Complicity In Capitalism

Complicity In Capitalism

In this episode, members of APC 2020-21 Board and recent alumni have a conversation about living genuinely within capitalism. How can we navigate working under capitalism as anti-capitalists? In academia, in the industry, in "social change" professions? How do we balance survival and staying true to our ideologies? If you, like us, grapple with these questions – you'll want to tune in for this one. We hope it resonates with you.

Asian American Braving COVID-19

Asian American Braving COVID-19

We would like to acknowledge that the xenophobia the Asian American community has experienced lately is only a fraction of the racism that the African American, and other communities of color, face every day. Please take this moment to reflect upon the racial hierarchy that white supremacy has created. We condemn police brutality, especially when it involves a member of the APIDA community being complicit in systems of oppression. If you can, please continue to support the efforts of the Minnesota Fund and other local organizations invested in black livelihoods and liberation.

---

In light of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Asian-American community has come under attack. In this podcast, we discuss a specific string of attacks against Asian-owned restaurants in San Jose and what that meant to us in the broader context of the Asian American experience in the United States.
