135 - Cherries on the Side with Peter Grosz
Now wait a minute. This week's episode was recorded a few weeks ago, so we're coming to you from the time machine. (Bryan) was still hungover from the double debauchery of his birthday and the Social Club Kiki (leaky tops!), but if we know anything (and we do, pardon me), it's that this week's guest is worth the wait. Joining us in The Carriage House is none other than writer, actor, and comedian Peter Grosz! You know him from literally a million things, whether it's his classic commercials for Sonic, his work on VEEP and THE PRESIDENT SHOW, or his Emmy winning stint as a writer for THE COLBERT REPORT. You can also catch Peter in his monthly New York show WE FIXED IT at Caveat on the Lower East Side. This month's show is on September 9th!
Peter joins us to give advice on making a high flying career change, dealing with a recluse neighbor, and a work crush that's going nowhere.
An official Ask Ronna Coffee Kiki may be brewing! In the coming month or two we'll be making an announcement about it, but to make sure you're invited, become a a coffee subscriber today at askronnacoffee.com
September's AR Social Club Member list is set, but it's not too late to become a member for October! If you know how much Ronna loves Halloween, then you also know we've got some serious plans in store for the club. Join us before October 1st to be invited! arsocialclub.com
134 - Marblehead Ministries with Jessica Gao
Now wait a minute. Once again we have what the industry calls a "get" on the show this week. We're so excited to get to our guest that (Bryan) is (almost) willing to put aside his raging jealousy that Ronna's going to the Emmys this year, so let's get to it. Joining us in The Carriage House is none other than writer, producer, and creator of Marvel's SHE-HULK: ATTORNEY AT LAW on Disney Plus Jessica Gao!
Jessica joins us to give advice on dealing with a family member's socially unaware girlfriend, a problematic new grandparent, and some friendship drama revolving around a baby shower.
August's AR Social Club Kiki is on Wednesday 8/31, and it's going to be one for the books. A White Party (get those linens pressed!) celebrating this month's drink selection: a trio of impeccable rosés. But remember, if you're not already a member you only have until 11:59pm ET Thursday 9/1 to join the AR Social Club for the month of September! arsocialclub.com
133 - A Destroyer of Childhoods and a Maker of Stars with Gearóid Farrelly
Now wait a minute. (Bryan) is coming to us from a beautiful location outside The Carriage House, but it's probably for the best (Ronna's still dealing with the Massachusetts Health Department because of his recent pool party). But we've got a FABULOUS guest with us this week. Joining us is none other than our dear, dear friend, comedian, and Ask Ronna superfan Gearóid Farrelly! He's appearing now at the Edinburgh Fringe through August 28th, and his Glamour Hammer Tour kicks off in Ireland on September 16th.
Gearóid joins us to give advice on some brother-in-law baker drama, dealing with rejection after a promising first date, and whether it's tacky or not to open a gift registry for a housewarming.
The countdown is coming to an end soon for those of you who want to join us for the September Social Club Kiki! Visit arsocialclub.com and subscribe before September 1st to be a member in good standing and start building your bar into the best around, excuse me.
132 - I'm It, She's It, So We're It with Hannah Einbinder
Now wait a minute. Ronna may be feeling like a frisky feline after receiving feedback that she shouldn't sing on her own g.d. show, excuse me, but that doesn't change the fact that we've outdone ourselves yet AGAIN with our guest this week. Joining us in The Carriage House is none other than "it" girl, Emmy nominee, and star of HBO Max's HACKS Hannah Einbinder! Hannah joins us to give advice on dealing with a friend who can't seem to stop copying others, and a couple of etiquette questions on bachelorette parties and babysitting.
August's AR Social Club is going to be DIVINE, pardon me. If you're not a member yet, a) what are you waiting for? and b) there's still time to join us in September! Just visit arsocialclub.com and subscribe before September 1st to be invited to September's Kiki. As an added bonus, one lucky Social Club Member in September will win a chance to appear in their very own segment on an episode of Ask Ronna! It's a prize we shouldn't even be handing out, excuse me, but for our club members, they deserve it. Luxurious club, luxurious rewards.
131 - Fonzie and the Shark with D'Arcy Carden
Hello, Dolly! Have we got a show this week or what? First, a disclaimer: we did this interview a couple of months ago, but we held on to it because we wanted to wait until the premiere of this guest's fabulous new show. And, truly, we've outdone ourselves yet again with the quality of stars that we're getting, pardon me. We're so excited to welcome to The Carriage House our dear friend D'Arcy Carden! Of course you know her from shows like THE GOOD PLACE and BARRY, but her new show, a television adaptation of A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN, premieres on Amazon Prime this Friday August 12th!
D'Arcy joins us to give advice on raising the issue of oral hygiene with a partner, a bonkers problem of animals attacking a London flat (a letter for the ages), and making friends with people who have different views and perspectives than yourself.
130 - Coco Chanel By the Sea with Special Guest Host Scarlett Curtis
Now wait a minute. We don't think anyone saw this coming. (Bryan) is away today, and we've got a very special guest host...a real dark horse who's made the jump from guest to co-host to potential Carriage House Co-op Board President. It's our dear friend, writer and essayist Scarlett Curtis! Scarlett joins Ronna today to give advice on what to do with a sister who equates her cats to children, how to make friends after a move to a new neighborhood, and how to move on from a complicated relationship involving some VERY deep feelings.
129 - Tough Mudder to the Rudder
It's a Carriage House Catch Up for the ages this week! Just Ronna (& Bryan) sharing their love together. After Ronna shows off more of her musical chops, and after a stern talking down to listeners who don't take Ronna (& Bryan)'s advice and yet write in for more, we're so excited to share Co-op Board President Josh Camson's Carriage House Style Guide! Read it, memorize it, and FOLLOW IT, excuse me. Then we give advice on finding a path to an elusive orgasm, not looking a gift "Wayne" in the mouth, and the best way to load a dishwasher.
It's almost time for July's AR Social Club Kiki, a.k.a. (Bryan)'s Shampoo Buzz Hour. Members can join us on Sunday July 31 at 7pm ET / 4pm PT. Not a member yet? You'll definitely want to join us for August's Kiki. Be sure to visit arsocialclub.com and subscribe before August 1.
Feeling left out of the Social Club because you're a teetotaler? There's always Ask Ronna Coffee! Gorgeous coffee awaits you, and summer is the perfect time to try Carriage House Blend or Shades of Vanilla over ice. askronnacoffee.com
128 - Here Comes the Cat in the Hat-ness with Sona Movsesian
Now wait a minute. Ronna's recording issues aside, the show must go on, and have we got a show for you this week or have we got a show for you this week? We couldn't be happier to welcome our dear, dear friend (and original troublemaker, excuse me) Sona Movsesian! You know Sona as the personal assistant of another dear friend of The Carriage House, Conan O'Brien. Sona is co-host of the wildly successful podcast CONAN O'BRIEN NEEDS A FRIEND, and, as of TODAY, pardon me, a celebrated author! Her new book, THE WORLD'S WORST ASSISTANT, is out now and we couldn't recommend it more. Go read it!
Sona joins us to help give advice on dealing with (possibly) cheap friends, looking for a partner interested in creating a blended family, and surviving a mother-in-law who refuses to wash her hands after being in the restroom. This is an episode for the ages!
July's cocktail for the AR Social Club is going to be such a delight we really can't wait to share it with you. And we've got something equally fabulous planned for August. If you want to join in on the fun, make sure you visit arsocialclub.com and subscribe before August 1st to be invited to August's Kiki!
And if you're not a drinker, we've still got the most delicious coffee you'll ever taste, pardon me, with Ask Ronna Coffee. An iced Carriage House Blend or Shades of Vanilla is the perfect summer treat. askronnacoffee.com
127 - Thank You and Thank You with Carl Clemons-Hopkins
Good day, dear Carriage House Members! We're here enjoying some delicious Ask Ronna Coffee and giving you a little ASMR with some Queen's Jubilee cookies (Ronna is a royalist, after all), but who are we kidding? We have GOT to get to today's guest. It's none other than our dear friend Carl Clemons-Hopkins! You know them from one of our favorite shows, HACKS, and they're fresh off their Off-Broadway show LESSONS IN SURVIVAL: 1971 at the Vineyard Theatre. Carl joins us to give advice on feeling left behind when friends are coupled up, dealing with a child who might be a budding sociopath, and living with a spouse who doesn't want to share any part of life outside of the house. There's a LOT to cover, and June, or, in this case, July, is truly bustin' out all over!
July's AR Social Club boxes are being packed as we speak, and it's going to be another spectacular month. Are you missing out? Come join us for August! Just subscribe before August 1st at arsocialclub.com
Of course, our gorgeously bottled Negronna is still available for anyone looking for our killer take on a negroni. Get it at negronna.com
And, as if you needed reminding, our Ask Ronna Coffee on ice is a summer treat to savor, pardon me. askronnacoffee.com
126 - Guest Riding In a Car While We're In Our Homes with Jerry O'Connell
Now wait a minute. Not even (Bryan)'s crawdaddy attitude can put a damper on this week's episode, excuse me. We have a genuine superstar in The Carriage House. Joining us this week is none other than actor, director, and co-host of THE TALK on CBS Jerry O'Connell! Jerry, coming at us from the front seat of his '81 Corvette, pardon me, helps us give advice on a sticky step-family situation and a newly widowed mother who's struggling with getting back into the dating pool. With a guest like this, you'll definitely want to wade in these waters!
July's AR Social Club is closed! Members will be receiving their boxes and Kiki invitations later this month, but we've also got something very special planned for August's Club. Be sure to visit arsocialclub.com and subscribe before August 1st to be a part of it all!
125 - One Way Ticket to Scratch with Matt McConkey
June's AR Social Club Kiki was a HUGE success! Thanks to all the members who joined us to learn how to mix a wicked chilcano. Are you sad you missed out? You should be, excuse me. Luckily, there's still time to join the club for July! Be sure to visit arsocialclub.com and subscribe BEFORE JULY 1 in order to get an invitation for the social event of the summer.
124 - Don't Spook the Bunny with Special Guest Host Naomi Ekperigin
Now wait a minute. Our CHIPs over on Patreon already knew this was happening, but Ronna's lifting the information embargo now and letting the cat out of the bag. While (Bryan) was on vacation, our dear friend Naomi Ekperigin not only guest hosted over on Patreon, but she also recorded a Free Feed with Ronna, and we're THRILLED to share it with you this week! As we've mentioned, be sure to watch Naomi's appearance on David Letterman's Netflix show THAT'S MY TIME. Two comedy greats in one place!
Naomi joins Ronna to give advice on a spouse who doesn't want to be a game buddy, a friendship conflict caused by a fiance and his bunny, and some student loan drama putting a strain on a close relationship.
Our first AR Social Club Kiki is THIS FRIDAY at 7pm ET / 4pm PT. It's going to be absolutely spectacular. Believe us when we say you'll regret missing this if you're not a Social Club member. But don't worry...you can always join us for July's Kiki! Be sure to subscribe to the AR Social Club before July 1st to guarantee your spot! arsocialclub.com
Summer's almost here! And nothing quenches a summer thirst like an iced Carriage House Blend or Shades of Vanilla. Delicious Ask Ronna Coffee is still available at askronnacoffee.com
123 - Scampalicious with Jesse Tyler Ferguson
Now wait a minute. This is a HUGE get. How do we keep topping ourselves week after week with these guests? We'll never know, but, once again, you're in for a treat, pardon me. This week we're joined in The Carriage House by none other than Jesse Tyler Ferguson! Of course you know him from MODERN FAMILY, but not only does he have the cutest podcast in the world, GAY PRIDE & PREJUDICE, he's also a TONY Award winning actor as of two days ago, excuse me, for his role in TAKE ME OUT! From accepting a TONY at Radio City to chatting with us in The Carriage House in less than 48 hours. We can't believe it!
Jesse joins us to give advice on work crushes, long distance relationships, and getting back in touch with your true self.
AR Social Club members - keep an eye on your inboxes for your official invites to the monthly Kiki for June. It's going to be a fabulous time. Missing out on the social event of the summer? Don't worry, you can still join for July! Just be sure to subscribe before July 1st. arsocialclub.com
122 - Mr. P-town USA with Ryan O'Connell
Now wait a minute. Of course you know our guests in The Carriage House are the cream of the crop, but our guest this week might be in the midst of having his best week ever, pardon me. We're so excited to welcome none other than actor, writer, and activist Ryan O'Connell! You know Ryan from his delightful Emmy-nominated Netflix show SPECIAL, but he's got TWO new projects coming out this week, excuse me. His new book, JUST BY LOOKING AT HIM is being released TODAY, and his new TV series, a reboot of QUEER AS FOLK, premieres June 9th on Peacock.
Ryan joins us to help give advice about a clingy friend, battling addiction, and always being the one to initiate meeting friends.
The time has passed to join AR Social Club for the month of June, but, luckily for you, there's PLENTY of time to join for July! Just visit arsocialclub.com (or, yes, arsocial.club works too) and subscribe before July 1st for entry.
121 - Classic Cliffhangers: MYOB
Yes, Ronna's a classic...but don't say it to her face (it sounds a little too close to "sage," pardon me). You know what else is classic? These cliffhangers! It's time for another installment of Classic Cliffhangers! For this volume we're using the heading MYOB: Mind Your Own Beeswax. These are letters from people who, rightfully or not, couldn't leave well enough alone. We've got Grimelda the upstairs neighbor, a gay / straight friendship and a perturbed girlfriend, an accidental (and troubling) YouTube post, and our very first Carriage House Dateline mystery.
Tomorrow at 11:59pm PT is the deadline to join the AR Social Club for the month of June! Get those subscriptions in so you can take part in June's Monthly Kiki.
120 - Ask Onna with Onna (& Ryan)
Wait a minute. Is it really him? It is! He's back! After his fabulous trip to England and Scotland, (Bryan) is back for a Carriage House Catch-up for the ages. And when we say "catch-up," we mean it, excuse me. We get so excited to chat that we literally set off the fire alarm. Then it's on to giving advice on a husband's dental issue, a deteriorating relationship with a roommate, a flatulence problem, and, on a more serious note, dealing with a personal loss.
The AR Social Club sign-ups are in full swing! Join what's sure to be the most exclusive club around this summer with gorgeous cocktails and virtual tastings with Ronna (& Bryan) in attendance. Visit arsocialclub.com OR arsocial.club ...they both work!
119 - Jerry Buzzfeed's Giggle Emporium with Special Guest Host Jason Mantzoukas
Now wait a minute. (Bryan) is still galavanting abroad in gorgeous England and Scotland, but have we got a special guest for you this week or what! Joining us in The Carriage House is none other than Nahant, Massachusetts' favorite son Jason Mantzoukas! You know him from literally a million things on TV and in the world of podcasts (HOW DID THIS GET MADE? is a pure delight, excuse me).
Jason joins Ronna to give advice on a very unexpected development in a familial relationship, an upstairs neighbor from Hell, and dealing with working with your ex.
And if you love Jason as much as we do, join us on Patreon on Friday where he'll pull a double-double and act as special guest host once again! patreon.com/askronna
It's finally here! Welcome to refinement. Welcome to luxury. Welcome to the AR Social Club. This is your opportunity to receive expertly curated cocktails every month and spend some quality time with Ronna, Bryan, and other Social Club Glitterati. Visit arsocial.club for details.
118 - Leveling Up with Special Guest Host John Milhiser
(Bryan) is off on his wanderlust walkabout, which means Ronna is in need of a guest host this week. And who better to join her than the man behind one of her favorite Insta accounts, actor and comedian John Milhiser! You know John from his work with UCB, College Humor, and SNL along with shows like DRAMA CLUB and FOURSOME. And you should do yourselves a favor and follow his IG account today.
John joins Ronna to give advice on setting friendship boundaries, dealing with your boyfriend's family, and what to do when a roommate's significant other insists on bringing his dirty dishes to wash in YOUR kitchen sink. It's enough to make you furious fast!
117 - Applebee's After Dark with Mary Holland
You'll have to forgive (Bryan) for being a bit out of sorts this week. He chipped his tooth eating lobster salad that was way too creamy, and, to top it all off, he thinks his dentist is much more chic than he is. But, as Ronna insists, the show must go on, and have we got a show for you this week, excuse me. Joining us in The Carriage House is none other than our dear, dear friend Mary Holland! You know Mary from literally every show on television, pardon me, but she's got a new Netflix movie coming out on May 13 called SENIOR YEAR with Rebel Wilson which we can't wait to see!
Mary helps give advice on dealing with an out of control friend of a friend, adding some luxury to a new apartment that had a recent bedbug infestation (yikes!), and uninviting people to a wedding.
116 - Favoring a White Jean with Jessi Klein
Now wait a minute. Any time we have authors in The Carriage House they become INSTANT best-sellers, and we're sure this week will be no different. We are so fortunate to welcome writer, actor, comedian, and our dear, dear friend Jessi Klein! Jessi is having one of the best weeks of her life, pardon me. Not only does she premiere her new show I LOVE THAT FOR YOU this Friday on Showtime, but her new book I'LL SHOW MYSELF OUT comes out TODAY! What an incredible week!
Jessi joins us in The Carriage House to give advice on refusing a widower's unwanted advances, dealing with a friendship on the ropes, and what to do when a hot, hot man has some funky B.O. We end it with what is perhaps the BEST cliffhanger we've ever received. If it's not enough to make you join us on Patreon, we don't know what to tell you.
115 - Reel Questions From Reel Listeners with Richard Lawson
Now wait a minute. We always joke about how close we are to becoming a legitimate show, but we're long past that. It's already happened, excuse me...especially when we land guests like this. Joining us in The Carriage House this week is our DEAR friend (and Ask Ronna superfan, pardon me) Richard Lawson! Richard is the chief critic for VANITY FAIR (maybe you've heard of it?) and his podcasts LITTLE GOLD MEN and STILL WATCHING are available wherever you get your podcasts.
Superfan Richard joins us for some Gilded Age talk and then helps us give advice on a pair of vacation dramas (one with family, one with friends) as well as giving some ideas for groomsmen activities at a wedding.
114 - The Whole Megillah with Alex Edelman
Now wait a minute. Ronna has a lot to say this week, and not only because she just learned about Mac OS's Do Not Disturb Function. We're so excited to welcome to The Carriage House none other than writer and comedian Alex Edelman! If you live in New York you've no doubt heard about his SMASH hit Off-Broadway solo show JUST FOR US. It's currently enjoying a sold out run at Soho Playhouse, but, lucky for us, it'll be moving to the Greenwich House Theater starting June 13th for a 6 week limited run! You're crazy if you're in New York and miss a chance to see this show. justforusshow.com
Alex, who's such a fan of Ask Ronna that he's coming to us from quarantine as he recovers from COVID, excuse me, joins us to give advice on accepting your adult children's life choices and dealing with religious differences in a relationship. All in all, a great show!
113 - Dunaway Vindicated! with Kate Aurthur
Now wait a minute. Don't start with Ronna that "oh, boo hoo, there was no Oscar show this year," ok? That'll be back next year. But this week we've got a Hollywood insider in The Carriage House that you wouldn't believe. To help us navigate this rollercoaster of a week in Entertainment we've got none other than Editor-at-Large of Variety Kate Aurthur! A legitimate entertainment journalist, excuse me! After she helps us unpack the Oscars, she lends us a hand in giving advice on friends who are insensitive about a medical issue, an expat's relationship dilemma, and owning a house outside of New York City while still working there. After you hear this episode, you'll want to keep all of our names in your mouth!
112 - Hashtag Par-wee!
It's another Carriage House Catch-Up this week as Ronna (& Bryan) talk everything from parking at the FOX Lot (no Galaxy parking for Ronna, excuse me) to London to Baby Steve's impeccable genes. Then we've got some spectacular follow-ups about the infamous Cathy/Becky Costa Rica trip and the overseas French gendarme lover. And of course we don't forget to give some top notch advice on dressing for a red carpet event and meeting your boyfriend's 18 year old daughter for the first time. It's quintessential Carriage House fun!
111 - Let's Call Her Chicago
We're still impressed with the caliber of guests that we've had in The Carriage House the past few weeks. We can't wait for our dinner date with Sandra Bernhard in New York, but until then, we've got a Carriage House Catch-Up for the ages for you this week! We cover everything from London theatre to sexting to Love Is Blind to Real Housewives and more. Plus we give advice on a friendship that may be falling apart and regaining some perspective after an eventful few years of work and family. Now if only (Bryan) can get his and Ronna's names right...
110 - A Kind-Hearted Ruminator with Mike Schur
Now wait a minute. The caliber of guests we've had in The Carriage House this year is truly remarkable, to absolutely no one's surprise, pardon me. We're so excited to welcome, for his second visit, no less, writer/producer extraordinaire Mike Schur! Of course you know him from THE OFFICE, PARKS AND REC, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, THE GOOD PLACE, and a million other things, but he's also a New York Times best-selling author, excuse me. His book HOW TO BE PERFECT is out now and is absolutely worth your time!
Mike joins us in The Carriage House again to help give advice on dating someone who also dated a coworker, dealing with a sister who has a serious problem with hoarding, and navigating a long relationship that needs some changes.
109 - The Mensch and the Eshet Chayil with Sandra Bernhard
Now wait a minute. We've had icons in The Carriage House before. We're no strangers to rubbing elbows with legends, pardon me, but we've really outdone ourselves this week. We're THRILLED to welcome to The Carriage House none other than the legendary Sandra Bernhard! Of course you know her from her iconic comedy shows and TV appearances, but if you haven't seen her perform live, you're missing out. Those of you in the New York tri-state can catch her THIS WEEKEND at the beautiful Westport Country Playhouse in Westport, CT.
Sandra joins us to give advice on announcing a break-up on social media, dealing with neighbors' dogs and their doo, and how to end a professional relationship with your stylist.
108 - The Numinous Circle with Special Guest Host Mitch Silpa
Now wait a minute. (Bryan) is off conquering Hollywood again this week, but Ronna is joined in The Carriage House by none other than her dear friend Mitch Silpa! You know Mitch from BRIDESMAIDS, his many appearances on ALL RISE (and a million other shows), as well as his work with the equally hilarious Drew Droege (TWO OLD QUEENS WHO'VE JUST A MINUTE TO CATCH UP). For those of you in LA, Mitch and Drew are doing a live show TONIGHT (Tuesday) at Dynasty Typewriter.
Mitch joins Ronna to give advice on trying to get house keys back from an ex who's ghosted you, just how truthful to be in a job interview, and living with people who don't understand your sense of humor.
Patreon Amuse-Bouche: Stinky Ball Man (Patreon 106)
Ronna had to go out of town for personal reasons this past week, but we've got something fun for you none the less. The response over last week's cliffhanger about the boyfriend from hell was OFF. THE. CHARTS. So we're giving you a little taste (a "snack" as Ronna puts it) of the advice (Bryan) and producer Adam gave on the most recent Patreon. A LOT of you commented about this, and we'll certainly have more to say about it when Ronna (& Bryan) return next week with an all new Free Feed episode. Until then, enjoy!
And if you want to hear the rest of this episode, you can! Join us on Patreon at patreon.com/askronna
107 - Ronna Glickman: Truth Machine
Now wait a minute. We can't thank those of you who joined us at the live show enough. We haven't had that much fun in ages, and yes, we're sure Conor's cocktail helped! We really should have taken this week off to recuperate, but we're here with a FANTASTIC show nonetheless! We give advice on workplace etiquette regarding a pregnant coworker, whether it's ok to go "29 crazy" even though you're in your early 30s, and dealing with an unpaid internship. Plus Ronna has the most visceral reaction to a cliffhanger we've ever heard. This is one for the books!
106 - New Year, New Boobs, New Me with Special Guest Host Jean Villepique
Now wait a minute. Ronna is beside herself because it seems (Bryan) isn't quite as lonely as he lets on. He had to take a "personal" day today (keep your eye out for any lobster boats on the bay that seem to be rocking a bit more than the others). In any event, we're so fortunate to have the absolutely delightful Jean Villepique as a guest host today! You know her from AP BIO on Peacock and about a million other things, excuse me. Jean joins Ronna in The Carriage House to give advice on breast reduction surgery, an impending break-up, and navigating a dear friend's health crisis.
This weekend is the 2nd Annual Valentine's Live Show! If you haven't gotten your tickets yet, NOW IS THE TIME! Games, prizes, surprises, advice...we have it all. Go to askronnalive.com and get your tickets! The show is Saturday 2/12 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.
105 - Clairefontaine by Night with Adam Ellis
Now wait a minute. Ronna (& Bryan)'s buttons may be getting pushed by this damn Zoom recording voice, but that doesn't change the fact that we have yet another Ask Ronna superfan on the show this week! We've got none other than comic artist, author, and soon to be movie mogul, excuse me, Adam Ellis! Adam joins us in The Carriage House to help give advice on a sizzling relationship with international intrigue, navigating family conflict, and individual dynamics within a group of friends.
Tickets are on sale now for the 2nd Annual Valentine's Show with Ronna (& Bryan)! Get your tickets today at askronnalive.com ...and don't forget that all Patreon members will have access to a private Patreon-only suite where they can have a watch party with their fellow CHIPs! Saturday 2/12...be there!
104 - Illustrious Industrious with Peter Kim
Look, there's no need to be modest here. Ronna looks fabulous today and she's fully embracing it. Plus we also have a show that we know you'll fully embrace too, pardon me. Joining us in The Carriage House is actor and producer Peter Kim! You know him from the hit Netflix movie THE FORTY-YEAR-OLD VERSION and Billy Eichner's upcoming rom-com BROS. Peter is also Creative Producer for the National Asian American Theatre Company and has a production opening soon at the Public Theater in New York called OUT OF TIME (go see it, New Yorkers!). Peter joins us to help give advice on how to tell a friend you don't feel comfortable attending their wedding, ideas on remodeling and sprucing up your house, and what to do when you think your new neighbors might actually be spies.
Don't forget to catch Ronna (& Bryan) this week on Bitch Sesh LIVE! They're boozing it up with the whole gang on Thursday 1/27 at 5:30pm PT.
103 - Fap Fap Fap!
Do NOT start with Ronna today. She's in no mood, and with (Bryan) in rare form and literally spilling the tea, you can be guaranteed one of the naughtiest and most mischievous Free Feeds we've had in a while. It's just Ronna (& Bryan) this week, and, after some follow-ups and a quick dive into the private lives of raccoons, they give advice on dealing with relationship issues while co-parenting a dog and how to look and feel your best for a big event.
Both Ronna (& Bryan) will be on Bitch Sesh LIVE on January 27th at 5:30pm Pacific. It's a drink-and-watch, and they're providing everyone with Negronnas! And you can still get yours at negronna.com today.
102 - Becky Now, Jenny Later with Scarlett Curtis
Our new year just got better...he's back! (Bryan) is back from vacation, and it sounds like he had quite the time, excuse me. And if that's not enough, we're so excited to be joined in The Carriage House this week by a true Ask Ronna superfan: writer and activist Scarlett Curtis! Scarlett's books of curated essays, FEMINISTS DON'T WEAR PINK & OTHER LIES and IT'S NOT OK TO FEEL BLUE & OTHER LIES are award winning best sellers and absolutely worth the read. Scarlett joins us to give advice on some major birthday drama between friends, a friend's child with problematic beliefs, and a mother with a dirty house.
101 - Scrappy Little Scranton Demeanor with Adam Rippon
Now wait a minute. If you think we're resting on our laurels in the new year, you've got another think coming, excuse me. We're joined by not one, but TWO Adams this week. We've got producer Adam O'Byrne filling in for (Bryan) while he's on vacation, and our special guest is none other than former US National Champion and Olympic bronze medalist in figure skating, pardon me, Adam Rippon! The Adams join us to give advice on running into your ex on the street, dealing with a klutzy boyfriend, and what to do when you're worried about a roommate who may be living beyond their means. If you didn't love Adam Rippon before today, you will from here on out, believe us.
And don't forget to watch Adam's expert analysis on NBC next month during their coverage of the Winter Olympics in Beijing!
Ronnukah Blend and Vienna in Winter were HUGE successes, but, alas, with the holidays over, they're no longer available. Lucky for you we still have some of the best coffee around with our Carriage House Blend and Shades of Vanilla. Order yours at askronnacoffee.com and remember that subscribers $3 per bag and that shipping is always free on domestic orders.
100 - The Little Things You Do Together with Frank Rich
Now wait a minute. We've reached a true Carriage House Milestone. Our 100th Free Feed episode is here, and it might be the fanciest this show has ever been, excuse me. Joining us this week is none other than acclaimed journalist, author, and producer Frank Rich! Frank was with the New York Times from 1980 to 2011 and is currently writer at large for New York Magazine. He's also the producer of two HBO hits you may have heard of, pardon me, VEEP and SUCCESSION. After regaling us with stories of the late, great Stephen Sondehim, Frank helps us give advice on dealing with a breach of dinner party etiquette, what to do when a parent becomes too influenced with the pseudoscience of the "well being" movement, and how to get your partner on the same page when it comes to parenting.
As we've said, when it's gone, it's gone...so be sure to get your Vienna in Winter blend at Ask Ronna Coffee before it's too late! It's getting rave, rave reviews, and you can get yours at askronnacoffee.com
99 - A Dried, Brandy-Soaked Fruit Convention with Jason Butler Harner
This week we present the Free Feed to you, as Jean Dujardin says at the end of THE ARTIST, "with pleasure." We've got a real, honest to God actor in The Carriage House today, excuse me. You know him from OZARK, you know him from SCANDAL, you know him from RAY DONOVAN and a million other things: it's Jason Butler Harner! Jason, who turns out to be quite the tea spiller, pardon me, joins us to give advice on handling a decades long friendship drama, what to do when a friend makes a handcrafted gift for you that you hate, and how to deal with an unmotivated, weed-smoking boyfriend.
We've had some chilly mornings in Marblehead recently, but we barely noticed because of our downright scrumptious holiday coffee blends. Ronna beats the freeze with her Ronnukah Blend and (Bryan) couldn't be cozier with his Vienna in Winter. Get yours today at askronnacoffee.com
And for those chilly Marblehead nights? Our friend Conor from Fiasco Wine and Spirits has us covered. Whether it's our Old Fashioned or SuperGay Martini gift sets or a gorgeous bottle of Negronna, we know how to take the edge off of a long winter's day. Get a set for your friends, and one for you, at negronna.com
98 - Better Than It Googles with Fortune Feimster
Now wait a minute. Things may be getting tense between (Bryan) and his new nemesis Steve, but that doesn't change the fact that we have a SPECTACULAR guest in The Carriage House this week, excuse me. Joining us is comedian, actor, and writer Fortune Feimster! You know her from THE MINDY PROJECT, her Sirius XM show WHAT A JOKE WITH PAPA AND FORTUNE, and her hysterical Netflix comedy special SWEET & SALTY. Fortune joins us to give advice on some serious wedding dress drama, coping with a pet's untimely passing, and dealing with a bottle of wine that may or may not be cursed.
It's chilly out there, but the nip in the air is no match for our DELICIOUS holiday coffee blends from Ask Ronna Coffee. Whether it's the gelt infused Ronnukah Blend or cinnamon goodness of Vienna in Winter, they'll both start your holiday mornings off right. Get yours today at askronnacoffee.com
Of course, if you need something a bit...harder, shall we say, we have just the thing. Our gift sets from Fiasco Wine and Spirits in Brooklyn are absolutely divine. A Black Manhattan, an Old Fashioned, a SuperGay Martini, a gorgeous bottle of champagne, or a boozy Negronna...we have it all. Visit negronna.com today.
97 - Over the Bowl with Michaela Watkins
Look, we know it's exciting. We know this is our first Free Feed of the new season with a special guest, excuse me. And we know we're back to gifting some fabulous giveaways to a lucky letter writer, pardon me...but Ronna has to address something with (Bryan) immediately, and it involves the literally dozens of messages she's received asking about (Bryan)'s skincare regimen. Inquiring minds want to know! But we're also SO lucky to have with us as our first guest in Season 3, pardon me, our dear, dear friend Michaela Watkins! You know her from WEREWOLVES WITHIN, CASUAL, SNL, the upcoming Hulu series THE DROPOUT, and about a million other things. Michaela joins us today to give advice on a rollercoaster of an engagement, a husband's terrifying sneeze, and a missed birthday.
The holidays are officially in full swing, and nothing will comfort you more than a delicious cup of Ronnukah Blend or Vienna in Winter. Both of our limited time holiday blends are available at askronnacoffee.com through the end of the year!
And don't forget the FABULOUS gift boxes curated by our dear friend Conor at Fiasco Wine and Spirits in Brooklyn. Our Suds 'n Spuds pack is selling like hotcakes, and you can't get any classier than the Black Manhattan or SuperGay Martini gift sets. All are available at negronna.com
96 - Don't Take the Bait from Crazytown
Happy Thanksgivukkah! There's so much happening in The Carriage House this week! Thanksgiving, of course, is Thursday. Hanukkah begins on Sunday. And Steve's nursery is in the process of being redesigned with the most gorgeous De Gournay wallpaper you've ever seen, excuse me. And, if that weren't enough, we're back on the Free Feed with our first Carriage House Catch-Up since August! After some great follow-ups and reviews (five stars only, pardon me), we give advice on what to do when you hate your husband's dogs, how to deal with a real wet blanket at work, and navigating a throuple's body odor issue.
Ronnukah is still in full swing, and that means our delicious Ask Ronna Coffee holiday blends are ready to order! Enjoy a rich, chocolatey Ronnukah Blend or a crisp, cinnamon Vienna in Winter. They're a perfect addition to any holiday and can be found, along with our classic Carriage House Blend and Shades of Vanilla, at askronnacoffee.com
Need a beverage with more than caffeine? Our Ronna-approved gift sets from Conor at Fiasco Wine and Spirits are perfect! Of course there's the Suds 'n Spuds package, with the most fabulous bottle of champagne along with chocolate goodies from See's Candies and Ronna's family latke recipe...but there's also the Black Manhattan / Old Fashioned set and the SuperGay Vodka Martini set. And what holiday table is complete without a gorgeous bottle of Negronna at the center? Get them today at negronna.com
95. Ronnukah 2021 (Part 2)
We're baaack! And just in time for our most anticipated episode of the year. It's Ronnukah! After Ronna drops an announcement for the ages (to say she had her hands full during her time off is an understatement), we give our suggestions for the perfect holiday gift at any price point. In fact, we have so much to say and share that we had to split Ronnukah into TWO episodes, excuse me. So if you missed us during our hiatus from the Free Feed, you'll get double your pleasure on our return this week! Happy Ronnukah!
And video of the entire episode is available exclusively to our Sauna Privileges members on Patreon. Do you want to watch (Bryan) model his gift suggestions? Become a Sauna Privileges member today!
Yes, Ronna had a busy time off...but that included spending time in the lab again. We couldn't be happier to announce not one, but TWO holiday coffee blends available this season! Of course, we're bringing back last season's Ronnukah Blend, the rich, chocolate hazelnut, full-bodied organic mocha that was such a hit in The Carriage House. It's still the only Hanukkah inspired coffee on the market, pardon me. But, as if that weren't enough, we've also got a BRAND NEW holiday blend. Fresh out of the lab, we're pleased to offer you Vienna in Winter. This cinnamon-dusted confection will transport you to the snowy streets of Vienna and its famous winter markets at the most magnificent time of year. And the smell? Divine. Combine our new holiday blends with our delicious stand-bys, Carriage House Blend and Shades of Vanilla, and you've got some of the most delicious coffee around and an AMAZING gift for the holidays. Visit askronnacoffee.com to order yours!

Patreon Amuse-Bouche: Sandra Lee Wishes (Patreon 91)
Here it is! Another little bite-sized portion of our most recent Patreon for you to nibble on this week. To hear the rest, join us on Patreon!
And don't forget, next week Ronna (& Bryan) return to the Free Feed with Ronnukah 2021! We've got our gift recommendations ready for you, and if you have any gifting questions or ideas, be sure to let us know at askronna@gmail.com
As for the Amuse-Bouche on the Free Feed this week, we let you know that we've got some exciting things in store in The Carriage House this holiday season. Ronna's been in the lab and we're putting our little elves to work to make sure you all have a special holiday courtesy of Ronna (& Bryan), excuse me. And if that weren't enough, we've also got a fabulous show! After a follow-up from the young lovers from Patreon 87, which leads to a second round of advice, we finish up with advice on what to do when you think your brother-in-law is lazy and immature.
Patreon Amuse-Bouche: Carriage House Costume Party (Patreon 90)
It's time for another little amuse-bouche Patreon preview, but be sure to listen for the VERY special announcement at the top. We think you'll like it, excuse me.
Now, wait a minute...anyone watching on video will have to pardon the darkness at the top of the show. We're just doing a dramatic reveal of Ronna's (& Bryan)'s Halloween costumes for this year, and, trust us, it'll be worth it! See if you can guess what they are before the lights come up (longtime listeners of the show have an advantage here). After the big reveal and a quick catch-up, we're off to the races with some advice on an uncertain and ambiguous relationship and what to do when a good friend has chosen to stop wearing deodorant. It'll be a great way to start your Halloween weekend!
This is just a taste of what's on the menu over on Patreon. Wanna eat the whole meal? Join us on Patreon! patreon.com/askronna
Patreon Amuse-Bouche: They Look Wank, They Bake Wank (Patreon 89)
It's time for another Free Feed preview of our most recent Patreon episode!
We're beyond excited about Halloween here in Marblehead. (Bryan) is getting his Chucky costume ready, though he has a second costume he's preparing specifically for The Carriage House, excuse me. Until then, we've got another absolutely fantastic show for you this week! After we gab about Phantom of the Opera and the travesty of banned American sprinkles in the UK, we give advice on a pair of husband related questions: how to handle a video game-playing spouse and what to do when you feel as though your significant other isn't carrying his weight around the house.
To hear this fabulousness in its entirety, join us on Patreon! patreon.com/askronna
Patreon Amuse-Bouche: Bad Art Friend & The Annual Carriage House Halloween Candy Tasting with Paul F. Tompkins (Patreon 88)
Now wait a minute. The reaction to this past week's Patreon episode was INCREDIBLE, pardon me, and we couldn't agree more. Was Paul F. Tompkins a delight? Of course he was. Was our discussion of the Bad Art Friend from the New York Times everything we said it would be and more? Of course it was. And was our Halloween Candy Tasting a high/low treat of monumental proportions? You better believe it was.
Here's a little taste of what you missed if you aren't a Carriage House member. Wanna hear the whole thing? Why wouldn't you! Join us on Patreon to listen to (or watch!) what can only be described as an episode for the ages.
Patreon Amuse-Bouche: The Twink with a Clairvoyant Streak (Patreon 87)
It's another amuse-bouche this week to give you a taste of our most recent episode over on Patreon! This is an excerpt from this past weekend, "The Twink with a Clairvoyant Streak" (Patreon 87). As the title suggests, there's a lot to talk about.
The town of Marblehead may be making a racket outside The Carriage House today with their tree trimming crew (which Ronna doesn't need since she has her own people to do that, pardon me), but that's not stopping us from hosting an absolutely fabulous show. After some helpful tips about shopping in Europe and some clarification on whether or not Ronna is mentioned in the Pandora Papers, we offer some advice on what to do after a very awkward OB-GYN visit, how to let a friend know you want to keep the relationship platonic, and navigating the insecurities of young love.
Wanna hear the rest? Of course! Head over to patreon.com/askronna to get this episode in its entirety.
Patreon Amuse-Bouche: The (W)hole Shebang (Patreon 86)
Hello, dears! This week we thought we'd try something a little different on the Free Feed. Here's an excerpt from our latest Patreon episode from this past weekend, "The (W)hole Shebang" (Patreon 86). Think of it as an amuse-bouche to whet your appetite for the main course, pardon me.
Ronna doesn't even know where to begin this week. She and (Bryan) are still up in arms about last week's "best friend" letter, but they eventually work it out and get to some VERY interesting questions! After several follow-ups, including the best P.S. we've EVER received, Ronna (& Bryan) give advice on a delicate situation involving a stranger's cremated remains and a supportive mother who found text messages on her son's phone that suggest he may be questioning his sexuality.
Wanna hear the rest of this fabulous episode? You can! Join us in The Carriage House at patreon.com/askronna
Yadvina's Keys to The Carriage House: Noelle, Shayleen, Rita & Tex (Patreon 45)
We're back inside The Carriage House for a Patreon Sneak Peek thanks to Yadvina. This week we travel back to the holiday season of 2020.
The low winter sun is shining through the windows while we have a delightful Carriage House Catch-Up, excuse me. Today is all about advice, so after our cliffhanger about a family's gift-giving drama we answer questions about exploring sexuality later in life, whether or not to tell your best friend about her cheating boyfriend, and dealing with your friend when you have a troubled relationship with his fiancee.
If you're missing Ronna (& Bryan) during their Free Feed hiatus, you can always join them on Patreon where you'll find them BOTH (Ronna's back!) dishing out ALL NEW EPISODES every Friday! Just $5 a month gets you inside, or, for a more luxurious experience, $10 gets you SAUNA PRIVILEGES with video of every episode. patreon.com/askronna
