Counting the cost Launch
Before a man starts to build a house he draws a plan and checks to see if he will be able to finish the house with the money he has. if not he might begin the foundation and realize that he cannot finish the house he started and people will laugh at his as the man who started building a house they could not finish. As minister of the Gospel, do we really effectively count the cost of ministry before we begin the challenging journey? In this episode we are launching a new series to help pastors count the cost of ministries effectively such that their ministries will not end in shame and disgrace to themselves, the church and to God. God in deed has anointed many women and given them the grace to prophesy with men. However, we cannot ignore the fact that sometimes, the Crab comes along with the crawfish.

Therefore it is important for us to pray for women in ministry so that they will effectively use the grace that God has given them as a tool to promote true unity and growth in the body of Christ lest they run the risk of running in to God's coming wrath. For we cannot establish ministry on the platform of disobedience as some women are doing - destroying their marriages and setting up a chain reaction of insubordination in the church of God. Praying Pastors Topics Part 4 (Escaping Financial Temptation)
How can Jesus say we should give freely because freely we have been given. then he turns and say we should not carry extra money or clothing because the workman is worthy of his wages. To me that might sound like a double standard. However, God also wants us to know that he will provide our needs when he sends us out to do his work. But the enemy will tempt you and spiritual attacks on the finances of Christian leaders can take a toll to the extent that it cripples every aspect of their ministry turning them into a preaching for stomach messengers who have forgotten their real mission and are only out for the money. My prayer for you and me is that the Lord helps us to escape this temptation in our days and do right before God and his people in Jesus name.

Pastor ministry is not done by SS benefits or 401k. It is done by absolute trust in God's providence. All these men and women of God doing ministry after amassing money are running their own show. True ministry is born out of responding to go and stepping out by faith knowing God will provide people and other resources. But you spend ten to twenty years trying to work and save money to do what God wanted you to do ten years ago. By the time you finish amassing money God had abandoned you already. Be wise

When a pastor leads Gods people, God should be able to say that He is leading those people or attest to the fact that he approved their Direction. If a pastor is not led by the spirit it means all the people under his care are a bunch of lost people going in their pastors direction thinking its God. So it is paramount that a pastor know that part of their Job is to ensure that God's leadership is active in their lives.

Have you ever been sleeping in a moving bus then all of a sudden you just woke up because the bus stopped? That's the way christians fall asleep or loss consciousness of time and trouble when their pastor is a visionary. But they will wake up as soon as the bus stops, asking questions why the bus is not moving? Why their life is not progressing? At the end as people step out of a stopped bus so they leave the church for another. Some even abandon the destination altogether. Pastor have a vision build it and keep working on it. That's your Job

As a pastor, all the members in your church are like in your spiritual house. Therefore you are spiritually responsible for their protection. I bet you if most pastors knew this, they will take their Job more seriously. It therefore, means as a pastor you expected to cover all those who attend your church from the attacks of the devil. Pastors who are not able to do this might be suffering many attacks because of the people they are trying to lead.

Its a shame that some pastors cannot boast an hour of prayer in a week some even for a month, yet they call themselves pastors. As a pastor you have to learn to pray consistent longer hours to avoid the temptations that come with your job. But some are running ministry of a faint state something Jesus warned us not to do. Teaching people to obey or do what you do is very easy. The challenge some pastors face is that they are hypocrites. They teach others to do what they don't do. True ministry starts when you first subject yourself to the normal Christian transformation process. If obey and teach God will bless you.

Sometimes you go to a pastor with a need but they first use you to solve their problems and you ended up not having your own expectations? Pastors don't loose sight of the fact that it was God who called and not the members of your church. So your pay is with God not them. Bless

Jesus didn't go to the school of the Pharisees. Saul did. Look how they both turned out. Jesus was used by God and Saul was used by the devil to destroy the work of God. Until Saul fell from his horse he was a servant of the devil. Question as a pastor where trained by God or a school? Let us be wise so we can build systems that are spiritually relevant to the church.
