Diversify your income
My grandpa use to say, "don't pull of your eggs in one basket". With the recent world situation and widespread panic this couldn't prove more true. As artists and entrepreneurs we are panicked as we watch our art shows close, galleries close, and art fairs cancel. We're watching as our finances begin to dry up. I talk this week about why it's so important to have multiple streams of income as an artist and/or entrepreneur.

Dealing with Overwhelm
As an entrepreneur, it is easy to find yourself overwhelmed. With overwhelm comes lack of motivation, inspiration, and energy. As an artist and entrepreneur I even find that it effects my creativity level in the studio. If you don't find ways of comping with the overwhelm, anxiety will start to set in. This is a common problem in anyone trying to juggle family, business, and the ever growing to do list. This week I discuss three things you can do to help prevent reaching the point of overwhelm.  You can find more art marketing, social media, and business advice at https://www.artmarketingmuse.com *** Follow me on Instagram @artmarketingmuse Facebook @artmarketingmuse If you have enjoyed listening, please consider leaving a rating and comment!

5 Reasons You Need an Artist Website
Not only does an artist website give you credibility, but it also gives you control over who, when, and how potential customers see your artwork. In this podcast, I explain why it's important to have your own artist website.

Mindset & Money
In the beginning of my art career, I had some pretty nasty opinions of money and business regarding my art. I wanted to pay my bills, but I was creating obstacles for myself without even realizing it. Only after I became aware of my feelings towards money and business was I able to change my perspective and move forward. Once my mindset shifted, my art career shifted. It's so important to get really clear about your mindset regarding money, business, and art. If you are not in the right mindset, you can unknowingly create obstacles for yourself. It's important to be aware of how you feel about your art as a business and road blocks you may be putting up without realizing it. This week I have some real talk about the subject, how I identified it, and what you can do start thinking differently.
