I am thriving in healing the religion experience of my life.
What is Religious Trauma Syndrome? Religious Trauma Syndrome (RTS) is a term used to describe the negative mental health effects of unhealthy or harmful religious experiences. It is a form of psychological trauma that can result from the harmful effects of religious indoctrination, abuse, or manipulation. RTS can occur when an individual struggles with leaving a religion or a set of beliefs that has led to their indoctrination. It often involves the trauma of breaking away from a controlling environment, lifestyle, or religious figure.
RTS can have a significant impact on an individual’s mental and emotional well-being. The symptoms of RTS can be similar to those of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and can include anxiety, depression, panic attacks, flashbacks, and nightmares. Individuals with RTS may also experience feelings of guilt, shame, and worthlessness.
The mental health profession is becoming increasingly aware of the impact of religious trauma, and more therapists are trained to recognize and treat RTS. It is essential to seek help from a qualified mental health professional if you are experiencing symptoms of RTS. Therapy can help you process your experiences, develop coping skills, and work towards healing and recovery.
If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms of RTS, it is crucial to remember that you are not alone. Many individuals have experienced religious trauma and have found healing and recovery through therapy and support groups. With the right help and support, it is possible to overcome the negative effects of religious trauma and live a fulfilling life.” -https://www.sabinorecovery.com/what-is-religious-trauma-syndrome/#:~:text=RTS%20can%20occur%20when%20an,%2C%20lifestyle%2C%20or%20religious%20figure.
I am a secular values voter who embraces religious pluralism.
Individuals have the legal rights and de facto freedoms to worship, believe, practice, and join in community with others according to their conscience. Individuals are also able to abstain from these activities. In the U.S., these rights and freedoms are guaranteed by the Establishment and Free Exercise Clauses of the First Amendment;
Individuals and communities protect their own and others’ rights and freedoms to worship, believe, practice, and join in community with others, or not, according to their conscience;
Individuals and communities protect each others’ safety to worship; and
Communities engage with each other, acknowledging areas of deep and irreconcilable difference, but focused on areas of common ground.
And finally, since religious pluralism does not happen without sustained and diverse religious communities:
Diverse religious communities themselves thrive, meaning leadership is good, community institutions are sustainable, community ties remain strong, and congregants know the basic theological content of their own traditions.
What is religious pluralism NOT?
Religious pluralism is not:
The simple fact of religious diversity in a society
A synchronistic mix of religious beliefs that pares down theological ideas to the lowest common denominator
Religious belief being prioritized over non-belief.” -Aspen Institute. “Who Are Secular Voters?
Religiously unaffiliated (“nonreligious”) Americans are the largest and fastest growing religious demographic in the country. While the nonreligious are a diverse group who span the political spectrum, these Americans are united on key political issues.
According to the 2015 Pew Religious Landscape Survey, the nonreligious overwhelmingly support legal access to abortion (73%) and same-sex marriage (78%) compared to evangelicals who oppose those same policies by smaller margins (63% and 64%, respectively).
Similarly, a 2016 Public Religion Research Institute poll found that 71% of the nonreligious oppose religiously-based service refusals compared to only 56% of evangelicals who support that same policy.
Despite recent trends, secular voters continue to be severely underrepresented in government. According to an analysis by the Pew Research Center, while the nonreligious comprise nearly one-quarter of all Americans, they comprise only just 0.2% of the 115th Congress. That means there are 100 times as many religiously unaffiliated Americans as there are religiously unaffiliated Members of Congress. We are determined to change that by mobilizing a voting bloc united by shared secular values and investing in strategic programs that empower secular values voters to be active, influential players in the electoral process.” -Secular Coalition of America.

Professional cuddling, & being paid to give sex tips to adults while they have sex in my presence.
As a Professional Cuddler, I:
Before sessions I will make clear to the client any fees that I will charge for my service. I will ensure that all interpersonal transactions between the client and myself are non-exploitative and directly relevant to their care.
I will refrain from selling any product or other service to the client during sessions.
Ensure that clients understand the platonic nature of the service before working with them.
Agree not to pursue sexual arousal, or sexual interaction with my cuddler within or outside of sessions.
If you would like to develop a sexual relationship with a client, all professional cuddling interaction must stop. Best practice is to maintain a set period of no contact before beginning such a relationship.
Model the communication of personal boundaries and what I find comfortable throughout each session.
Refrain from any use of any substance that would prevent me from being fully present and mindful during a session.
Make the physical and mental well-being of each client a primary consideration in all decisions and interactions.
Practice respectful personal hygiene.
Disclose any illness or conditions that may be contagious before interacting with clients in person.
Interact with clients within the limits of my competence. To the best of my ability, recognize when clients require care that is beyond my capability to provide, and attempt to refer clients to appropriate health care professionals when necessary.” www.snugglewithsam.com/code.

My lengthy history of protecting women and protecting sex workers
“We have chosen to advocate for the decriminalization of all aspects of consensual adult sex - sex work that does not involve coercion, exploitation or abuse. This is based on evidence and the real-life experience of sex workers themselves that criminalization makes them less safe.” – Amnesty International
Sex Worker Rights Defined
Sex workers are entitled to live free of discrimination, stigma, and violence. As all people, their rights to life, health, privacy, and bodily autonomy should not be infringed upon. Sex worker rights have generally focused on decriminalizing sex work as a tool to ensure fair treatment.
Human Rights Framework
Human rights are inalienable rights, which all people are entitled to by virtue of their status as human beings. Various international human rights principles and legal instruments have been generated through the United Nations in order to put forth state obligations to protect and honor those rights. Although the
United States has not signed and ratified most of the international human rights treaties, advocates have called for the application of a human rights framework domestically.
Importance
Folks engaged in the sex trade are faced with pervasive violence, stigma, and discrimination, which consequently limit the ways in which many sex workers navigate the world. Recognizing the rights of sex workers as human rights not only affirms the dignity and humanity of sex workers as indeed, workers but also recognizes them as human beings and rights holders beyond the context of their work. Folks in the sex trade have needs and desires outside of their occupation that we must also center and support.
The systemic oppression many sex workers encounter, and very often without legal recourse, is compounded for racial and sexual minorities, folks with histories of drug use and criminal system involvement, persons living with HIV, people from immigrant backgrounds, etc. Criminalization exacerbates marginalization and work- related safety and health hazards. Creating pathways for folks in the sex trade to assert their rights through the decriminalization of sex work can improve life outcomes and center their voices.
Applying the Framework
A rights based approach is an evidence-based approach. Research has shown that supporting sex worker rights is the best way to promote safety and health and shift law enforcement resources towards violent crime.
HIPS recognizes the agency and individual power of the populations we serve. To provide compassionate harm reduction services and advocacy, we aspire to be non-judgmental and non-coercive. We recognize that there are a variety of reasons why folks engage in the sex trade. We also recognize the harms associated with sex work due to its criminalization—laws have the power to constrain a person’s ability to survive and thrive safely.
Advancing the human rights of our clients requires us to challenge laws that criminalize their livelihoods while simultaneously challenging the lack of resources made available to sex workers and advocates. Review our Sex Work Policies document for more information about local laws and policies in the District of Columbia we can change to better support folks in the sex trade.
In July 2015, Amnesty International announced, that following two years of research and consultations, it would be voting to develop a policy respecting the human rights of sex workers by advocating for the decriminalization of sex work globally.
HIPS stands in solidarity with the push for decriminalization, in recognition of the rights of sex workers and the role of decriminalization in securing those rights.
HIPS is a harm reduction service provider and advocacy organization providing support to persons impacted by sexual exchange and/or drug use in the District of Columbia. For more information about HIPS, visit www.hips.org.” -https://www.hips.org/uploads/6/2/2/9/62290383/hips_statement_swrights.pdf
My last episode talking about sexuality and disability of my past.
Faith is a gray area for me as the gray area thinker that I am.
Many existentialists considered traditional systematic or academic philosophies, in style and content, to be too abstract and removed from concrete human experience.[6][7] A primary virtue in existentialist thought is authenticity.[8] Existentialism would influence many disciplines outside of philosophy, including theology, drama, art, literature, and psychology.[9]
Existentialist philosophy encompasses a range of perspectives, but it shares certain underlying concepts. Among these, a central tenet of existentialism is that personal freedom, individual responsibility, and deliberate choice are essential to the pursuit of self-discovery and the determination of life's meaning.[10]” -Wikipedia.

I can’t do the 24/7 family man life and the 24/7 assisting the needy life simultaneously. I am a confirmed bachelor, I do self-parenting, I am my own roommate, and I am my own janitor (without a pet.)
“I choose the twenty-four hours, seven days a week, round-the clock assistance of the needy, which means I do solo living (forgoing marriage, forgoing children, forgoing pet-owning, and forgoing the roommate lifestyle of the daily basis nature.) Forgoing simply means no. Confirmed bachelor means never marrying, Self-parenting means I don't reproduce (not ever making a baby and not ever making babies), Being my own roommate means I choose to live physically by myself, and being my own janitor means that I'm not taming a creature of my own. I enjoy the healthy interruptions to my schedule because I see them as the reason for my callings and my purposes.” -Antonio Myers.
I am open to the family man life because I am called to relationships, families, and romance.
I plan to do social equality/social equity work with secular entities, unbelievers, and non-believers. I mostly don't attend houses of worship because I truly am the most needed by the secular world.
Formal equality: equal opportunity for individuals based on merit.
Substantive equality: equality of outcomes for groups, also called social equity.” -Wikipedia. “Social equity is concerned with justice and fairness of social policy. Since the 1960s, the concept of social equity has been used in a variety of institutional contexts, including education and public administration. Equity within a society is different from social equality because it takes into account the individual differences that people may have when seeking an equal outcome. Equity describes equal outcomes for groups, also called substantive equality.[1] For example, person A may have no difficulty walking, person B may be able to walk but with some difficulty, whilst person C may be unable to walk at all. Equality would be providing each of those three people with the same opportunities or aids. Per our example, if persons A, B, and C receive a wheelchair, this is a form of equality. Equity, on the other hand, would look different from equality because it would instead cater to each individual's differing needs. For the same example, person A may not receive any aids, person B may receive a walking stick, whilst person C may receive an electric wheelchair.” -Wikipedia.

“I am not a tormentor foe of houses of worship, I am a true friend of houses of worship. I recognize that I must be prophetic in the four walls and more than four walls. Prophetic means orderliness instituted for those who face institutional discrimination such as I.” -Antonio Myers.
"Social justice is justice in relation to a fair balance in the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society where individuals' rights are recognized and protected.[1] In Western and Asian cultures, the concept of social justice has often referred to the process of ensuring that individuals fulfill their societal roles and receive their due from society.[2][3][4] In the current movements for social justice, the emphasis has been on the breaking of barriers for social mobility, the creation of safety nets, and economic justice.[5][6][7][8][9]. Social justice assigns rights and duties in the institutions of society, which enables people to receive the basic benefits and burdens of cooperation. The relevant institutions often include taxation, social insurance, public health, public school, public services, labor law and regulation of markets, to ensure distribution of wealth, and equal opportunity.[10]" -Wikipedia.
My guest Sandy Phillips Kirkham and I discussed The Tragedy of Clergy Abuse, The Contamination of the Church, The Understanding of the Difficulty of Speaking Out, and The Journey of Healing.
Sandy Phillips Kirkham details her account of how a charismatic youth minister preyed upon her, a betrayal which left her broken, with a shattered faith, and the ultimate shame of being blamed and forced from the church she loved. From their very first meeting, the new youth minister slowly and methodically turned the sacred relationship of a trusted spiritual leader to one of abuse: sexual, emotional, and physical. When his actions were discovered, he was simply moved to another church, leaving Sandy to pay for his deeds. She was not his first victim, nor would she be his last.
Despite a successful and happy life as a wife, mother, and friend, Sandy successfully concealed her abuse for twenty-seven years until a trigger forced her to face the truth. Sandy’s story will take you on her journey of healing which began in 2004, first by seeking justice and closure from both the pastor and the church. Her strength and courage will inspire you. Let Me Prey Upon You details Sandy’s journey from innocent sixteen-year-old victim to survivor and advocate." -Let Me Prey Upon You - Sandy Phillips Kirkham, Author.

My final episode on intimacy professionalism and sex surrogacy
Surrogate partner therapy can include mutual nudity and two-way touch, as well as manual, oral sex or sexual intercourse. While other forms of sexual help – like experiential sex coaching or therapy can be accessed directly – surrogate partner therapy can only be accessed through a recommendation and ongoing work with a licensed psychotherapist. The therapist, client, and surrogate are thought of as a three-person therapeutic team. The function of the sex surrogate is to engage with the client in exercises to help them become more comfortable and adept at sexual and emotional intimacy.
Who Should See a Sex Surrogate?
A sex surrogate or surrogate partner therapy is often recommended by a therapist to clients who have a very high level of sexual dysfunction or interpersonal inhibition. These clients need to practice with a partner in a more structured environment to help them overcome their sexual challenges. These challenges might include sexual dysfunctions such as erectile dysfunction, pain during penetration, early ejaculation, or inability to orgasm. Surrogate partner therapy can also help if you are highly anxious sexually, have disabilities that make it more challenging to have sex, or have little or no experience with sex.
What is Sexual Surrogate Therapy?
In the initial consultation, you and your surrogate will get to know one another, begin to build rapport and make sure that surrogate partner therapy is right for you. After that, a step-by-step process begins where you and the sex surrogate communicate through each progressive step of intimacy and touch. One main tool of surrogacy is sensate focus, initially developed by Masters and Johnson. Sensate focus is meant to enhance relaxation, lower anxiety, and help you stay in touch with your sensations and arousal. Sex surrogates also help you process emotions around issues with sex and intimacy.
As you move through the phases of the therapy, you may practice back-and-forth touch. Your surrogate starts with the hands, then you might move to the face or other parts of the clothed body. In ongoing sessions, your sex surrogate will take time to educate you about sexual comfort, relaxation, touch, and best practices. You will slowly remove more clothing, learning to give and receive touch on all the different parts of your own and your surrogate’s body. Any oral sex or intercourse you have with your practitioner will be guided by safer sex practices.” -https://www.sexcoaching.com/types-of-therapy/what-is-a-sex-surrogate/

Jesus doesn’t engage in such fights.” -Antonio Myers. “Many from the Baby Boomer generation are skipping church because of shifting priorities in later life, the digital divide impacts engagement, disenchantment with institutional religion, health and mobility concerns, political and social views clashing, generational shift in beliefs, economic factors, desire for community elsewhere, changes in family dynamics, lack of engaging content, increased travel and mobility, more focused on personal development, exhaustion with ritual, preference for solitude in spirituality, perception of church as outdated, quest for inclusivity, impact of the Internet.” -Bob Jameson. “Many people no longer want to go to church because they are seeking spiritual fulfillment elsewhere, perception of irrelevance, desire for inclusivity and acceptance, the rise of “the nones”, discomfort with organizational politics, financial expectations and obligations, the digital age and online communities, changing family dynamics and schedules, seeking authenticity and transparency, intellectual and theological curiosity, demand for rational and critical engagement, personal spirituality over organized religion, impact of technology and social media, shifts in social and moral values, desire for genuine community and connection, the need for flexibility and adaptability, cultural and religious pluralism.” -Jane Andrews. “The seventeen reasons for Christianity declining in America is because of rise of secularism, access to diverse philosophies, institutional failures and scandals, evolving social values, scientific and technological advances, interfaith relationships and multiculturalism, increased focus on individualism, critical examination of religious texts, perception of religion as irrelevant and outdated, desire for authenticity and personal connection, influence of New Age and alternative beliefs, disillusionment with religious exclusivity, impact of education and critical thinking, political and social polarization, shift toward experience over doctrine, influence of media and popular culture, personal trauma and negative church experiences.” -Jane Andrew’s. “Conflicts between faith and science, personal hardships or negative encounters with religious institutions, the enigma of evil and suffering, exposure to interfaith and multicultural perspectives, intellectual uncertainties and inquiries, yearning for freedom, social and cultural transformations, feeling disconnected or lacking a sense of belonging, seeking authenticity in their spiritual experience, the impact of secularism, family dynamics and its influence, evolving personal beliefs, social and political issues, exploring inclusivity, the impact of media and the abundance of information, seeking a sense of community, contemplating the nature of God, shifting life priorities are eighteen reasons why people stop being Christians.” -Jane Andrews.
My college traumatic experiences with The Religious Right in the Bible Belt (The U.S.A. Deep South within GOP Florida.) This is my very last church episode.
“The Christian right, otherwise referred to as the religious right, are Christian political factions characterized by their strong support of socially conservative and traditionalist policies.[3] Christian conservatives seek to influence politics and public policy with their interpretation of the teachings of Christianity.[7] In the United States, they oppose any interpretation of the Establishment Clause of the U.S. Constitution that implies a "separation of church and state", as they seek to use politics and the law to impose their conservative Christian beliefs on American society. In the United States, the Christian right is an informal coalition which was formed around a core of predominantly White conservative Evangelical Protestants and Roman Catholics.[11] The Christian right draws additional support from politically conservative mainline Protestants, Orthodox Jews, and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.[13] The movement has its roots in American politics going back as far as the 1940s; it has been especially influential since the 1970s.[18] Its influence draws from grassroots activism as well as from focus on social issues and the ability to motivate the electorate around those issues.[19] The Christian right is notable because it has advanced socially conservative positions on issues such as creationism in public education,[20] school prayer,[21] temperance,[22] Christian nationalism,[23] Christian Zionism,[2] and Sunday Sabbatarianism,[24] as well as opposition to biological evolution,[20] embryonic stem cell research,[25] LGBT rights,[27] comprehensive sex education,[28][29] abortion and euthanasia,[31] use of drugs,[2] and pornography.[32] Although the term Christian right is most commonly associated with politics in the United States,[2] similar Christian conservative groups can be found in the political cultures of other Christian-majority countries.[33] The Christian Right has engaged in battles over abortion, euthanasia, contraception, pornography, gambling, obscenity, Christian nationalism, Sunday Sabbatarianism (concerning Sunday blue laws), state sanctioned prayer in public schools, textbook contents (concerning creationism), homosexuality, and sexual education.[23][24] The Supreme Court's decision to make abortion a constitutionally protected right in the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling was the driving force behind the rise of the Christian Right in the 1970s.[53] Changing political context led to the Christian Right's advocacy for other issues, such as opposition to euthanasia and campaigning for abstinence-only sex education.[53] Ralph Reed, the chairman of the Christian Coalition, stated that the 1988 presidential campaign of Pat Robertson was the 'political crucible' that led to the proliferation of Christian Right groups in the United States.[53] Randall Balmer, on the other hand, has suggested that the New Christian Right Movement's rise was not centered around the issue of abortion, but rather Bob Jones University's refusal to comply with the Supreme Court's 1971 Green v. Connally ruling that permitted the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to collect penalty taxes from private religious schools that violated federal laws.[54].” -Wikipedia “The religious right in the red state of Florida said that anyone that opposed hitting, beating, whooping, popping, and spanking children should be hit, beat, whooped, popped, and spanked themselves. They used vulgar slurs against sex workers, bashed people who used swear words, verbally abused people for being divorced and remarried, insulted those who lived together outside of marriage, and attacked people who I didn’t believe in “sexual purity.” -Antonio Myers.
Using think tanks as crime prevention comrades (I ended the crime episodes peacefully speaking.)
“A think tank, or policy institute, is a research institute that performs research and advocacy concerning topics such as social policy, political strategy, economics, military, technology, and culture. Most think tanks are non-governmental organizations, but some are semi-autonomous agencies within government, and some are associated with particular political parties, businesses or the military.[1] Think tanks are often funded by individual donations, with many also accepting government grants.[2] Think tanks publish articles and studies, and sometimes draft legislation on particular matters of policy or society. This information is then used by governments, businesses, media organizations, social movements or other interest groups.[3][4] Think tanks range from those associated with highly academic or scholarly activities to those that are overtly ideological and pushing for particular policies, with a wide range among them in terms of the quality of their research. Later generations of think tanks have tended to be more ideologically oriented.[3].” -Wikipedia.

How I would talk to kids about sex
The truth is that human beings, almost universally, like sex. It feels good. And it's supposed to feel good. If it didn't, the human race would die out. The truth is that sex isn't special and magical just because it's sex. The truth is that you can have spectacular sex with strangers whose names you don't even know. The truth is that just because you can, that doesn't necessarily mean you should.
And that's what sex-positive parenting really is. Not telling my kids lies about sex to keep them from behaviors I don't think are healthy. It's telling them the truth, the whole truth, and letting it sink in so they can make their own good choices.
It's telling them that sex is good, but that it's dangerous if you're not careful. It's teaching them to require their partners to use condoms, to buy their own condoms if they're planning on having sex. It's teaching them that while sex feels good, they can feel good on their own too. (Just not at the table.) That while sex combined with love is often the best sex -- transcendent sex -- that grows the bond of love and builds a closeness that is almost impossible to find otherwise, sex isn't always like that, even with people you love. That sex can lead to pregnancy, even with protection, so engaging in it is a commitment to deal with any consequences.
It's telling them they're not wrong, or sinful, or bad, if they have sexual feelings. Or even if they have sex. It's teaching them that sex happens, whether people always make good choices or not. And it's giving them the tools to ensure that when they're ready, they're smart and cautious and conscientious.
There's a lot of black-and-white comparisons when it comes to sex education. Some people think that once kids hit puberty, if they don't have a strong fear of sex they'll have as much as they can, as often as they can. There's a lot of abstinence-only sex education, based on telling kids, "SEX IS SCARY! DON'T DO IT!" and it appears to be about the least successful program anyone has ever invented.
Telling children the truth about sex isn't giving permission for them to have it -- and this is the most important part -- because when the right time comes, nobody has the right to deny them permission for sex but themselves.” -https://www.huffpost.com/entry/this-is-what-sex-positive-parenting-really-looks-like_b_5516707/amp.

My being an intimacy professional (intimacy expert) in the worlds of legal sex work environments and legal group sex environments.
Intimacy professionals for TV and film are experts on topics related to intimate material, including but not limited to sexuality, gender, relationships, and sex work. They are adept at telling the story of intimate moments on screen while keeping actors safe in the process. Intimacy professionals include intimacy coordinators, trans consultants, topic expert consultants, and choreographers. IPA is a network of knowledgeable intimacy professionals that promotes safe, high-quality work on topics of intimacy.
ETHICS
No actor should ever have to perform an intimate scene under duress. Historically it has not been uncommon for an actor to feel pressured to do more than the terms laid out in their nudity rider for fear of being fired or branded as being “difficult.” Intimacy coordinators ensure that content is being produced ethically by obtaining informed consent from actors regarding the level of nudity and simulated sex that characters will be engaging in. No actor is ever forced or pressured into doing something that makes them feel unsafe.
IPA members help to make sure scenes of intimacy and stories involving LGBTQIA+ (which stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual, and other identities) characters or characters who are involved in an intimacy-related field (such as sex work or erotic dancing) are being told authentically. Working with an IPA member can help to not only make scenes look more real, but also make sure the production is accurately portraying the groups or communities being shown on screen." -Intimacy Professionals Association.
