We get to share our experiences and also get to speak to some other people who seem to be handling their transition well. You are not alone we get to walk you on this journey.

He was already working on his wife's baking business hence an easier transition.

We are back!! We have not been wash away hehe (IFYKYK) I have missed you too. We took some time away to re-strategise the podcast so it was all in good faith. Technology enthusiast now serial Entrepreneur running 3 successful Startups

Goerge Wayne is a Technology Enthusiast and a seasoned entrepreneur now running 3 of his startup businesses. He is known for his Innovation Hub & CoWorking Space Nakuru Box. Even back in his campus days in Moi University, George was selling shamballas (jewellery) & Running Website Development & Tech Classes. After qualifying and attending the Tony Elumelu Foundation Summit, it dawned on him that they are entrepreneurs just like him who are continuously looking for innovation spaces and a co-working environment which gave birth to Nakuru Box. To add even more value he holds events and innovation training hubs for such entrepreneurs.

George wears many hats as he also runs his Jewellery Business - Jean Jewellery Store and Eneza Solutions Limited to complement his income. As a young man, he is both passionate, tactical and not planning to stop creating and innovating. I had to have him on the podcast as he shared his journey and what keeps him going. This episode was an eye-opener and also a challenge for all of us to continuously lookout for opportunities we can plug ourselves into whether through entrepreneurship, innovating or even in employment.

From dismantling my dad's radio to now a Google Cloud Engineer

Is cloud the next big thing? As it stands, technology has revolutionised the job landscape and obviously for IT & Tech Careers. With the majority of companies now moving their operations from on-premise servers to the cloud; cloud computing careers are in high demand. With cloud computing is still a new concept in Africa and even in Kenya; there is a skill gap. There are only a few trained IT professionals that can deploy cloud solutions or even cloud architects.

Sam Muhuho, Google Cloud Deployment Manager at BusinessCom Solutions heads the IT department. As a young lad in the village, he was always curious about telecommunication and would dismantle his dad's radio and try to assemble it back. No one would have predicted that he would now be heading all IT operations for a Google Cloud Partner. He has even sold clothes for a living as he tried to nature his entrepreneurial spirit before later interning and climbed up the ladder to the position he holds. Well, this was not just not handed to him as he has had to pass his Associate Cloud Engineer certifications and now working towards his Cloud Architect Certifications. For someone interested in the IT field, this is an episode for you.

Interested in a career in media? How does someone get to be on National Television? In this week episode, we featured David Kagina, a reporter at Switch TV. He is among a few reporters who can report both in Kiswahili & in English. David Kagina started his journey back in Moi University when he joined MUFM - Moi University Local Radio Station which spired his love for reporting news.For someone who is passionate journalism field, there can be easily discouraged seeing that Journalism is an elitist, competitive field.

His story is inspirational, to say the least having started as an intern to a regular, gracing our screen every day. The sky is the limit for this one. I had such a good laugh on this episode ...Enjoy

After my degree, What's next? A conversation with a PHD graduate

After that degree or diploma, what's Next for you? In this week episode, we featured James Ndone. It is actually Dr James Ndone now as he recently attained his PhD at the Missouri School of Journalism where he specialised in crisis communication.

James story is relatable as he is born and bred in Kenya. He actually pursued his bachelor degree from Moi University, thereafter pursuing a got a scholarship for His Master's Degree at Illinois State University. As a millennial, one is often conflicted on whether one should pursue further studies. After investing in a bachelor's degree and realising that it takes more than just that degree to remain competitive and stand out in the corporate world, investing in further studies may feel like a gamble. James has had a taste of both worlds having worked as a Public Relations officer and taking a bold move to focus on his academics where he takes on both hats as a student and a lecturer. This was one of those conversations that challenge you especially after realising that he is so young and can easily be classified as a millennial. Enjoy the episode.

Is a Masters Program Still Relevant in Today's World?

What are your thoughts on taking a Masters Program?

I had a conversation with Daniel Mbugua who is now a Public Relations Specialist. Fun fact: At one point he was my lecturer during my undergraduate studies at Moi University.

Daniel Mbugua did his undergraduate degree in Communication & Journalism and later specialised in Communication & Public Relations for his Master's Program. Having tasted both worlds of academics and the corporate world especially in a dynamic industry of Communications & PR, I was curious to know what his thoughts are. I mean in this day and age should we still go ahead and invest in a Masters Program or can we learn what we need to learn from Youtube? For those of us who completed our undergraduate degree, what should be the next steps as we grow our career and build our resume' as far as education is concerned? Juggling my Software Engineer career while running my IT company

I met Brian in a club (yes a school association) and he was exceptional. He developed an app VibeCampo while still in school. He made us look bad if you ask me. His passion for invention grew into him being now a CEO of his company Brainverse Technologies. He is also a software Engineer at Davis and Shirtliff where he continues to rise through the ranks. His story is one of those that make you rethink your life choices.

**The Audacity Podcast Season 2** It's Friday hence Podcasting day....😀😀 If you are like me and always looking for career advice....(webinar people in the house) I think it is brilliant really. I am always one to attend to a youth session, talk, name it just get more information. It struck me though that now is the time to actualise everything that you have been learning. Advice is one thing but doing the actual job is a complete different story. There are practical things that even as a millennial you know you need to do. Guess what there is no formula. The Last Chapter with the Iconic Eddy Ashioya

When I was writing compositions in high school, I never would have thought one can make out a career from writing. . I grew up and met the likes of Eddy Ashioya who completely transformed my worldview. He has a way with words, so much so he even writes for the famous Biko Zulu. I had to have him on the podcast as we got to talk about everything women, religion, career because they are just amazing topics for written pieces, and had a great laugh while at it. Highschool French Class; now working in France #francedition

Meet Gathera Wairimu, English Language Assistant in France all thanks to French Classes from the Highschool days. The education system here in Africa is wanting to say the least. But there are actually opportunities that we can take advantage of from as simple as taking a foreign language class. More than just Poetry with Willy Oeba

Willy Oeba is an artist in every sense of the word; Self-proclaimed King of Poetry, Musician, and a Spoken Word Artist. For him, his pieces are not just for mere entertainment but geared on speaking on contemporary social issues and calling out social injustices. In his career, Oeba has been recognised on several occasions for his talent at events such as Blaze Summits and Slam Africa and is the reigning East Africa Spoken Word Battle King after being crowned in 2018. Things we do for money, Where do you draw the line?

I caught up with Wyregi after his story on how he packed bottle-tops on a nightshift broke the internet. As a Mechanical Engineering student from UON, packing bottle tops was not something he thought he would have to do. He decided to share his story on Twitter seeing as he had to do 12 hours a shift. He was not prepared on the overwhelming response from #KOT. This is why I do what I do, to highlight the good and the bad when it comes to the transition to the workplace. Where do you draw the line? As millenials, do we take that extra mile to build our career path?

I had the opportunity to interview my Colleague -Barack Litzwa. Anybody who has ever interacted with Barack can attest to his passion in everything he does. Even when he is ordering food. (Yeah he is those people). His passion in how he conducts his work is something else all together. Even as we talk about our transition to the workplace, I deiced to throw the ball on our court and try and figure out whether we are really doing everything that we need to do as young people to grow our career path. What career options are there for creatives?

What are some of the careers out there for creatives. Whether you are a singer, actor, writer or you draw. (bathroom singers I will get back to you later) There are actual careers out there that require you to be creative. On this episode I discovered a new career, something I have ever really thought of. I spoke to Josephine Ng'ang'a who works in a creative agency as a copywriter. Yes her work is to come up with creative adverts. You know those amazing or 'annoying' adverts (Thanks Maria) Yes that is somebody's work and a very lucrative one. Get to Know me Tag

The first episode on the Podcast yeeeh. We made it. Its been close to a month before actually going ahead and starting the podcast. On this episode, I get to be vulnerable and honest about my journey after completing school. When you are a student you have a firm belief that life would somehow workout especially after getting a job. This wasn't the case for me. I discovered there is so much to learn and it is actually a transition. I am still going through the journey.
