Initially, I created Peterson Virtual Assistant to be a boutique VA firm that served online businesses with administrative tasks, such as email inbox management & social media scheduling.
But after being trained and trusted by some of the most amazing business owners and online coaches in the game, I learned how to strategically structure free challenges to lead into online course launches. I can create the email sequences behind the scenes and most importantly, I “dot the I’s and cross the T’s” for you on the backend, so you can focus on doing what you do best - creating.

What month is it? Nah just playing...we are starting to feel like we are coming up from under a rock, but we don't want to get too used to this feeling. We have been on a rollercoaster and we can say this is the wackiest ride in the wilderness. We are all navigating new waters on so many levels but we feel like (now looking back) we have learned so much about ourselves personally, professionally and as parents. We are going through the 3 P's today and breaking down what has helped us get unstuck along the way. Buckle up, let's go for another round of Firehose Chats with Brooke + Heather.
Sahar Martinez, LMFT, is back and using her voice to educate us on important topics like diversity, inclusion and anti-racism. More than ever this is a conversation that needs to continue as we educate ourselves on the true experiences of BIPOC in America, unlearning much of our history as told in schools. Over the recent months, we have been listening, learning and making changes in our own families and wanted to bring this conversation to our community with someone who is actively doing the work to amplify voices that matter. Sahar talks about growing up in Orange County with immigrant parents, her experiences after 9-11 and how we can support the BIPOC friends in our personal lives. We are grateful to Sahar for taking the time to educate us on ways to bring the importance of diversity and antiracism into our daily lives to make a lasting impact today and in the generation of our children. The work truly starts in the home and even further Sahar shares how it starts within.
We had the pleasure of interviewing the beautiful soul, Jaycina Almond, mama to 3 year old Syx and the founder of the Tender Foundation. This woman is so smart and deeply in tune with the needs of others. She was put on this earth to make a difference. Jaycina joins us to talk about the mission behind her organization and what essentials mamas really need. Mothers come to Tender in times of crises and they emerge empowered and secure. Tune in to hear Jaycina's story and how you can get involved to make a difference today and into the future.
Tender Foundation is an Atlanta nonprofit empowering all mamas by making essentials accessible. The Tender Foundation actively works towards ensuring that the fundamental needs of our mamas are met. Through our small but impactful initiative we are able to make a difference.
We're back and we are crazier than ever. We have lost it! Grab your favorite snack and tune in to this week's Firehose chat. We’re catching up on all things! Warning: this is a silly episode - we didn’t plan to have a lot to say then realized it was about 30 mins into recording that felt like 2. We love our girl time - we’ve missed you! Pour your fave cocktail (it’s cool if it’s 10am that’s called brunch) and let’s catch up!

Oh baby! This is one we’ve been excited to share for a while now. We met this week’s guest, during our own birthing journey and love how passionate and knowledgeable this mama is about childbirth - and most importantly supporting MAMA through it all! Glow® Birth & Body and The Birth Deck founder, Sara Lyon, joins us this week to discuss methods of childbirth, comfort techniques, how covid-19 has shifted things, her own birth story for the first time 😱, and some insight on why postpartum care is essential and must change! We’re personally so passionate about pre and post natal care. From mental health to physical care, as a nation, we’re lacking the support mamas need! This episode only scratches the surface so we can’t wait to have Sara back in the future! Happy listening and we’re sending all the good birthing and post birth vibes to all the new mamas to be 🤗.
Meet Sara Lyon
A SoCal native, Sara graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in sociology. Sara holds diplomas in orthopedic massage, prenatal massage and Shiatsu.

I LOVE THIS WORK BECAUSE...
I gain a rare insight into how we are all ultimately connected in our human experience; birth is one of two undeniable links to the universal picture.
On today's episode we explore a variety of topics that have impacted us in our growth as entrepreneurs, mothers, wives and how this time "safer at home" has made us think introspectively about what this season is teaching us. We are starting to come up for air as we are slowly bringing some normalcy back into our lives, with this break in the clouds we are starting to see areas of our lives under a new light. We are prioritizing what matters most to us and it's feeling good. Today we talk about the unrealistic expectations of finding balance, looking at the boss babe movement from another angle and how we are feeling in this very moment. Priorities shift in different seasons of our life...it is never all things firing on all cylinders and that's ok. Tune-in to hear what Covid is teaching us in this season.
We recorded with one of our dream guests, Erin Claire Jones, a Human Design Expert and it was so interesting we had to launch it as a bonus episode because we couldn't wait to share it. For those of you who haven't heard of Human Design this episode will break it all down as we dive into each type, our respective types and how to use this knowledge of your wired in business, relationships and even parenting. If you want to order your blueprint to learn more about your unique Human Design we have a code for you in the episode.
Human Design has become one of our favorite things. It gave us the permission to feel settled with ourselves and how we were built to do life. Those things we felt weird or tension with quickly made sense and we felt at home. CRAZY RIGHT? Don't go thinking this is all woo woo, even Brooke, as we know Heather is the more hippy one, has fallen in love with this philosophy. She shares why on the podcast!

The show must go on... but not necessarily in the same way!
Meet Danielle. She is this weeks podcast guest and also Heather's magical Intuitive Business and Spiritual Mentor. For the last 10 years she has been helping people make radical life changes, but knew this was her calling since before she was old enough to legally order a glass of Pinot Grigio.
After earning both a master’s and doctorate in psychology, (Psy.D). she realized her own dream as a life coach and began pursuing soul-alignment through mentoring and listening to people like you share your fears, frustrations…and re-introducing individuals to the dreams that had been forgotten or put on the shelf.
We chatted with Danielle about what it's like for business owners during this time, what is the most important work we can be doing right now and how can we really make things flow in our lives?
She spends 6 hours a day listening to entrepreneurs and business professionals like us ask the big questions and today she's sharing her knowledge with us!
Subscribe to our Newsletter to download the PDF that you can follow along as we chat about her philosophy around "Feel Good = Things Flow." We love these freebies on her website too.
ABOUT DR. DANIELLE DOWLING
I’ve been helping people make radical life changes since before I was old enough to legally order a glass of Pinot Grigio.
I have always been fascinated by human potential and spirituality. I was 9 years old when my father began to introduce me to Zig Ziglar, Norman Vincent Peale, Tony Robbins and the work of Esther and Jerry Hicks…
It is my life’s work to help people make dramatic, transformative shifts into their inner greatness.
I later earned both my master’s and my doctorate in psychology, (Psy.D). I realized my own dream as a life coach in Los Angeles, pursuing soul-alignment through mentoring and speaking throughout the wellness community.
For the past 10 years, I’ve spent six hours a day listening to people like you share your fears and your frustrations…and re-introducing them to the dreams that had been forgotten or put on the shelf.
(That’s over 15,000 hours of coaching that has allowed me to develop high levels of compassion, and the necessary skill-set to help my clients get exactly what they want in life!)
I have the raw talent, intuition, and experience to help you release all limitation and have the greatest experience of yourself possible.
I’ve done it successfully – not only in my own life, but for a long list of clients – from celebrities, to entrepreneurs, to ambitious professionals, to stay-at-home-moms.
Speaking of moms…
I am one.
I know what it’s like to always be taking care of everyone else, and to feel like you’ll never have the time or luxury of actually enjoying a cup of coffee, let alone pursuing your own dreams…(am I right?)
Is anyone else losing their mind….we might be slightly! But some days we feel like rockstars so who knows what really is going on. On today’s episode, which we are affectionately calling a “Firehose Chat”, we go through what we are feeling and doing right now. It’s a convo that is more timely and less planned as we know this is what our community needs right now...candid conversations about our new normal. Get ready for the top 5 things we are telling ourselves to do to manage the daily! We are surviving and mama ain’t learning a new language with “all this extra time” but tune in to see what we are doing.
Surprise! In the midst of WFH/momming so hard aka our every day bc "social distancing" is apparently what we should have been calling it from the start, we taped a VERY SPECIAL episode for you!
We’re thrilled to have Tejal Patel, a divorce attorney turned mindfulness + mediation coach for families and author of "Meditation for Kids" on today’s podcast. Don’t know how to meditate? No problem! We dive into that too!
Stay well mamas. We’re thinking of you during this time of uncertainty - but yet remember these moments together can be a blessing. We’re being forced to slow down. To prioritize. Let’s hone in on what this time is trying to teach us. #kidscanmeditate #meditation #mindfulness #bewell

This is a very special episode and so thankful we get to share it today!
MEET PARENTING COACH HAYLEY GOLDBERG LMFT, FOUNDER OF HEART OF CONNECTING
I specialize in helping parents of toddlers and preschoolers enjoy a loving, happier, calmer, more confident parenting experience with their little ones. My approach is based on respect and compassion for parents. There is no judgement with me because parenting isn’t easy. We are all trying to find our way and none of us are perfect. My work is tailored to helping parents get to the root of their parenting frustrations and challenges and teaching them positive, collaborative strategies that build warm, trusting relationships between parents and children. I also work with couples to help them understand and respect their parenting differences and give them tools to develop a partnership in their parenting. When parents collaborate on their parenting and cooperate with each other they raise kids who feel both understood and connected, and family life is more peaceful, relaxed, and loving, and parenting is more FUN! I have been a parent for 23 years and I have guided parents for over 14 years as a therapist, parent educator, and parenting coach. I have been working hands on in early childhood (toddlers and preschoolers) for the past 8 years working with parents, kids, preschool teachers, directors, and home daycare providers. I am blessed with an amazing husband and we are the proud parents of three wonderful and incredible kids. No job has been harder or more rewarding than being a mom and I whole heartedly understand the struggles, fears and challenges that come with being a loving and caring parent. When I am not with my family or supporting parents, you can find me enjoying coffee with friends, reading articles or a parenting book that has caught my attention, or walking my four German Shepherds – hours and hours of walking!
Back off mom guilt! Wouldn't it be amazing if it was that easy to make the ever looming mom guilt go away and go away for good?
On today's episode we get into how we've fallen victim to mom shaming ourselves and what we are doing to break the vicious cycle. It isn't easy, we will be the first to admit, but we are here to help each other let the positivity flow and encourage each other when we are in the inevitable downward spiral.
Mama's we see you...you're doing a great job!
The girl boss mentality has taken off over the years and as these girls transitioned into becoming mothers, that hustle mentality hasn’t left much space to step back. Instead it’s transitioned to pushing women to mother and work harder. We’re going to dive into what’s been working and what we’re looking to shift with our work hard, play hard mentality.
Tune in as we share our soul around the challenges of being a momprenuer and how social media has played a part in this.

Today we're doing something a little different and spotlighting a podcast we were a guest on! Tune in to this episode with Sara Bacon, the host of Hi Friend where we chat about why the "grass is greener" game is pointless and why the phrase "just you wait" helps no one. It was a blast being on her podcast and can't wait for our next girl chat!
This week's episode is going to be a special one. We're sitting down with a big time investigative news producer and she's sharing how she leaves her work at the door to be present with her family. Being in an intense job like hers or the medical field, traveling, law enforcement or healing practices you see and feel things that are different than normal work “fire drills”. It's heavy! How do you avoid bringing that home?
This is an EXCITING episode! Dare I say, one you have been waiting for? We are all on the edge of our seat to hear about new baby #2 tips and tricks and relish in all the snuggle stories. This week Heather joins us on her maternity leave to dish all things baby girl Sutton. We discuss everything from her delivery story to introducing Vaughn to his new sister, to family transition with baby #2! I ask her all the questions about what I can expect for when my lil girl arrives in about a month. Can't get enough of all the deets? Visit our blog where Heather shares the full delivery story.
You gotta have faith faith aaaa faith... BABY! George Micheal knew what was up. Life tests you, it's challenging and it's so beautiful. We are big believers in needing to have faith to get through these phases of life. Today on the podcast we're talking about the moments we had to believe it would work out, why faith and spirituality help us through and our practices around trusting in the process.
YOU GUYS, we’re featured as guests on another podcast and can’t wait to share the episode with you! We hopped on with Kanika Chadda Gupta, the host of That’s Total Momsense, to talk all things mompreneurship and how we find our rhythm in this chaotic world that we created.. #thejuggleisreal
Plus this Friday, Kanika will share her top 5 tips on parenting twins, plus one all under 2 years old on the blog. We can’t even imagine! For years Kanika prided herself on having mastered the art of work-life balance, dedicating time to her career, husband, friends, dance, working out, and cooking… until she became a mom of twins and had a newborn a year later, that is. #holyhandsfull Her priorities changed and her world went through a paradigm shift.
This week is chock full of tips to juggle work, life and your growing family. Have some secrets of your own to managing it all? We would love to hear more from you! Head to our latest Insta post and drop some knowledge bombs on the Sōlspace community.
Answer…BIG FAT FALSE! Anyone who tells you it isn’t, then #byefelicia. Seriously. We’re passionate about this one and are chatting about it on the podcast today.
Here’s the thing, it won't be "work" like doing a day job you hate feels like but BELIEVE US it is work! It will be hard. It will be tiring, invigorating and so many things all in one. It will be worth it.
If you don’t agree with us that’s ok, but we’re pretty sold on this one as we’re pulling late nights, early mornings, weekend work to balance chasing our dreams to fulfill our personal passions with Sōlspace all while working our day jobs and being present mothers. It’s a sacrifice and fulfilling at the same time.
Share what you think by leaving us a review or connecting on Insta @solspace.co.
Ladies, it’s about time people start talking about the postpartum care that is so needed for our poor little vajay-jay’s. So we decided we need to practice what we preach and brought a pelvic floor expert on today's episode, Marcy Crouch, PT, DPT, WCS aka The Down There Doc.
Marcy is someone Heather met through the Happy Mom Conference (remember way back when we gave two tickets to this conf away!) and loved her personality and passion for female health. She’s seriously amazing and sheds some light during this week’s podcast on our pelvic floor - how important it is, how it can be weakened (even if you’ve never been pregnant) and even chats about some delivery stuff too!
It’s a really interesting and hilarious podcast. One we’re proud of because it’s crazy that we shoot babies out of our bodies or have issues down there and there aren’t many known resources (especially that are covered by insurance) to help us stay at our optimal health!
No more have a baby and see you in 6 weeks. Tune in and get to know why that’s no longer acceptable, or ok for your body!
It was time to bring in a professional to hash out how we’re going to survive our future. Today, we’re getting the download about going from 1-2 kids from one of our favorite therapists, Sahar Martinez LMFT. She shares her experience on going from 1-2 and how she coaches her clients through this transition.
If you follow us on Instagram you’ve seen we’re asking A LOT of questions as we get closer to expanding our little crew. You also may recognize Sahar from our last Feed Your Sōl event! She rocked the communication workshop session and we’re so happy to have her back for you guys!
Tune in and pray for us… we’re entering the crazy zone!
This week we’re chatting with Cait Fraser, Co-founder + Chief Wellness Advisor of Wanderwell. Cait is the queen of wanderlusting with purpose. She has the self care game down pat, and launched Wanderwell to bring wellness experiences to those searching for their self care escape.
During our podcast she shares about her travels, the importance of self-care and how this brand came to fruition. She is also hosting a retreat soon and if we weren’t both SOOOO pregnant we would be there in a flash. But that doesn’t mean you can’t go! Get some mama and let us live through you.
AAHHH we love hearing about the journeys that lead women to where they are today! We’d love to hear yours too. Connect with us on Insta @solspace.co or shoot us an email at email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d love to chat with you!
More about Cait

Where did you go? This is a question Mom’s tend to ask themselves after being thrusted into motherhood. Where did I go? Who am I now? What has happened to my life? It sounds dramatic until you’re in the vortex of becoming a parent and quickly realized your life has changed forever.
It took both of us a while to process our new normal with baby #1 and now we don’t know any other way of life - but it took work to find our rhythm. Maybe rhythm is the new “balance” because once we found that we felt a little like ourselves again. Today on the podcast we’re chatting about preserving your identity through the transition of motherhood.
Becoming a parent doesn’t mean you have to completely change and abandon your past. It doesn’t mean you can’t still be that fun, happy, sexy girl who loves to dance while spilling her cocktail AND an incredible mother who is passionate about her significant other and family life.
It’s about finding those pieces you want to take from your pre-parenthood life and figuring out how to weave those into your new chapter. Maybe it’s dance parties with your kiddo(s), maybe it’s making sure you have one solo night with the girls a month to do you. Maybe it’s scheduling in date night and creating at home dates to have 1:1 time with your significant other.
Whatever it is we feel you and know finding your rhythm is important. If you haven’t already make a goal to sit down this week and decide what you need, then communicate it ti to those who support you so they can help and keep you accountable.
No more Mama comes last for you!
We know you can do it! If you’re ready to dust off that resume and get started on chasing your next career goal this is the episode for you.
On this episode, we have the pleasure of speaking with Creative Circle Senior Recruiter, Bridget White, who shares her expertise on getting back into the workforce after a significant break - like having and raising a baby. Maybe it’s been a 12 month break, maybe it’s been 12 years, either way she’s got the tips to help you show up and make the best first impression you can!
We loved speaking with Bridget, not only is she hilarious and down to earth like us, she too is a working mom with a baby under 1 trying to navigate this whole be a boss babe and a mom boss situation.
After listening to her podcast we’re like ok we’re dusting off our resume too, then we realized we employ ourselves so we’re good but we were so inspired by her thoughts we were super motivated!!
Can’t wait to hear your thoughts. Are you trying to start a new career or get into the workforce again? Tell us about it over on @solspace.co and if you have any questions head to creativecircle.com to learn more on how to to sign up as part of their talent pool.

Starting a new partnership can be a sticky thing! Many people will say don’t go into business with family or friends and then there are some who flourish together no matter their friendship before starting a new endeavor. There are so many different stories we can all recall but at the end of the day it is about what works best for you. We frequently get asked how we make it work being friends and colleagues -- we aren't perfect but we must say we are pretty damn good at it. On today’s episode we are getting deep talking about the ins and outs of our partnership and how we manage to grow our working relationship in a fun and healthy way. But we don’t know it all, we would love to hear your experiences and what you have learned to make partnerships successful, whether it’s at work or in your personal life (hint these are very similar things)! Any who...stop reading and push play!

We’re not ready, but THIS IS happening … Ok, this week’s podcast went a little sideways (in a good way) as we hopped on to discuss our birth + maternity leave plans. One thing we learned as we reviewed the documents - yes 2-3 page documents - we created for baby #1 is that things really do change the second time around.
We’re sharing what we thought we needed, what we really needed and what we plan to do this time around when it comes to birth and maternity leave. It’s tough being a working mama that is on your own, but we have tricks up our sleeve like accepting a helping hand from Biz Babysitters to give us the time we need.
Take a listen to our thoughts and head over to our blog post about our plans or insta page to share yours! We know you have some good insight too and we’d love to hear them.
To say we’re obsessed is an understatement - we’re so excited to share that Jessie Alexander, founder of 31 Bits, joined us for our podcast this week to discuss “being the girl who goes for it.”
Back when mindful e-commerce wasn’t even a glimmer in the online shopper’s eye, Jessie and her co-founders turned a college project into a 10-year dream job that ‘til this day amazes us with their creativity, thoughtfulness and business savvy mindset.
She’s sharing her journey from college grad to a successful entrepreneur. Tune in to hear what she learned, what she’d change and how living with your business partners CAN work if you’re up for the challenge.
Are You Good at Being Alone? I mean… we wish we were. We kinda suck at it. You always want what you can’t have, right?
As an entrepreneur you rarely get to shut it off when you’re doing your own 9-5 (read all day EVERY day). We’ve gotten used to that and taken the necessary steps to create space in our lives. BUT the most shocking thing of becoming a parent was the fact that YOU’RE NEVER ALONE! It added a whole other layer of lack of space, creating an even bigger need for those special moments that were just for us.
THEN, even when you’re alone all you’re doing is thinking about what you need to do for work/home or how much you miss the loved ones you’re away from. We’re all about the kids being watched by people we trust and saying PEACE, but we still find ourselves not fully able to disconnect.
So today’s podcast is about the “Art of Alone-time” and how we can strengthen that muscle. If you have this down share your knowledge bombs. We’re all ears! Hit us up on Insta.
But seriously, it’s summer and we feel a bit off. Maybe it’s the pregnancy? While everyone is ramping up to live their best life and in full “GO” mode, we’re winding down as we prepare to expand our families (and bodies) to make room for this new life.
Each season has its own energy, and this time we’re out of sync with Summer’s “get after it” vibe. So how are we dealing with that as we prepare to head out for maternity leave? Tune in to find out!
It’s Podcast Wednesday!! This episode we are talking about all about staying in the moment. This topic is relevant for sooo many reasons but ultimately we are feeling the pressure of baby #2 coming into the family fast and furious.
First, Heather sings on this episode + Brooke too (but she does that every episode) so hopefully your ears get through it.
Second, we somehow tie a PBS Daniel the Tiger episode to the entire inspo for this episode about staying in the now as we inch towards expanding our family and life goals.
And finally, we have a SUPER SUPER SUPER amazing giveaway this week for you. We’ve been extra in the giveaway department with brands we love but hopefully you don’t mind because we love spoiling you!
It is time for the dirty, dirty truth! We have to be honest, after recording this episode we were running to our bathrooms to scour all our skincare products for ingredients that may be lurking, harming our health (and even worse our little ones)! Even Heather, our resident clean beauty expert, learned a few things during this episode... but Brooke admits she has a lot to learn.
Today, we welcome wonderful Stephanie Pascarella, mama + founder of Wash with Water, a skincare pioneer dedicated to crafting small-batch skin and hair products that are safe for the whole family. Tune-in as Stephanie gives us all the dirt (pun intended) on what ingredients to look out for, her passion to go above and beyond to change industry standards and if this is totally new to you she has tips on where to start!
Spring has sprung and Summer is about to drop it like it’s hot! With our pregnancies well on their way, nesting mode is in full effect.
As we continue the spring cleaning feeling organizing our house top to bottom, it made us realize this level of attention to detail has flowed into our relationships - and it’s been a great thing!
We are pretty organized with our biz life, and after kiddos we took those methods to our relationship as well. It’s Type A for sure (hello Heather’s Virgo tendencies paired with Brooke’s fear of ever forgetting a task) but also a necessary element to keep us on track with our personal lives as well.
Tune in as we share the lessons we’ve learned becoming parents and how organization and communication has helped us stay on track!
Need more deets? Check out this weeks blog where we chat about how time blocking helps us keep our heads on straight. Without it we may forget where our head is completely. #preggobrain
It’s been a little over two weeks since… well we can’t really say since (*COUGH* Heather + some others may not be caught up yet)...happened on GOT. It’s also been two years since we had babies and have two on the way. We’re not sure we’re really recovered from either yet…
Whether you’re battling the why from the finale of your latest show, a sick Taco Tuesday hangover or adjusting to mom life, recovery from even positive things like a vacation has you wanting a vacation. Today on the podcast we’re talking about recovery mode, balance and how implementing rituals can help keep your flow so you don’t end up in overload.
We loved the founder of Wanderwell, Cait's guest blog about burnout. There are some great tips in there and a sexy retreat calling your name if you need a little fiesta by the mar to celebrate Global Wellness Day. Margaritas included.
Any who.. enough chit chat, time to tune in to the episode!
We know how much everyone loved Episode #13 when Emily, the founder of Genetic Garden, joined us for the first time so we brought her back! During that episode we barely scratched the surface of a SUPER interesting topic to us - hormones.
Today’s episode dives in deep to hormones, PMS and how to manage these surges of emotions … we even chat about male PMS (we are certain it’s a thing). Bottom line nutrition has a lot to do with your hormonal waves so this podcast is a must listen!
Tune in and don’t forget to check out Emily’s blog on hormones that goes with our podcast content today. We also had a guest blogger, Carie from Luxe Skin Studio, on the blog this week breaking down hormonal acne.
AANNNNDDD… we won’t spoil the surprise but our friend Jess from @Shutthefigup (who was a guest on our podcast last week) has put together a little giveaway that launches tomorrow so make sure you’re following us on social so you can get the deets on what it is and how to enter.
It’s National Anxiety + Depression Awareness Week and we’re diving into this topic on today’s podcast. We have both dealt with a small level of anxiety during postpartum + job transitions, and today our guest Jess, founder of Shut the Fig Up, is sharing about her journey with anxiety and panic disorder that lead her to her passion around managing her mental and physical health through health and nutrition.
Listen to this week’s episode and know you’re never alone in your challenges! Anxiety, depression, postpartum - there is someone dealing with it too. That’s why we started Sōlspace , to be that community for you!
DM us. DM our guests. Share our content with your friends if you feel it could be helpful in starting a conversation.
It takes a village to navigate this life and we want to be yours.
Happy Mother’s Day (week) to all the mamas + ones you know out there! We think it deserves more than a day so today and all week we’re celebrating you, your mama’s, our mama’s, our fur baby mama’s out there. We see you workin’!
It’s such a blessing to be a mama, but we wouldn’t be here without our own. We shared an interview with them on our blog earlier this week which was really fun! Sitting down and hearing their memories and thoughts on being a mom was great to hear. We recommend doing it with your mama, over wine… because we can’t have wine but you should. #beateamplayer
We’re a little goofy on this episode, a little raw about our best and worst moments as mothers and a whole lot of fun. We hope you love it as much as we did!
It’s like the holidays over here as we write this! We are announcing so many things!!! AAHHHHH.
Ok, so where do we start...
This week we dive into when is the right time to go for it because every day is "one day" or "day one" until you decide to take that step forward. Clearly this inspired us because it’s Day One for us. Brooke announces her personal “day one” for her new venture during this episode, that’s all we can spill for now! Tune in to find out the deets...

So ya, Wednesday is quickly become our favorite day of the week. How about you?
This week’s episode is one of those “tough but needs to be talked” about episodes. We’re so blessed to have our dear friend Ashleigh Azzari share her story about her journey with infertility in honor of Infertility Awareness Week.
We know women out there struggling to conceive or recently experienced infertility challenges and it is something that is close to our hearts as we support them through these moments. Motherhood starts in all different ways, and on today’s podcast we will hear about Ashleigh’s personal journey.
Let’s get real. Let’s get in it with each other. Let’s get ready to support one another. Even in the lowest points of her journey she still finds the silver lining and we’re pretty sure regardless you’ll be laughing during this episode like you always do.
It’s one of the many reasons we love her - she’s raw, real and real good at keeping a positive mindset amidst any challenge. #youreourgirlAsh

"Ain’t life grand” - pretty sure that’s the saying (Heather always messes the cliche sayings up so can never be too sure) and honestly it is.
We’re managing work and motherhood pretty well over here not taking for granted how blessed we are to own our own 24… BUT (you knew that was coming) it’s still a slight shit show when we break down the aftermath of how we got here.
Motherhood is some serious business. We’re talking about managing a small and unreasonable dictators known as toddlers, businesses, the postpartum mess that is our new existence, new emotions, husbands. So why not have an episode about getting real on it and laughing about how ridiculous some of our stressors are.
We just read this article on Ellie Moms yesterday about toddlers and it pretty much sums it up. Now, here’s this week’s episode to sum up how “Babies Change More Than Your Bodies.”
We dedicate this episode to our amazing children who have changed our hearts, minds and bodies in ways we never imagined… and hopefully will be billionaires to pay us back one day. #kidding #kindof
Earlier this week we talked about cravings and just writing this made us have them all over again. What is it about Oreo’s that are so comforting?
We actually talked a lot about Oreos along with DNA nutrition, health, epigenetics and scratch the surface about hormones in our latest episode featuring the founder of Genetic Garden, Emily Brown.
Emily provides clients with exercise and nutrition recommendations based on genetic data and lifestyle factors while educating her client on their predispositions and any environmental factors that may influence them. Together, epigenetic information will be interpreted to create an effective plan with health and fitness practices that traditional genetics alone cannot reveal.
Tune-in to hear our test results, how Emily is like a wellness matchmaker and why trying her DNA nutrition program is right up our (and we think your) alley.

Heather’s baking another delicious baby so we have pregnancy on the brain. It’s round two so she’s heading into this one a little more experienced. We felt inspired to share all we’ve learned along the way and take a moment to share how her pregnancy is going so far.
Today’s podcast shares things we wish someone would have told us, will she find out the gender, first trimester update and how far she’s willing to drive to satisfy a craving - it’s all in there! And… fair warning lots of womanly talk about body parts, bodily fluids and all the other fun things pregnancy brings.
It will either be a good laugh for other moms out there or a nice dose of birth control for those yet to be mama’s. You’re welcome! ;) Anyone want to babysit?
Tune in and if you missed last week’s episode it's not too late to catch up!
We’ve had a funny relationship with failure. From being terrified to feeling empowered by this little “F” word, it’s followed us around over the years as we move through motherhood and entrepreneurship.
As we sat down to record today’s episode we really tuned in to our feelings around the "F" word. Why does it control people so much? Does it have power only if you let it? We chat about our experiences, how we’ve battled with failure and why we don’t feel it’s that big of a deal anymore during this week’s podcast.
It’s a tricky little fella but we finally think we’ve got it figured out.
Anyone watch “Workin’ Moms” on Netflix? It’s basically an autobiography of life post baby for most working mothers with a humorous spin that is oh so relatable. It might have subconsciously been the inspiration for this week’s podcast topic “Working as a Team, Balancing as a Family.”
Being a go getter in the workspace, doting wife, stellar bestie and rockstar mom has its challenges. Figuring out the recipe for success in all areas feels a bit like finishing a rubix cube… every time you think you’ve got it one piece is out of order.
We’ve learned a few things as we get comfortable with motherhood that we thought would be fun to share with you. Can’t wait for you to tune in!
They sure do grow up fast. One day (about 7 years ago) Sharzad and Heather were meeting in an elevator bonding over Target dresses. Now we’re all mommies to the cutest babies and living out our boss babe dreams.
Sharzad, founder of LuxLyfe, YouTube sensation and expert in World Domination, joined us during this week’s podcast to talk about how she hustled her way to the top. This girl is full of grit and determination … and she is sharing all her tips to becoming insta-famous with you.
We can’t wait for you to tune in and head over to her profile @sharzadkiadeh if you want to get to know her better.
Are you ready for this week's episode? We were really feeling the topic of body love for this week’s podcast because as women we know how hard we can be on ourselves as our bodies change. That “summer body” isn’t so easy to bounce back into after winter as we get older.
We also had an amazing guest blog about the topic written by Monday Dieter that is a MUST READ if you haven’t already!
It feels really good to say we’ve spent 8 weeks with ya’ll and have so many more to come. I know, we’re getting mushy again but we have all the feels thanks to you tuning in to our episodes.
We love you and your gorgeous bodies.
We’re going to get right into it… Talia Goldstein, founder of Three Day Rule, is back on our show because she is a TOTAL BOSS BABE. This mama fundraised not once but twice while pregnant and both times secured massive funding… and judgements. #notcool
Her story amazed us and we wanted to share it with you. Maybe some of you are looking for funding. Maybe some of you are pregnant and wondering are people going to take you seriously as you chase your goals. Maybe you just like listening to us.
Either way hit play because our jaws were at the floor most of the time listening to her story and hearing her thoughts on investors.
Oh and MAD PROPS to mama’s following their dreams out there because this $h!T ain’t easy but it is so magical.
This episode kicks off with Talia Goldstein, founder of Three Day Rule, chatting with us about dating trends, online dating and how to secure that second date if you’re looking for round two. Then we bounce to Taylor Glaze, who we coined our token Millennial (but she is actually a Gen Z which will make sense when you listen) who dives into why she’s down to date herself right now, and turns the mic on us for a few questions.
We get all the feels this episode and hope you do too! If not just tell Brooke you did because it’s her birthday month.
Ever feel like life isn’t shaping up the way you dreamed it would? Do you have those thoughts of “I am so far off from where I thought I would be at this time in my life!”
Girl, you’re right where you should be. Say it with us again… Girl, you’re right where you should be! How do we know? We’ll we’ve been around the block a few times and put a big focus on self worth lately to figure out this stuckness we’ve noticed women can feel (and have experienced ourselves).
In this episode we dig into our own personal shit around setting realistic expectations, and reflecting on how far we’ve come. We've realized we’re doing pretty damn good!
This week’s episode is one for the books because not only did we have our first guest on, but we’re talking about a pretty important topic - connecting to your heart. Did you know that your heart has enough energy to light up a small city? We didn’t either until this episode and is one of the many incredible things we learned while chatting to Jessie May, the founder of Heartrise Movement.
Maybe it’s just us but we’ve noticed while we’re so tuned into our hearts there are also walls around it from various experiences and we need to break those down or they will hold us back. Jessie May has worked with individuals and corporations to share her heartfelt methods that reconnects you to the power source that is your best guide, your heart.
We’ve been blessed to work from home but is it really all it’s cracked up to be? Maybe… Tune in to find out what we really think about it. We’re sharing our thoughts on the good, bad and the ugly (like hanging in sweats all day then rushing to get pretty before the hubs comes home) that is the truth of working for yourself.
A podcast? Another baby? It’s all happening! This week Brooke and Heather chat about what it is like going for their goals amidst planning for baby numero dos. Fun fact Heather likes to speak Spanish when she drinks which is what she will be doing this podcast because it might be her last chance. Tick Tock … Baby Watch! Dooo dooo dooo dooo dooo

In this episode Brooke and Heather dish about how their 10 year friendship has evolved over the years from single babes to married boss babes (with toddler boys). Get to know the ladies a bit more and learn why they decided to embark on this wild adventure (everyone’s doing it, right?).
Meet Brooke + Heather, two momprenuers and co-founders of Sōlspace, who watched each other go from single AF to married with child(ren). And now they have decided to share it all… if only for their own therapy.
