After South Africa finished 3-0 on Day 1 of the Canada 7s rugby series I had the chance to chat with JC Pretorius as they headed into the knockout round of the tournament.

At the Canada 7s rugby tournament, the home side posted a 2-1 record in the round robin day but due to a point differential will not play for the title in the knockout round of the tournament on Sunday. Canadian coach Damian McGrath met with the media after Canada's round robin win over Kenya to discuss the first day of the tournament.
