The changes in web design for web 3.0 that every business owner needs to know - Episode 3 of web 3.0 mini series
Anybody else remember when the internet first rolled out? Web 1.0 was filled with that "phone line connection sound." It empowered us to find solutions at the tap of a keyboard, and "you've got mail" was the best notification ever (how times have changed!).   Fast forward to web 2.0 (where we are today) and we interact with smart devices, social media, bots and the occasional spam that can become catastrophic!  What these 2 experiences of the web have taught us is that users want an experience unique to them and hyper personalized.  How that starts is through design.  Why? Because the design of your website is extremely important in regards to how users experience your brand as a whole.   Some key elements with changes to your website that you should consider (sooner than later):  1. Illustrations  2. Bold headlines 3. Clean layout 4. Easy flow 5. Free positioning (LESS of the "perfectly aligned images/grids).  6. Overlapping images  7. Interactive elements  8. Abtract design elements  9. Text over images  10. What the heck is a funnel?
A funnel is something that a lot of people are either unsure about, or find super confusing.  No, it's not the same as your website, and yes every business owner should have one!  In summary, a funnel isn't just a pretty landing page with a box to collect leads, it's an intentional journey that you have mapped out for your ideal audience that leads them to your offer.   The #1 thing to avoid, is OVERCOMPLICATING things!  Start simple, start with one thing and then continue scaling.   Tune in for a quick explanation of what a funnel is and some tips on how you can start building one today.
