A Rad Momma Podcast

A Rad Momma Podcast

By Araceli Espinoza Mead

I want to openly work on my motherhood, assessing how I raise a conscious human. Like, what does that even mean? The definition of radical I will be using is the adjective, a word of quality and content. My hope from all you Radical Mommas listening is to assume that we are learning together to create a more anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ positive practice in parenting.

Espinoza Girls Vol. 1

Espinoza Girls Vol. 1

At the end of Women's Herstory Month I was joined by my two sisters Aimee Matsumoto and Alexandria Espinoza. In their first appearance on Radical Momma you get to hear how we each perceived the way we were raised as it pertains to being first generation, feminists, and we share some random childhood memories. I am so glad to share this space with them! They are my biggest supporters and I am forever grateful to be an Espinoza Girl!

A Rad Momma's Feminist Philosophy

A Rad Momma's Feminist Philosophy

Welcome back to A Rad Momma Podcast. This episode, I discuss the her/history on the F-word "Feminism," where it came from and how it has evolved to our contemporary experiences. This is an intersectional approach that touches on menstruation, educational and professional experiences, and the Madonna-Whore paradox. Of course we can't unpack everything in 40 minutes, but it is a start. Subscribe & follow, give a 5-Star review on Apple Podcasts!!

Mental Health is Radical

Mental Health is Radical

In this episode I open up about my mental health journey, vulnerability, and growth. I open up about my miscarriage and the fear that comes from living in a global pandemic. Depression and anxiety shows up differently for all of us, my experience is not one-size-fits all, so please seek professional help. My hope is that you respect my journey and story as a human healing to be a better parent.
