Life Coaching series: What is humility?
If you are a Christian, I'm sure you have read that God gives grace to the humble. I read that but really had no idea what humility was. I had the idea what it meant. I lived what I tought it was: be a dormat.  I did that for years.  About one year ago I was reading in scripture in Proverbs  22:4 It says Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life.  I had never tied fear to humility. I have also associated fear with being afraid sitting in the corner sucking my thumb. Fear was scary to feel.  Today I want to talk to you guys about what I have learned about humility and the 2 definitions of fear that apply to fear and how one maybe wreaking havoc in your relationship with God. What definition of fear are you living by? How is it impacting your current well being? Are you allowing God to go there? What is holding you back from what you need the most? What is humility? Let's talk about it. Join me for Food For Though Friday where I go LIVE on Facebook to encourage you with whatever I believe will from the context of my own life. Life Coaching series: Integrating God's grace in the transition.
Have you found yourself realizing how you have been caught up in the Victim Triangle? Dude...I get it. I have been there and realize we will always realize things about ourself that result in feeling shame, condemnation, fear and how these emotional states are what really keep us stuck and from pursuing what we want. We don't like to feel a certain way so we do everything to protect ourselves at the cost of us living the life that is buried under all the negative emotions we face. As we come to realize where we are in the growth process of life, we need a buffer that will help us make the vital transitions that will result in strong, firm and steadfast people who are using their gifts, talents and whole heart to impact the world. Who doesn't want that type of freedom in life? Let's talk about what we need as the foundation for any type of positive change we seek to make in our lives. Do you have just the head knowledge of God's grace but don't know how to use it in the context of your life? Do you know what is keeping you from internalizing Gods grace? Do you know how Gods grace has impacted your llife? Are you able to share your story in how God has redeemed you from the shame hole? If not, what are you missing? How is God using your emotions to point to the symptoms of a deeper problem? Are you willing to face the thoughts that are the barrier between your perspective and Gods reality? What do you believe about God? How is that belief keeping you from God's grace? What should result in you as a result of Gods grace? All this and more my friends! Lets jump into the episide. Life Coaching series: The Victim Triangle.
Have you guys ever heard of the victim triangle? Oh man... I never had untill I was reading a fantastic book called, Codependent No More How to Stop Controlling Others and Start Caring for Youself by Melody Beattie. This was a real attitude adjuster for me! LOL Anyway, I had never understood this before but once I became aware of this dymanic, I began to see how it was playing itself out in my life and how I it was impacting me. Today I share some signs from the book mentioned above that give some words to experiences you may be having but couldn't communicate it. That's ok. We are emotional creatures.  I can identify with some of the list and I hope you can too if you have been a rescuser like me or are still currently rescuing. The first step to healing is becoming aware of the habits we have that steal, kill and destroy. Let's jump into the episode and learn this thing called The Karpman Drama Triangle. I will add some link to some YouTube vidoes in the description below. Life Coaching Series: What is a schema? How are they developed and relevant to you?
This term schema is to be used in the context of psychology while listening to this episode. It funny how words have different meanings for different contexts and this is the context im applying it too. I have been reading a book that has been changing my life recently that I didn;t think I would end up sharing on the podcast but I believe its relevant to the foundation of healing in our lives and transforming for the sake of unleashing our gifts upon the world. Today I talked about 2 differnt schemas that we can develop while growing up at children that impact us all into agdult hood if not aware. I share how I have been impacted by each as well as how we can recover our selfs and no longer sabotoge our lives with these distorted ways of seeing things. What may have worked in one context may not work in the next. I hope this episode inspires you and encouges you to begin the process of healing yourself in this way and to have the self compassion as these patterns begin to show themselves. Life Coaching Series: Judgement and Glory. Who do you answer too?
So I thought I was going to talk about condemnation today but I will save that. I was reading John  this morning. I was reading John 4 this morning and then realized that in John 3 is when Jesus said that he didnt come into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him. Once I finsihed reading it, the story of the woman caught in adultry and Jesus asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you? "No one, Sir." She said. "Then neither do I condemn you." Jesus declared, "Go now and leave your life of sin." I also realized through reading John 8 that Jeus talks alot about judgement and glory and how he doesnt seek glory for himself because God is the judge...man...so much in this chapter. I broke down what judgement and glory means so you can use these definitions through the context of your own life. Do you know what glory means? Do you know what judgement means? Who do you answer to? Are you trying to seek your own glory because you can't handle being your own judge? Let's jump in into toays episode! Life Coach Series: Shame. Who is it relevant to?
Today Im diving into a topic most don't like to discuss but as the same time denying you struggle with it is the exact reason you are stuck in your life not doing what you know you want to do. As I woke up this morning, I was thinking about how shamed was formed...not living by the knowledge of God... But then I asked God, "What about the people who have shame and did't grow up with the knowldege of God. Then this question came to mind,  "Who gave you the rules you are living by?" It was an aha moment for me! I thought about how all people were raised by someone and got rules handed down to them for a purpose. Today I share why its importent to have a vision, question the rules that you are living by and if your current habits are allowing you to achieve that vision. If not, are you willing to face the thought proceess/beliefs/meanings you have attached to your life that are not serving the vision God has for you life so you can get past the barriers and move into a future both you and God desire? Revelation Revamp: God's grace is enough; Don't deny the emotions that validate why he came to die.
This was a hard one for me to swallow. I realized a belief that I had about God this morning that was keeping me from God and then I realized that I needed his grace even more. How do you guys respond to your self when God exposes a belief you have about him that is hurting your relationship to him? Do you want to hide from him? How are you feeling that keeps you from God? Our emotions are indicators and we all have them. That is how Jesus related to us. Today I want to crack into what I was thinking about, how it was making me feel and how I wanted to hide that from the Lord.  If you ever feel like this, I completely understand.  Here is what the Lord reminded me of as I was walking through this process. Let's jump in and I hope you are encouraged. Check out the Merch I mentioned in the episode! Revelation Revamp: "PRP". Are you allowing the Lord to do a Plank Removal Process for the sake of wisdom?
This was my biggest revelation of June!  Endings are not just for the dead but the areas of your life that are not serving you. What areas of your life need to be transformed? What areas of your life are stealing. killing and destroying you? Let me break this process down from my own experience in hopes of encouraging you. Revelation Revamp: Embrace your purpose. Don't deny your process.
This was a big one for me during 2019!  Today I am sharing the biggest revelation I had in May of 2019 and I hope it inspires you and encourages. I share how I was afraid to share my journey of healing with the rest of the world because I was afraid of judgement from the Christian community. Then one day as I was thinking about how I was holding back on sharing  certain things, a thought came into my mind that will forever propel me forward, "Ashley, it you deny the process I put you in to heal you, you deny me." How could I deny the one who had healed my heart in some deep and powerful ways? How could I not let my light shine? Here is more of my stroy, the beliefs I had formed around that and then my realization to get out from under those. I hope this will help shed some light in areas of your life  where you may be holding back because you fear the judgement and at the same time can no longer deny the light of God in your heart. Revelation Revamp: Choosing to accept rejection for the sake of freedom.
This is Aprils Revelation Revamp: Accepting Rejection.  This is a lesson Im still integrating but realizing its absolutely essential if we want to live the lives God has called us to live and influence.  Today I walked you through the beliefs that formed my life in the context of not wanting to say what was on my heart because I feared rejection. I encourage you to do the same.  What is the biggest struggle you have? What experiences shaped and formed you? When remembering the major experiences of your life, the bad memories, what conclusion did you come to as a result of that experience? How is that belief hindering your life now? How are you asking God for the grace to change the belief you have about yourself that is keeping your from the goals and talents God has put inside you? Today I shared the revelation I had in March of 2019. I realized I needed to tell the story that birthed this revelation. I hope through me sharing my story, you can reflect on yours and begin to get some insight to what formed you and at the same time how it didn't if you have been able to produce better results in your life.  That's the other topic of today, how has God's grace helped you in your life even though your life should not be what it is? Maybe you have accomplished things or raisied children that there is no way they would have turned out the way: God was all over that. Real and Ideal: Pulling the planks for the sake of perspective.
I wasn't sure how I was going to tie all this into the what we have been talking about this past week but I hope it makes sense because when I was recording it I felt like I was all over the place! LOL Seriously. However, I think you will get the jist of it. We got to be able to look back on the areas that God has us in the maturing process, how the people in our life are impacting that and learning how to set boundaires with the good God has out in us with the people we love the most so we can pursure the new God is putting into our hearts. Thank you for all who have been with me in the process. It has been just that. You as an audience have been a form of grace to me by listening, sharing and engaging with me in the content Im sharing with you. I pray you are encouraged and continue on the path God has you on. Let's jump in so we can realize  things in our hearts that may still be in the way of God advancing our lives and asking God to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves: think differently and get a new perspective. Real and Ideal (Integrating God's grace into your life). This is something that I have only began to understand the last few years. I had no idea the amount of shame I was living under and how it was impacting my relationship with God and others. I had lived in a place that God would abandoned me if I shared my whole self with him. Then I remembered that while I was still a sinner, Christ died for me so my sinful state didn't keep Christ from doing what was in his heart to do. All I needed to do was receive what he came to give me and allow it to impact my life: God's grace. Their is no condemnation in Christ. He doesn't point our our wrongs and hold it against us. He gives us the grace we need to face what is causing death in us and gives us a new way of thinking to create life in us. God's grace gives us the courage we need to make transitions in life that will benefit us and advance Gods kingdom through the context of our lives. Listen as I share real life examples in how I have and currently am implementing God's grace in hopes of you being able to do this vital task for the sake of you growing into the person God created you to be. Boundaries: Do we need to set them with family?
I know...its a touchy subject! I completely understand because we didn't have boundaries in my family of orgin and we just talked to each other however we wanted because we were family and that "love" would be the bond that would become unbreakable.  My family of orgin all had different daddies, different livnig conditions, we didn't grow up together and when me and my younger Sister did, we were just surviving and didnt learn how to thrive in life. I hope my discussion today will give you some encouragement that we all have dysfunctional relational dymanices that try to steal, kill and destroy the love and talents God has put in every single person. Boundaries in family are the first place we should learn to set boundaries because that is whee we first learned to love first and boundaries protects that love. Allow me to explain. Lets jump into todays podcast! Boundaries! This is something that I have only began to implement into my life the last 5 years. The environment I was in growing up didn't teach me this foundational concept because they didn't have them either. We cannot teach what we don't have within ourselves first. I had come to a point in my walk with Christ that I was burned out and struggling with what I was responsible for and what my role was. I was worrying about what was happening with others more than what was happening inside of me. For years I had been taught to deny myself and I was doing that in the most extreme and destructive ways to myself. Boundaries changed that all for me tho! The book Boundaries by Dr. Henry Cloud changed my life. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is seeking to establish who they are in relationship to other people. Let's define what a boundary is. A boundary is a combination of what you say yes and no too; it's a combination of the choices you make that shape your life. It's really self control in action. This is something that is developed overtime and lots of factors need to be discussed so this can be done with confidence. Let's jump into the episode so we can get ourselves established from the rest of the world in only a way that YOU can. Bonding: How are the people in your life impacting you?
This is the same title as episode 19 so this must be importent! I honestly cannot remember the angle I came at in that episode but Im sure this will be different! I hope you find what Im talking about to be relevant to you in some type of way so you can begin to take inventory of where you are in your life, how the people you are around maybe propelling or keeping you from advancing in the things God has put on your heart and get some much needed grace to change. Join me as I share the types of people we need to watch for in  life and the motives that may be revelaed in their presense. Are these motives present in your heart like they were in mine for a time? Join me as I share my story in hopes of inspiring you. Bonding! You maybe thinking, “What? Why are we talking about his on here? I can function without having to bond with people...I have made it this far...” Is that is you? I understand. I didn't realize I needed people: I thought people needed me. Because I thought like this, I would stay on my P's and Q's to not rock the boat of the image I was trying to covey to the rest of the world; “I got my Christian game tight and there is nothing you can say about that”. LOL! That was my mentality. I was afraid to fail in the presence of my Christian Brothers and Sisters. I had been in this mode my whole life. I had grown up in an alcoholic family. The only time my mother would take time for me is when she was helping me with school and would tell me that I was going to be valedictorian (God I hope I spelled that right!) Because of the issues my parents had and the belief my mother had in me,  I wanted to prove to the world my parents were not as worthless as most had judged them: I was with them and saw all that was impacting their life. I had already been trying to help them with all their issues at a precious age of 5... My worth was in what I gave to them. I never learned to receive love. Can you relate? So what is bonding exactly? Its your ability to establish an emotional connection with another person. How are you doing with that? Why is this so important? How does it impact on how we go on to present ourselves to the rest of the world? All this will be discussed in this and future episodes! Let's jump in and discuss this very important skill in relationships. Maturity: Where are you in the process of maturity?
This episode is about taking a step back.  Where are you in your maturity process in your relationship with the Lord?  How is he growing and developing you? Where do you need to shift in your thinking?  What is one of the biggest lesssons God has taught you?  How did you come to this conclusion? Today I share an area of my life that God has been growing in me for the sake of you reflecting in your own life. God has a plan and purpose for us all if we seek it. I thought I would be able to draft some questions for you guys from a fantastic book, Changes that Heal but due to copywite laws, just get the book LOL! One day I will come up with my own and share them with you then. There are a few at the beginning of this that are powerful starting points. If you take the time to answer the above questions, It will give you so much insight. Maturity! This is a topic that has been on my mind for a long time because for so many years I had thought I was mature but was still operating in a parent/child dynamic with other adults in my church. I thought I was mature because I was living by their values and expectations and because I was chosing to do it I was an adult. I didn't realize how much I was living in compulsion and fear of them wrongly judging me and condemning me for not complying with them. To top it off, I was a brand new Christian when I came into their fellowship so I was all ears and more than willing to do what was expected because I wanted to grow in my relationship with God and that was my priority. Over the years I realized how that way of living was hindering my growth and development as a person. I realized I had perspectives and experiences that were relevant and shouldn't be hidden to keep the peace. God didn't hide his desire to have a relationship with me by exposing the issues hindering it, I shouldn't be ashamed of the things he came to die for and the grace he supplied in my life through giving me a life giving perspective that has altered the trajectory of my life. I share these different perspectives through my own life experiences with this topic as well as what I'm currently learning for that week. I hope this inspires and encourages you to grow into the person God created you to be with no apologies. Real and Ideal:Understanding your present day burden so you can move into the future.
I realized that I have a fear of repeating the past. I don't ever want to go back to living with my own hand over my mouth. I never want again to live with the burden of my own silence.  I realized that that is not possible when I now have the knowledge that lead to that burden being formed in the first place. I want you to experience the same level of deep freedom that the Lord is revealing to me. What burden are you carrying today? How have you been deceived into thinking that its Gods will to live with these burdens on your heart? All this and more in todays podcast! Real and Ideal (Integrating God's grace into your life). Boundaries: What is the difference between external and internal boundaries?
Boundaries. Something that I was never taught and when I entered the church they were viewed as walls and if you have walls, you are not loving and if you are not loving you are not being obedient and if your are not obedient you are a sinner "and your *** is on your way to hell." Yes...I said the word in this episode today but I hope you will give me grace and understand the context of the use of this. I hope by be being transparent in my struggle to find my worth, how I found it and what Im realizing now will give you insight to your own struggle. Bonding: Giving yourself grace for how you bonded in unhealthy ways.
This was something I never realized before and as God was unearthing this into my life, I realized the amount of shame I had felt because of the way I had conducted myself as a person in relatoinship and realizing how destructive that was. The knowlege of this had left me feeling so much shame that I asked myself, "Can I praise you like the angels do in revelation Lord with the new knowledge I have of myself?" How many of us can look back  on how we used to bond with people and feel ashamed and condemned? What do we need to contine to make the transformation as these things are revealed for the sake of being healed? Join me today as I talk about a topic that can leave one feeling quite vulnerable and at the same time, liberated from the bondage of being guarded. Maturity: Discovering your fact of existence.
I was in Revelation chapter 4 this morning and there was a line that stook out to me, "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." (Rev.4:11) The word being struck me.  What does being mean? I looked it up and it said "fact of existence".  That got me questioning life and finding the purpose of our individual lives and the purpose God has for them. What keeps us from finding out purpose and the nature of our existence?  What barriers get in the way of people finding out the truth of this in the context of their own life? All this and more in todays podcat! Let's jump in. Real and Ideal: Are you expecting God to do for you what you cannot do for yourself?
Are you approaching God daily? Are you recognizing the barriers that get in the way of your relationship with the Lord? Are you approaching God and waiting in expectation for him to work in your life? All this and more in todays episode. Boundaries: Do you have a buffer between your circumstances and what God is showing you in your heart?
Today I share with you guys an experience I had over the weekend that got me really reflecting on how importent it is to have a distance between our circumstances that are currently happening in our life and how God is revealing needs we have, fear, insecurcities and all the other things that suck the life out of us through those experiences that reveal these things in our hearts. What if God used that to show us greater areas in our hearts that needed healing? Join me as I break this down with a story from my own life. Maturity: What does maturity look like?
What does it mean to be Christ like? We hear it all the time but rarely did someone put words to it for me. It always seemed evasive and unattainable but today I want to show you that it is very possible in the contect of your life and if you have God's grace in your life, you should be maturing as a result of it. I listed some core values today and a few character traits (I drew a blank on this one but I promise I will share a list in a future episode!) Join me as we discuss something that should be taking place in our lives on the daily and that is isnt as scary as it sounds! Maturity! Real and Ideal: Getting to the heart of what we understand so we can move forward in life.
Today I talked about the importance of looking at what we believe about God, ourselves and other people, how those beliefs impact you currently and the blessing of being able to chage what we believe in these 3 areas so we can move forward and make progress in life producing the fruit of the spirit all the time not leaning on our circumstances, performance, others opinions but Gods spirit in us that reminds us that true freedom is in how we think and God can help us with all that! Let's talk about Real and Ideal... Real and Ideal (Integrating God's grace into your life). This is something that I have only began to understand the last few years. Pay attention to these types of people when it comes to setting boundaries! Listen to know what I mean. Boundaries! Bonding: Understanding people. What 5 mindsets can you take on to become an understanding person?
When we can understand people, we can understand the heart of God and how he wants us to communicate the grace he has given to through the holes his grace found us in. Our shame and his grace collided and as a result we are healed: we are steadfast, strong and secure. Today I shared with you guys the importance of understanding people, what we need if we are going to be an environment that cultivates people confessing sin to get healed and these 5 mindsets can help us impact each other in the most fulfilling way for the health of all invloved. Bonding! You maybe thinking, “What? Why are we talking about his on here? I can function without having to bond with people...I have made it this far...” Is that is you? I understand. Maturity: Growing in understanding in the context of our life.
God says that his people will die from lack of understanding.  God also tells us that his people will die from our lack of knowledge. Are you aware of the knowledge of your own life?  Are you aware of the outcomes you have had that lead to a good outcome, bad out come or both? Are you growing in your own understanding of the knowledge of your life,  how it's impacting you and using it as leverage for wisdom and God producing a good outcome of your life? God can only produce good. Humans however are not all knowing and that lack of knowledge also contributes to the evil we experience. Today I discuss all this for the sake of us growing in the direction that will heal us and help us to bear fruit that will bless the people God puts in our life. Maturity! This is a topic that has been on my mind for a long time because for so many years I had thought I was mature but was still operating in a parent/child dynamic with other adults in my church. Boundaries: How has your bonding impacted what you allow into your life?
In this episode, Im relating back to yesterdays podcast about who we bond with and today I want to talk about the impact of that. Who we bond to will determine what good or bad we allow into ourl life. Bonding: How are the people you are bonding with impacting you?
This came from some a scripture I was reading in Isiah 1 this morning. I realized how God had been so honest with them about who he was but they had completely forsaken him and the results of that were devestating. It got me reflecting on how the people I choose to bond with impacted my life and my confidence in my relationship with God. How are the people you are chosing to bond with impacting you in your life? How has it impacted the decisions you make? Listen to my story and maybe it will help you reflect on yours a little more. Maturity: You are only a slave to what you allow.
This was a thought that crossed my mind when I was debating on starting another social media account. I don't want to ever lose sight of my priorities and at the same time need to have another platform I can use to reach more people with the things the Lord has reached me with. Today I want to talk about how the outcome of our lives is our responsibilty to evaluate if your not happy with your life. If you feel like a slave, you can acknowledge it and ask God to give you wisdom so you can mange your life in away that makes our relationship with God attractive. This was an episode that towards the end I was honest about some judgements I see people can make that can keep people under wraps and because of these judgements...people can feel like slaves to the expectations and judgements of the others around them. This is a hot topic issue (in episode towards the end) but one I believe is also apart of the dymanic that needs to be exposed and at least talked about so it can lose its hold it can have on peoples lives. Maturity! Its Monday!!!!! Real and Ideal: Establishing the motives of the heart.
In todays episode I talk about how God uses the parts we hide from him in out heart to bring about the birth of revelation and wisdom. Who doesn't want that? I also discuss the main emotions of guilt, shame, fear, anxiety and how they can be used for us and not against us like they normally are... All this and more!!! Boundaries: Not walls but fences with gates.
Boundaries!  What perspective are we looking through them today? They are fences with gates that allow the good and bad to come out. Bonding: Becoming a repairer of broken walls.
What a task right? It can seem overwhelming but only when we are not taking full responsibility for the brokeness inside ourselves. Listen to this podcast as I break down what I mean by that and how the whole bonding thing plays a role in our ability to do this. Maturity: Facing yourself.
This is the ultimate expression and maturity: You ability to face yourself and have self control by taking full responsibility for your good and bad parts. Here is an example of how Im doing this in my own life. Real and Ideal: What do we need to transistion to get from one to the other.
How has God's grace penetrated your life? Do you have areas of shame in you life that need to be uncovered? Here is a little stroy of how I discovered areas of shame that were hindering my walk with Christ and the dynamic I was in relationally that kept it alive in todays episode. Real and Ideal (Integrating God's grace into your life). This is something that I have only began to understand the last few years. Boundaries: Boundaries are within. The law is the outside foundation.
I was asking a question today... How am I going to try and tie this all in with what we have been disussing the last 2 days... Bonding: You live in law and not love when you have failed to bond.
Bonding: An emotional attachment to another person. If we are to bond with someone. that means we have to be vulnerable. We are vulnerable when we are honest with each other about our whole selves and not just the parts of ourselves we feel strong: We gotta be willing to expose our whole self, weaknesses and all, so we can mutually encourage each other. Where you are weak, I am strong and where I am weak, you are strong. In order to strengthen the church, we gotta create a culture of confession with one another. Today I share what I experienced in my old fellowship and how that impacted the church. Maturity: Going from the Law of God to the Heart of God.
This was not an easy  topic to discuss today because this is the first time in my life I'm trying to unpack something that I'm only just beginning to understand. I hope this conversation at least provokes a different perspective within yourselt that will come from a place of love and grace you have received from the Lord. If you have yet to receive this grace, I completely undetstand because I can still find myself trying to live apart from it out of fearing of abusing it. Today I talked about how we call live from our own vantage point, what happens when someone presents information that goes against what we believe and how we can begin to make the transisiton in living from the surace to the heart. This is something Im currently learning in my life right now! I hope and pray this episode encourages and inspires you to receive the grace God has for you in its various forms. Boundaries: How do you define yourself?
We are talking about a topic that has been foundational for me. I had never learned to establsih myself from others because I was taught to die to myself and pay attention to the needs of others. My world was centered around others and not rooted in self control. God is our example of setting boundaries because He does it all through out his word. We need to learn to establish our self the same way he does because we are made in his image. We must learn to carry ourselves the same way he does. What do you believe about yourself and the worth that you have? Is that maybe getting your way of setting up boundaries in life? Join me as we talk about this layered subject! Bonding: Is your fear of the Lord leading you to bond with him?
I'm picking up where I left off on the episode I did talking about fear of the Lord and maturity. What fear are you living under as a result of the knowledge that is available to you? How is your relationship with the Lord being impacted by the fear you are living in? Are you bonding with God on a deeper level as a result of fearing him? In this episode I share how I use to live in a fear that kept me from God and how my childhood as well as spiritual environment played a role in me living this way. I talk about the role our salvation has in growing our fear of the Lord and ask you to tap into the deep waters of it. Isaiah 2:2-3 (That is the scripture I forgot to add! Maturity: What definiton of fear are you living by? How is it impacting your wisdom?
This was an unexpected episode but I think a necessary one! It encouraged me and I believe you too will be encouraged. My husband had done a sermon on this and it opened my mind to what I believe about fear and how it has translated in my relationship with God. What is your definition of fear? Real and Ideal self: God uses other people to change our perspective.
I don't know about you but I have areas in my life I want to grow in and at the same time I have no idea how to get there! Thank God for people who have gone before me that have faced similar problems and are willing to share the thought process they used that got them to a better outcome in life. We all have a function and need confidence as well as others for the gifts, talents and perspectives they have so we can collaborate and advance God's kingdom together.
