of popular blog posts, here are my favourite 10 indications that Jesus was on the spectrum: He went missing as a child and was found debating with wise men He had a temper tantrum/meltdown in the temple To her face, he called his mum “Woman” (lack of social etiquette and empathy) He had an encyclopedic knowledge of scripture (special interest) Had no respect for authority. In fact, he changed the authoritarian God of the Old Testament into a loving and forgiving God “I am not of this world (John 8:23) — wrong planet syndrome Frequent fasting: might have been a sign of gastrointestinal problems total isolation from society (“into the desert”) He slept less: “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.” His father (Joseph) was originally believed to be elderly when he married Mary and wasn’t alive by the time Jesus was a young adult (only accompanied by his mother).” -Andreas Hofer.

“Jesus is a refugee and an immigrant so he empathizes with DACA. Plus folks tried to push him off of a cliff, tried to stone him, so life is not sugar and rainbows for him. Jesus feels that it is shameful that lack of love is often easy to justify, even though it is never right in his sight. He feels that our neighbor is anyone of any race, creed, or social background who is in need. He also feels that love means acting to meet the person’s need.” -Antonio Myers.

Joseph: A Male Sexual Abuse Survivor In The Bible by Ashley Easter (my final church episode.)

Joseph: A Male Sexual Abuse Survivor In The Bible by Ashley Easter (my final church episode.)

“In the Bible we find many stories of abuse and sexual abuse of women, but did you know there are also stories of sexual abuse and sexual harassment of men?

There is the well known story of Sodom and Gomorrah where the Angels, who were perceived to be men, were sexually harassed by the men of the city who wished to violently gang-rape them. Lott took them into his home for safety but tragically offered his daughters to be gang-raped instead. Thankfully the Angels did not allow the young women to be abused in this way. This story is nearly identical to the story of the gang-raped concubine in Judges 19 where the men of the city all gathered with violence on their minds. The only major difference is the concubine was a woman (not a man) and she was raped (not spared like the male Angels).

There were also practices in the Roman empire common in the New Testament times were boys and male slaves could be sexually abused by their owner, master, or benefactor without legal repercussion because they were of a lesser status (this is called pederasty). Some scholars believe that the greek words arsenokoitai and malakoi in 1 Corinthians 6:9 are specifically speaking out against these predatory practices of sexual abuse where a dominant, high status man (viewed as masculine by patriarchal society) would sexually abuse a young boy or slave (seen as “effeminate” because of their lesser power in their patriarchal society). (1)

I have mentioned before that Jesus, who came to earth as a man, experienced a form of sexual abuse on the cross as well. Forced stripping and forced public nakedness falls under the definition of sexual abuse.” -https://www.ashleyeaster.com/blog/male-sexual-abuse-survivor-in-the-bible.
