BallHawks 22: Atlanta Hawks Top 5 Players in 18-19 / Atlanta Hawks Year-End Awards
Chris Guest and Michael Cave are back and ready to deliver some spicy Atlanta Hawks takes delivered in sultry tones.
In this ep, it's time for the duo's year-end awards as well as a list of the best players on the Atlanta Hawks, which somehow does not include Justin Anderson.
The boys delve into a few recent games as well as a look-ahead to what will be an incredibly important offseason for the franchise. Is Zion incoming? They certainly hope so, but Jarrett Culver wouldn't be a bad consolation prize.
Thanks for listening!
(DISCLAIMER: The audio in this episode gets a little wonky around the 22-minute mark. Perhaps Chris's roughly 8-year-old microphone is the issue, but for now the guys will be monitoring the situation)
BallHawks 21: WE BACK BABY! / March Madness / Rookie of the Year Re-Hash
After a nearly month-long hiatus, Chris Guest and Michael Cave are back in action to explore the most pressing Atlanta Hawks questions as well discuss what they've both been up to since the last pod.
First topic of discussion is the "unnecessary and unwanted" win against the Milwaukee Bucks, as well as the fact that the devious scheming of former Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer has ruined not one but two Atlanta Hawks tank jobs to end the season.
However, if Trae Young drilling yet another game-winning floater means that the Rookie of the Year race with Luka Doncic is not over, then that's fine with the our boys.
After that, we bop around and discuss a few of the most notable games from what has been a scintillating second weekend in the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
Thanks to The Black Tux and Anchor for sponsoring us (despite the hiatus). We'll be back to a more reasonable schedule going forward! Thanks for listening.
BallHawks 20: Mammoth Atlanta Hawks Catch-up / Trae Young = ROY? / Mavs Pick Draft Odds
Chris Guest and Michael Cave are back to dissect the 4 Atlanta Hawks games since the dynamic duo last recorded.
First up is an in-depth look at the amazing quadruple-overtime game the Atlanta Hawks played against the Chicago Bulls (which Mike missed due to vacation). An astonishing game, that leads to more talk of Trae Young's shameful ejection by foolhardy referees in the rematch on Sunday as well as back-to-back losses to the Heat and Spurs.
Mike goes on the record saying Trae Young should win Rookie of the Year over Luka Doncic, and that discussion dovetails beautifully into a look at the recent tank moves being made by the Dallas Mavericks in order to ensure they keep their pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. Please, basketball gods, don't let that happen.

BallHawks 19: Trae Young, Atlanta Hawks Best Rookie Ever? / "Huge Block of Body"
A skittish Michael Cave joins Chris Guest to talk about his pending plane ride (first in multiple decades) as well as a terrible excuse for a Bostonian accent. Of course, the Atlanta Hawks get mentioned heavily.
Chris and Mike delve into the two most recent games (loss vs. Rockets, overtime win vs. Wolves), as well as a flurry of stats about the Atlanta Hawks' amazing young core led by Trae Young and John Collins.
A few digressions about the play of the Knicks' Mitchell Robinson (the eponymous huge block of body), who the Hawks could've drafted in the second round, and Zion Williamson ensue.
Now that he realizes DeAndre' Bembry is a good-looking guy, it's a whole new world.

BallHawks 18: THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN / Atlanta Hawks News & Updates
Chris Guest and Michael Cave are back in the saddle again with an array of Atlanta Hawks news and updates.
The boys, who are vociferously back in town, discuss the All-Star weekend shenanigans through the lens of the Atlanta Hawks as well as the less-than-spectacular dunk contest of John Collins.
Beyond that, Chris and Mike dissect the various moves done before and during the break, including Jeremy Lin, Jaylen Adams and Jordan Sibert transactions.
Lastly, a quick primer on recent games (Pistons, Suns) and a shout-out to various pupster doggies: Nala, Lady and Archer.
Thanks for listening, and give us a follow on Twitter @BallHawksPod.
BallHawks 17: Atlanta Hawks Trade Deadline Reaction / Eastern Conference Elitism
Chris Guest and Michael Cave dissect the Atlanta Hawks trade deadline, and the amazing trades (or lack thereof) that the team made.
The boys go in-depth on the moves that the Hawks made, or at least as much as they possibly could, then they explored the greater trade deadline at large -- including the Eastern Conference "arms race."
After that, it's a recap of the three most recent games that the Atlanta Hawks played against the Wiz, Raps and Hornets.
