After a super long hiatus, we are back in the mix. This week James covers current events in the arts, the reason for his break, new music, as well as the usual Art & BS.

of sitting down with Michael Garcia to catch up. Michael shares stories with us from his trip to Japan, time at Cal Arts, as well as his recent solo show "Memento Mori" at the Downtown Artist Gallery in Fresno,CA. Vicken Massoyan joins in as a co-host on this episode.

This week on the show the HNIC of JKP Photography LLC pulls up to the studio for a brief episode. The guys spent an hour goofing around so that cut into podcast time. However we still manage to learn about Jerry's love for photography, his approach to maintaining an individual style, the importance of community organizations, as well as the usual Art and BS. This was the 1st episode where we got video! Stay tuned.

This week we cover Fresno’s Bizare Fest, talk the importance of customer service as an artist, and get caught up on recent happenings. After that James pulls some audio out of the Vault. 3 more guests from the first ever Art and BS Podcast Group Show on this round. We have the pleasure of talking with Marco Tovar about his tin type photography as well as what went into his piece for our group show. After that, Brian Vasquez returns to talk about his Django movie poster, tattooing, and digital art vs traditional art. Last but certainly not least, Racquelle Justo closes out the episode, we got a chance to visit her in Studio 129 while she was painting for and upcoming event.

On episode 112 we have a chance to visit the studio of mixed media artist Michael Garcia. He share’s with us various stories about life and artwork. During the late 80s Michael live in Japan while participating in many solo exhibitions, at one time owned a studio/gallery Club Jinnaka. This man has a long run in the arts and continues to blaze it. Recently he had a solo exhibition in the Downtown Fresno Gallery in Fresno, CA. Michael is part of an upcoming group show at Fig Tree Gallery in Fresno, CA this August.
