I was in tech, social media management, and digital marketing before it was cool -- before it became an industry. As I watched ambitious "coaches and consultants" peddle their egos and New Age spirituality on the internet, I observed how whole industries and fields of study form. Most interesting was watching how normal people engaging in algorithm hacking to promote their content and build their business opened the door for election interference in 2016 in the U.S. and election interference around the world.

The government, national security community, and even the tech industry don't understand how we got here.

It all started with ambitious New Agers evangelizing the world to become yoga teachers, mindfulness practitioners, fake shamans, and pseudo-marketing, business, and life coaching experts.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions, indeed.

The Democratic debates have come and gone and despite the devastating smack down Harris gave Biden, good 'ol Joe is still the top contender in some states. What does this mean for Democrats moving into the 2020 election? Why is it so important to ensure Trump doesn't get re-elected aside from the obvious disdain for his politics and personality?

Also, Russian President Vladimir Putin made the bold claim that Western Liberalism is on the decline and autocracy is on the rise due to the populist movements in America and Europe. Is he right? Is Putin on to something? What does this mean for the Eurocentric World Order? What will the New World Order truly look like? Is it such a bad thing? Is climate change being blown out of proportion? Are we all being duped one last time as predicted in the New Testament?

In other news, I've come to realize that love doesn't require commitment, possession, or confines. Should the institution of marriage be reformed? I think so.

After watching docuseries after docuseries on the traumatic experiences baby boomers endured at the whims of self-aggrandizing, corrupt presidents, I've developed some thoughts on the key takeaways on what can be learned from the tumultuous wars America has been involved in and how they impact what our nation needs in a president going into 2020.

Spreading freedom among all mankind was successful only for a short time. Now, as Russia and China flex their muscles, once again, as great powers on the international stage, it is imperative for American politicians to examine to failings of the past and take a page out of the book of historical conquerors and dictators. We have to meet the enemy where he or she is.

China is now a recognized great power, but Western arrogance and even white supremacy retard the American foreign policy elite in understanding how to handle the problem of China.  It's time to stop playing chess and learn how to play Go.

The issue isn't so much cyber security as it is a need for an American Renaissance -- the restoration of conservative values and heightened education that have laid the foundation for America to become its own downfall as we witness today.

This is a war for the mind and soul of our nation.
