Lalo Steinmann has been in Microsoft for more than 16 years. His current role is Director of ISV for Latin America. Before that, he worked as a Latin America Azure lead as well as Public sector Technology and Cloud Lead for Americas. In this position, he collaborated with large organizations in relevant and leading edge project related to cloud adoption in Public sector.

He act a as a Microsoft speaker in World Wide events about new technology trends. In the past, he worked as Architect in Microsoft Latin America. He was a J2EE architect for the reengineering of applications in Argentina’s Stock Exchange.

Previously, he had a large carrier as a director and architect for his own software company working with large software projects. In this position he manage the implementation of tickets application for Boca and River, the two well know soccer teams in Argentina.

What is Constitution Day?

On September 17th, 1787, the Founding Fathers signed the most influential document in American history, the US Constitution.

The Constitution defines the structure of our federal government. 

The Constitution has three main functions.

1. First it creates a national government consisting of a legislative,

an executive, and a judicial branch, with a system of checks and

balances among the three branches.

2. Second, it divides power between the federal government and the states, and

3. Third, it protects various individual liberties of American citizens.

The Six Big Ideas found in the Constitution are:

1. limited government.

2. Republicanism. (Representative Government- A much better guard against the tyranny of the majority)

3. checks and balances. (Mutual Oversight)

4. federalism.

5. separation of powers.

6. popular sovereignty.

There are currently 27 Amendments

What is the Bill of Rights:

The Bill of Rights refers to the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution. These amendments were added shortly after the Constitution was ratified in 1791 to address concerns about individual rights and limitations on government power. The Bill of Rights plays a crucial role in protecting the civil liberties and freedoms of American citizens. 

The Bill of Rights was a critical addition to the Constitution, as it reassured many Americans who were initially skeptical of a strong central government. These amendments are fundamental in safeguarding individual freedoms, ensuring due process, and establishing limits on government authority. They continue to be the cornerstone of civil liberties and legal protections in the United States.

Nacida en Argentina, Julieta descubrió dicha pasión inspirada en Atletas como Michelle Lewin y Anita Herbert, así investigó lo necesario para alcanzar ese nivel y aplicó la disciplina para cultivar el físico. Ha trabajado constante e inteligentemente por 5 años en su condicionamiento físico y nutrición para así profesionalizarse en el rubro del Body building y con excelentes resultados ha logrado destacar en competencias como el Olympia y NPC Ultimate Grand Prix, siendo galardonada como Female Body Builder Champion.

His latest book, "Just Heal, Bro" has become a national tour in which Jay is the co-creator of the "Just Heal, Bro Tour'' along with his Living Hope Production. Through his ability to inspire and empower, Jay is helping men and women from all walks of life heal mentally and emotionally by providing a safe and therapeutic space.

We honor those who have served the U.S Armed forces and their contribution for freedom.  

At AU we are very proud to be home of a big Veteran Family, from the Directive Board to Faculty and many of our Alumni and active Students. To you all we say today, Thank you for your service, we honor your work and sacrifice for freedom, and today we extend our honors dedication to the labor you have done and to your families who along with you have sacrificed and supported your contribution to our country.  

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, World War I came to an end after four brutal years of fighting. One year later, America dedicated November 11th as Armistice Day to celebrate the peace and the veterans who fought to make the world a safer place. 

So we pay our respects and offer our thanks to those who served in the United States military, defending freedom and dignified life for all.  

In 1938 Congress established Armistice Day as a legal holiday to honor those who fought in the war to en all wars, however in the wake of world war II ad the Korean War, Armistice Day became Veterans Day in 1954 a holiday now that would honor veterans of all wars from the past, present and future.

S. Code, Sec. 87a) approved May 13, 1938, made the 11th of November in each year a legal holiday—a day to be dedicated to the cause of world peace and to be thereafter celebrated and known as "Armistice Day." Armistice Day was primarily a day set aside to honor veterans of World War I, but in 1954, after World War II had required the greatest mobilization of soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen in the Nation’s history; after American forces had fought aggression in Korea, the 83rd Congress, at the urging of the veteran’s service organizations, amended the Act of 1938 by striking out the word "Armistice" and inserting in its place the word "Veterans." With the approval of this legislation (Public Law 380) on June 1, 1954, November 11th became a day to honor American veterans of all wars.
