Cancel Culture and the Church
From the recent exposure of prominent church leaders who have been investigated for various crimes to the marginalized groups within the church Hanniel and Crawford discuss the church's response to these types of disturbing actions.
Is Covid Hysteria Getting out of Hand?
So much has been discussed, and some very publically, about vaccines, restrictions, lockdowns, and many other limitations due to Covid. Has it gone too far?
Hanniel and Crawford discuss how the church should respond to the growing tension within the church around vaccines and restrictions.
Can there be Joy in the Pandemic?
Fightings, attacks, and abuse have become common in the church over the way we should handle the pandemic and especially government restrictions. It seems that many believers have lost their joy in the Lord. Is it even possible given the circumstances?
Crawford briefly touches on this topic and shares some insight from the book of Philippians.
Typology Matters
Shane and Tim are back with another look at the importance of typology in the Bible.
Christians and Conspiracy Theories
Does the Illuminati exist? Is the Presidential election rigged? Is COVID-19 a planned attack to take away religious freedom? Conspiracy theories are everywhere on the internet. How should Christians respond to these theories?
Crawford and Hanniel discuss this prevailing issue in the North American church in Episode #23 of ChurchChat by assemblyHUB.
Should the Church Reject Government Restrictions?
In the recent wake of Grace Community Church's statement (and other churches), what should our response be to rejecting restrictions placed on the church by authorities? Should we fight against them or go along with what they are asking? When is it appropriate to resist authorities?
Crawford and Hanniel Ghezzi discuss this relevant topic which is making waves in the North American Church.
The Lord's Supper Part 4
Shane and Tim share additional thoughts about the Lord's supper as we continue to consider what it means to us believers.
Isn't Typology Boring?
Shane and Tim are at it again and this time they are talking about typology. Typology to many people sounds boring and unrelated to real life. Nothing can be farther from the truth. The Bible is full of amazing types that point directly to the Lord Jesus and to life today.
The Lord's Supper Part 3
Shane Johnson brings in his friend Tim to discuss why they enjoy the Lord's Supper and some tips on making it more appreciated by those in attendance. Tim shares his background in coming into the assemblies later in life and how he has enjoyed the format of the Brethren.
Racism in America Part 2
This is part 2 of a hot topic in our society. Racism has been an issue for a very long time. Crawford talks with Dominique and Peter about this very current issue.
Racism in America Part 1
Racism is at the forefront of people's minds in North America. It is tearing many people apart and is causing much conflict. Crawford talks to Reeba James about this issue and how Christians should view the issue. This is a difficult discussion as they talk through some of the larger issues.

Facing the Elephant: Intentional Responses
Crawford and guest Ron Hughes discuss the different ways people respond when approached with a question (or bid). Looking at the life of the Lord Jesus, Ron identifies 3 ways we generally respond and explains why being aware of the bid and how we respond is important. Relationships are often ruined because men and women fail to respond in ways that promote healthy relationships. This applies to families, churches, communities, and places of employment.
About Ron:
Ron’s served in Ecuador for 10 years where he taught several courses in the Bible institute run by one of the local churches in Quito. He and his wife Debbie were involved in church planting and discipleship activities. In 1993, they returned to Canada in response to an invitation of the FBH board so Ron could work alongside Arnot McIntee, then president of the ministry. In 1995, Arnot retired from active work with the board and Ron assumed responsibility. He served as president until 2019 when he retired to pursue other interest such as writing.

Music in the Church
Crawford chats with guest Craig Fritchey about the highly controversial and divisive subject of music in the church. They deal with questions such as...
- Should we sing only hymns or contemporary songs as well?
- Should instruments be used in the corporate worship of the church?
- How can we unify the church in music instead of continuing the division that exists in many churches?
Craig's bio: Craig was raised in a Christian home in South Florida and saved at age five. He joined Christian Missions in Many Lands (CMML) as their full-time conference coordinator in January 2013. Craig and his wife Daniela fellowship at Fifth Avenue Chapel in Belmar, New Jersey and seek to build up and unify the Body of Christ through preaching, Bible studies, music ministry, youth work, conferences, missions awareness and connecting believers who can work well together for the Glory of God.
CMML's conference vision: The goal of the conference ministry is to revitalize missionary interest and involvement in North America, renew and strengthen relationships between New Testament assemblies and CMML, and present the missionary call to the next generation.
Trusting God During Extreme Crisis
Crawford and Shane look at a story in 2 Kings 6 and 7 that put the nation of Israel under extreme circumstances. Yet God had not forsaken them. God miraculously delivered His people. Many lessons can be learned from this story that applies to the difficult situation many find themselves in during this C-19 virus crisis.
