Lessons in Butterflies
By Aubriana Baxa
For as long as I can remember, whenever someone asked me what my favorite animal was. I've always replied, "A butterfly." They don't shed, they don't bite or sting, and I just think that they're just pretty. But as. I've learned more about them, I've found that there are lessons about our lives to be learned from the lives of butterflies. So I created this podcast to share those lessons with you.

Lesson #2 - The Peacock
This episode focuses on the defense mechanisms of peacock butterflies. They take a defensive approach to fending off predators, keeping their offensive approach in reserve should that tactic fail. We must learn to listen to people when they give us an answer, not provoking them to take further, more aggressive action.

Lesson #1 - The Monarch
This episode focuses on the lifespan of monarch butterflies. Summer and winter generations of monarchs live very different length lives, but they face very different challenges. It is important to go through life at your own speed, focusing not on the time it is taking but rather on what you have accomplished in that time.
