En primer lugar, Andrea enfatiza la importancia de la creación de redes a través de plataformas como LinkedIn o la búsqueda activa de mentores. Al reconocer el poder de construir conexiones significativas, Andrea alienta a las personas a aprovechar estas redes como recursos valiosos para el crecimiento personal y profesional.

En segundo lugar, Andrea defiende la identificación y resolución de brechas de habilidades. As we continue our Day 3 of our May Madness Career talks this month, today many young adults have NOT yet decided on their career of choice, and for that we say: DO NOT WORRY! Marcelo Rondon walks-thru his steps and how he made his career of choice by getting his "feet wet".  We discuss his success as an young entrepreneur as well as how multiple job opportunities obtained during his self exploration phase landed him more understanding of the best career for him. Finally, setting your career priority list and applying your knowledge/strengths to true career experiences is a critical step to making decisions on the best Career (or Careers) suits you!

We explore the way phone and video interviews have specific advantages vs traditional face2face, effective networking should be considered when reaching out and applying your remote skills or taking the time to bridge the GAP of skills is key. As a recent University of Florida graduate, Marcelo Rondon mentions the importance of putting together a plan, even if it includes your "slack" time! Marcelo Rondon is a returning guest, a recent graduate from University of Florida, is aphotographer, graphic designer, film-maker, brand identity consultant, and writer. His passion is telling stories through any medium that represents them best under his personal brand C10ud. We sit down to talk about his journey in starting multi-projects from ground work efforts to starting his own company. We break it down to understand realistic milestones required in order to achieve true career goals.

Marcelo Rondon talks about the importance of building your personal brand. Creating your portfolio and opportunities by simply putting yourself out there. Get yourself noticed, he mentions. Use Wordpress or Vix and start publishing your work - and its FREE! Marcelo mentions his job opportunities came from social media and word of mouth. Show people who you are, what is your creative process and what you can develop for them. 

As a future university graduate, Marcelo Rondon also mentions how he modified his student resume to a professional resume and even though he hates to admit, Linkedin is a good source of recruitment! Meanwhile, do not forget to leverage on your network, get feedback from those experts around: friends, students, peers and professors! Give more than TAKE is the KEY here - build relationships that will ultimately allow you to build your credibility and expertise. Finally, stop talking and start doing - your personal brand, your professional portfolio. Thank you Marcelo for your advice!
