Episode 100 - Godsmack
Here it is. The final Bacio Death Trip and we're going out with a goddamn bang. Sadly, we also have to talk about Godsmack.
A sincere thanks to anyone who has listened, shared an episode, reached out to us, bought a shirt or given us $35,000.
#35kfamily for life.

Episode 99 - WWF's Forceable Entry
We're going through the theme songs that the album art claims 'rock'. But do they all rock? Did the wrestlers look cool and tough walking out to these tunes? I actually have no idea but two people who love wrestling, Psychonaut and Josh are able to guide me through it. The history, the impressions, the context, the blading, the motorbike noises. This episode is for hardcore wrestling fans and total WWF noobs like me. Live, laugh, learn, suplex.

Episode 98 - Far - Tin Cans With Strings To You with r/numetal
Finally an album by an artist that brings me absolute joy and isn't an aural onslaught. We're talking Far and in particular, their album from 1996 Tin Cans With Strings To You. This record was suggested by this week's guest, the moderator from r/numetal. When they agreed to be on the podcast, I figured they'd suggest Darwin's Waiting Room or 311 but I was legit shocked when they said Far - a band I have loved for ages with a singer, Jonah Mantranga who seems to epitomise the DIY spirit. But anyway, we do enough gushing on the episode.

Episode 97 - Ministry - Filth Pig with Nick Capper
Very lucky to be joined on this episode by comedian, Nick Capper to talk about Ministry's Filth Pig. An album written when Al Jourgensen when he had a $1,000 a day drug habit and recorded in a homemade studio in Texas full of stuff that was breaking down all the time. “ It was mean; it was ugly. It was music to kill yourself to because that’s what I was trying to do." A brutal album discussed on a soon to be award winning podcast with a great Australian comedian.

Episode 96 - Funeral for a Friend - Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation
Name a better album for us to kick off season 3 with. Actually, don't. I've got things to do today. But you can think of them in your head - maybe think of an album where the drummer doesn't keep switching to halftime or end songs with a splash hit.
Regardless of what album we're talking about today, we hope you had a good break from us and are ready for some more insightful and witty podcasting from a soon to be Grammy award winning podcast.
Also, legally I am required to say that Gobshite Industries are not operating any shell companies and I strongly discourage anyone from looking into it any further. Thank you.
Episode 95 - Insane Clown Posse - The Great Milenko
Here it is. What better way to end the year than going all in on the Insane Clown Posse. Yes, we cover their wrestling career. Yes, we look at their feud with Sharon Osbourne. Yes, we look at Detroit hip hop of the late 80s, early 90s. But most importantly, we look at The Great Milenko.
There's also a beautiful Christmas gift for all the Bacio Death Trip listeners!
Have a great holiday season and we'll see you in mid January.
Woop woop.

Episode 94 - Mushroomhead - XX
Mushroomhead are a rough listen and I am glad that misery loves company because I am joined by the legends that are Martin and Steve from the Is It Dad Rock Yet? podcast. I threw the proverbial padlock at their ears this week so we could talk about Mushroomhead's masks, water drums, tempos and their feud with Slipknot. Try and find a podcast on Mushroomhead that doesn't mention that Slipknot fight! Can't be done.
Welcome to the Bwomp Cinematic Universe.
Check out the Is It Dad Rock Yet? podcast here and follow them on Instagram.
Episode 93 - The Prodigy - The Fat of the Land
A true masterclass in sampling and raw energy, The Prodigy's The Fat of the Land is an all-timer for so many people. Listen as we chew the fat (get it?) - actually, ignore that pun. It's probably been done a million times. Listen as we discuss the band, the music, the Mums ironing while watching the Breathe film clip, the tragic passing of Keith, the samples, the raves.
Episode 92 - Neurotica and Smack Down Records
The links between the early 2000's nu-metal scene and wrestling are well known but did you know that WWE had their own record label but only released one non-wrestling title released? Well, that band was Neurotica. Fronted by Athiest's, Kelly Shaefer the band are now pretty hard to find anything about. The only real way to hear them is by finding a CD on eBay or tracks on Youtube, but luckily I'm joined by Josh (Circle Breaker and Hellion Child) who is a wrestling lifer and loves Neurotica. It's his comfort band. An auditory warm blanket.
So listen on in as we talk all things wrestling, Neurotica, Smack Down Records and NHL.

Episode 91 - Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
After much bullying from T-Moz and Connorlingus, we're doing it. We're going all in on Queens of the Stone Age and their incredible, fantabulous, technicolour dreamboat of a record, Songs for the Deaf. To be fair, we've been going all in on it since it came out in 2002. It's that good.
But this episode has it all - hot takes, insightful drum analysis, techno remixes, a great sponsor, a fun sing-songy game and many different pronounciations of the name 'Homme' because we be idiots.
Enjoy!
Episode 90 - DW Norton from Superheist
DW Norton is on the podcast this week to talk all things Superheist, music industry, recording, supporting Eminem, playing Big Day Out and yes, we talk about Berger because so many people want Berger back in the band - none more so than DW! You'll also get a sneak peak at some brand new, unreleased Superheist material. An incredibly candid chat that I reckon you'll really enjoy.
Check out Superheist's new album, MMXX wherever you get your music.
Big shoutout to Hayden for requesting an episode on The Prize Recruit and thanks to Simon for helping to hook it up!
Episode 89 - 36 Crazyfists - Bitterness the Star
Much like trying to sync up Pink Floyd's, The Dark Side of the Moon with The Wizard of Oz, there are rumours that this episode perfectly lines up with any episode of Home Improvement. Don't trust us? Give it a go. Or just put us on while you're cleaning your house and to hear us grapple with the fact that we really like this record. A fact I'll deny til the day I die.
Here's the episode of The Mosh Zone where Brock spoke about his vocal style.
Episode 88 - AJ Maddah
Music festivals. My experience with them has been well documented on this podcast. I'm super glad they are a thing but the idea of running one just seems like such a huge amount of work that it makes my head spin.
Luckily, I’m joined by AJ Maddah - a man who founded Soundwave Festival and Harvest Festival which saw bands like Deftones, Incubus, Sigur Ros, Nine Inch Nails, Beck, Faith No More, Iron Maiden, Slipknot, System of a Down, Metallica, Linkin Park - just to name a tiny fraction.
What makes a festival good? What do you have to consider when booking a headliner? I mean, I don’t really have an answer so it is for the best that I just ask AJ.
Episode 87 - Tomahawk - Self Titled
Can't believe it has taken has 87 episodes to get around to discussing a Mike Patton project. Well, it's more a Duane Denison project. But yeah, Tomahawk. Producers of one of the best live songs on Channel V, featuring members of Helmet, Melvins, The Jesus Lizard and Faith No More. A true supergroup that somehow got booed when they opened for Tool, despite being an absolute favourite of Adam Jones. We'll get into that and more on this soon to be award winning episode.
Episode 86 - Dropbear Studios Masks
Ever been sent a cease and desist letter by Slipknot's record label? Well, today's guest has. Dan from Dropbear Studios Masks is on the podcast today to talk about the replica mask world, creating his own masks, working with Diskust and buying Mushroomhead memorabilia. A really great chat with a great guy.

Episode 85 - Johnathan Devoy (Jerk, Queen of the Damned) Part II
He's back and this time he has stories about touring with Marilyn Manson, supporting P.O.D, playing with Killing Joke and a whole heap of tales from the set of Queen of the Damned, including hanging out with Aaliyah.
We also go further into Jerk - the recording process of their album When Pure Is Defiled, playing those Channel V bus shows and how he ended up being the singer of the band.
Again, another awesome chat with Johnathan that is well worth your listening time.
Episode 84 - Primus - Brown Album
A very brown cover for a brown sounding album. Talking Primus and their LP, Brown Album on this week's podcast with special guest Roxy who had the very difficult job of introducing me to the magical world of Les Claypool and band because I have never really listened to them before. I'm not a slap bass guy and I knew that Les is a creative force of nature so stepping into all the lore and cheese references felt overwhelming. Which album to start with? What do I need to know before listening?
A special thanks to Roxy for joining the podcast and sharing tales of what it is like to DJ Primus at a nightclub in Darwin and an even bigger shoutout to the Motorola G30 Power.
Episode 83 - Pitchshifter - www.pitchshifter.com
Mortal Kombat: Annihilation might not have won an Academy Award, but it did give us an incredible soundtrack and sitting right on Track 5 was Pitchshifter with their song, Genius taken from their 1998 album, www.pitchshifter.com. This album is pure punk rock guitars over drum machines with glitched out politically charged vocals so it is easy to see why their were hometown heroes in Nottingham but what isn't as easy to see if why their parting with Earache caused so much drama. Earache founder, Digby Pearson said "what a colossal waste of space that band turned out to be" - man, falling out of love can be rough. They say the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference but can the same be said when you have royalties, touring duties, song writing and recordings involved?
Check us out on Instagram too. Not going to link it. Just search Bacio Death Trip.
Episode 82 - United Kingdom Trip
I’m a high flying podcast deal maker who recently returned from a self-funded all expenses paid trip to the United Kingdom and we’re taking a break from dissecting Papa Roach lyrics to tell you about it. But it’s not all mile high-esque stories, at the end I’ll run through some listener mail, finally getting some insight on the nu-metal funeral held by Roadrunner Records AND there is a special super secret debut of a certain rap song for those who can endure til the end. Hodl.
Episode 81 - Sum 41 - All Killer No Filler
Yeah, we're doing a pop punk album and yeah, I am on the record as hating pop punk. Always have, always will...or is this the album that can bring me to the dark side? But to make sure it isn't a full pile on on the pop punk genre, we've brought in our dear friend, Monster Truck Marty - a devout Green Day, Blink 182 and Sum 41 fan who is here to argue for the band and give this episode some much needed balance.
Oh, in the chaos that was this episode I forgot to mention how much I hate this album cover. It isn't Creed's, Weathered bad, or Coal Chamber's, Chamber Music bad - but it is pretty goddamn bad.
If you had Humble Dolph Lundgren on your Bacio Bingo board this week, congratulations! Contact us on our Instagram for your prize.
Episode 80 - D12 - Devil's Night
Do you think if Eminem didn’t bring D12 out, he would still have as much respect in the rap game as he has? Or does this add to his legacy? Do you think Bizarre's flow is terrible and is basically the hip hop equivalent of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day? Have you heard Proof's Searching for Jerry Garcia? Whatever your answers are to these questions, you should listen to this podcast. Then follow us on Instagram. Then sign up to our Patreon. Then buy all of our merchandise. Then drop in-jokes from the podcast at house parties to deafening silence. Then binge all of the old episode. Then base your personality around the podcast. Then move to our commune and discover a true spiritual awakening.
In a desperate effort to pay off our CD writer, we have released another episode with a big sponsor, so please support them.
Also, I know at the start I say this is episode 78 but we shuffled some things around to get the Johnathan Devoy episode out because it was so good and the world needed to hear his Disturbed story as soon as possible.
Episode 79 - Jerk - When Pure is Defiled with Johnathan Devoy
Easily one of the best interviews, I've ever done, I know you're going to enjoy this episode with Jerk singer, Johnathan Devoy as we discuss touring with Insane Clown Posse and Disturbed, why he hates the single 'I Hate People Like That', what Johnny Rotten thinks of the band and of course, being the drummer in Queen of the Damned and how itchy eyebrow stubble can be.
Honestly, this episode is so much fun. Johnathan brought the A grade stories and a real candidness to the podcast.
Episode 78 - Segression - Smile with Chris Rand
I first saw Wollongong metal band, Segression all the way back in February, 2000 supporting an up and coming band out of Iowa called, Slipknot. I enjoyed their set, went and bought the album at Sanity and then started a soon to be award winning podcast that would eventually put me in touch with Chris Rand, the bassist and singer from Segression. Some people have said that Segression only started playing metal to have a member appear on Bacio Death Trip and whilst Chris and I don't get into that, we do talk about the ways in which Slipknot used to go about hiding their identities, performing karaoke with Zakk Wylde, singing Bleed with Soulfly at a Big Day Out, pre-workout (of course) and we do get into Smile - their third album which was released by Roadrunner Records (or was it?) back in 2000.
A must listen for any old school Australian metal fans!

Episode 77 - Sepultura - Roots
Sepultura. If it is good enough for Bjork, it’s good enough for you. What an amazing album. But is it the blueprint for nu-metal albums or is it an album full of free jams, tribe sounds and Ross Robinson energised endings?
We’ll take you through the recording of this album, the break up, the sneaky recording of their last show and gush over the world’s local metal man, Max Cavalera.

Episode 76 - Interview with Adam (Surfacing - Australian Slipknot Tribute)
The days of Slipknot playing small, intimate venues are well over. Thankfully, Australian Slipknot Tribute, Surfacing are bringing it to stages way too small for them and playing songs all through Slipknot's catalogue. Adam, the singer of Surfacing is on this week's pod to tell us about the cutthroat world of the Slipknot replica mask trade, lugging kegs and also his thoughts on Slipknot's newest single, The Dying Song (Time to Sing) which I stupidly call Time To Die because I'm nothing if not a consummate professional.

Episode 75 - The Mad Capsule Markets - OSC-DIS
You might think you haven’t heard The Mad Capsule Markets before, but if you played Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 then you have. Not me though. I dropped out after THPS2 so Mad Caps were new to me. I don’t even think I had seen their name written anywhere. Luckily, Psychonaut has been a fan for two decades now so he’ll guide us through the album.
They played Ozzfest, Download Fest, Fuji Rock, supported RATM and Fear Factory and those who love them absolutely love them so they are worth checking out.
If you’ve ever had Psycho Mantis creep up into your memory card or lost your mind to the Mortal Kombat theme, this is the episode for you.
So pop in and hear us talk about Japan’s very own, The Mad Capsule Markets.
Episode 74 - Silverchair - Diorama
Hi, I am a mid 30's Australian male and I have only just discovered how good Silverchair are. Well, in particular Neon Ballroom and this week's album, Diorama. Beautifully ambitious songs with imaginative orchestral scores underneath and a real sense of hope and optimism in the lyrics. Surely one of the few bands who found success, started wearing pork pie hats and actually got better!
We've tracked down an early member of the Llama Appreciation Society, the Silverchair fan club to hear what life was like as an early Silverchair fan and we play a very revealing game.
Enjoy!
Episode 73 - Stone Sour - Self Titled
We’ve got an entertaining podcast for you today, all about Stone Sour’s self titled record. he band Corey Taylor and Jim Root were in before Slipknot. You know, the album that has Bother on it? Yeah, that song with the film clip that has Corey wearing a Spiderman ring. Banger of a track. But if that was your first taste of Stone Sour, how does the rest of the album sound? Is it full of acoustic ballads or does it have too many songs that sound like Slipknot-Lite?
We’ve got a great game for you as well so we hope you enjoy this episode!

Episode 72 - Interview with Jason Brown (Sunk Loto)
That's right! 15 years after their last show, Sunk Loto are back and have a bunch of upcoming shows and to celebrate this incredible news, I was lucky enough to chat with singer, Jason Brown all about the reformation, recording their first ep, pre-workout and future plans for the band.
These long form interviews aren't something we've done on this podcast before so hopefully you enjoy it!

Episode 71 - Guano Apes - Don't Give Me Names
Guano Apes are a really tricky band to learn anything about. They don't do many interviews, Western media seem to ignore them and the album that we're talking about isn't on Spotify in Australia and I refuse to get an Apple Music account. So we're very lucky that Ez from Spacegoat joins us for this episode as she is a certified hardcore Guano Apes fan and has been for over twenty years.
Don't worry, I still manage to find a way to rag on RHCP.
An incredibly fun and funny podcast episode for you this week!

Episode 70 - Chimaira - Pass Out of Existence
Chimaira found themselves on a pretty big record deal from Roadrunner Records and had to deliver a pretty big record and to our ears, they did. But were the Roadrunner boffins happy with it? Were they able to break through the Hatebreed ceiling? This album has a lot of fans and personally, I reckon it's one of those 'if you know, you know' albums that is probably a lot more influential than people might think. It mixes Slipknot riffs with elements of Deftones and Fear Factory and singer, Mark Hunter has even said that Mudvayne's Death Blooms was an inspiration. I'd argue this album is way more consistent than LD50 though. I wonder what Mr. Muse would say.
Episode 69 - Crazy Town - The Gift of Game
I promise that you wil not find a more mature conversation about Crazy Town anywhere else than on this week’s episode of the soon to be award winning podcast, Bacio Death Trip. You’ll also struggle to find a funkier episode as well.
We give a bit more context to the band, their hit single Butterfly and see what Mr. Muse thinks of the record.
Enjoy!
Episode 68 - Muse - Absolution
Grey goo may be piling up so stockpile your baked beans and axes and hunker down as we talk bout Muse and their big, ambitious third album, Absolution. Another album where the opening track is called Intro. The interlude is called Interlude. Height of creativity here. But Matt Bellamy can write a song. He can hit the high notes. He can shred and smash a guitar. In fact he set a Guinness World Record for smashing the most guitars in a year, that's edgy. But that's Muse. They march forward bravely into new frontiers, writing dangerous songs tackling concepts like Compliance and getting high on your own supply.
Episode 67 - Drowning Pool - Sinner
Easily the most requested album we've had, it was great to learn more about much beloved frontman, Dave Williams but how does this album stack up? Without the WWF blasting their hit single, Bodies near 16 times a week, would that song be as ingrained in our memories? Or were Jagermeister right to sponsor the band, put them on Jagermeister tours and Jagermeister compilation CD's to help take them to a much bigger audience?
Episode 66 - Rob Zombie - Hellbilly Deluxe
An episode for the mud covered flower pot zombies this week as we talk Rob Zombie and his first solo record, Hellbilly Deluxe. Yup, the one with Dragula. A song that still slaps. Of course Rob's love of horror movies come up as well as the movies that the man himself has directed.
This album, and Mr. Zombie is totally in Psychonaut's wheelhouse. Industrial groove metal with hidden references to obscure horror movies from the 70s and video games like Twisted Metal 4 where you could play as Rob Zombie, hooning around in the Dragula from The Munsters.
I feel bad that we didn't mention that the great Joey Jordison played drums for Rob Zombie for a while but he did and you can read Rob's tribute to Joey here.
Episode 65 - Dry Kill Logic - The Darker Side of Nonsense
This episode is dedicated to all the former webmasters out there and we sincerely hope they take a break from finding a keygen for Microsoft FrontPage 98 and enjoy this episode on Dry Kill Logic's, The Darker Side of Nonsense. Is this a nu-metal classic? Is that even a good thing? Is there more on this record than first meets the eye? There must be, right? Because the numetal subreddit loves this album as do a bunch of Youtube commenters claiming this record is still in their regular rotation.
Also, where does The Dark Knight Rises rank in Batman movies? Like really, have a solid think about the massive plot holes. Are they forgivable?
Episode 64 - American Head Charge - The War of Art
A lot of bands from the early 2000’s have people claiming they are underrated. Releasing albums before everyone had the internet in the home has meant that their records are harder to find and the footage on Youtube is low res but also releasing albums after the industry had started losing money to online file sharing. But American Head Charge, and in particular this album is underrated. I hope to see AHC come back into fashion one day the same way Nirvana has. American Head Charge’s Just So You Know playing over every scene of the next Batman movie. Their shirts sold in K-Mart. I want an American Head Charge revolution so everyone can be walking down the straight with A Violent Reaction in their headphones, banging into people Bittersweet Symphony style.
But this is the first step in this revolution - listening to this episode. Be the change you want to see in the world.
Episode 63 - Linkin Park - Reanimation
Maybe the official title is [Reanimation] but regardless, we're back at Linkin Park base camp discussing their second release, Reanimation. So many remixes, so little time. But how gutsy was it releasing this after the massive hit, Hybrid Theory or was this just a cynical cash grab to keep the money coming in?
You can check out our remix playlist here.
Dance along to Dj Big Rig's In The End remix.
Episode 62 - Cradle of Filth - Midian
We finally get onto Cradle of Filth and loved learning more about Dani Filth. Look, there isn't a heap of Midian chat. A bit, but not a whole heap. I was trying to do the Cradle fans justice and figure out what it is they love about this band. The lyrics, the artwork, the music, the fashion or a mix of all of the above?
A huge thanks to our sponsor this week. Couldn't have done it without them!

Episode 61 - Creed - Human Clay
Trigger Warning: This episode contains references to self-harm, domestic violence, addiction and mental health issues.
I've been crowned the podcast angel and my first decree is that we must analyse Human Clay's cover art, discuss why Creed are a tricky band to listen to and go deep on Scream 3. Find me a worse film clip than Creed's, What If? I dare ya. Double dog dare ya.
Creed were massive. They sold a lot of records. But how does this album hold up?
Also, don't worry horny Dads, we've got something special for you.
Love always,
BDT

Episode 60 - Ill Niño - Revolution Revolución
How does a band made from New Jersey hardcore musicians end up being a nu-metal band that is constantly referred to in the same sentence as Soulfly? Strap on your alcoholic mittens and listen along as we talk all things Ill Niño. From singing in a second language to writing on an acoustic guitar as well as getting Dr. Drums on the phone to find out if Ill Niño make good use of their extra percussion.
It's all happening on an action packed episode of your this week's Bacio Death Trip, or as the hip kids call us these days, 'BDT'.
As always, everything we have said on this episode comes with a blanket alleged.
Check out Puya - Fundamental
Episode 59 - Tenacious D
Brace yourself for some serious name dropping during our very own pick of destiny story as we talk Tenacious D's self-titled album. This album has a place in a lot of people's hearts and the metal community really embraced the 'D. They played just before Slipknot at Rock Am Ring just a few years ago to dudes in Arch Enemy shirts singing along and to pay full respect to the band and this album, we were lucky enough to find someone who spent New Year's Eve with Tenacious D many years ago, so listen up for the inside scoop that only a hard hitting podcast like Bacio Death Trip can provide.
If you listen to this podcast and don't follow us on Instagram, you should strongly consider it.
This episode is brought to you by the Ultimate DJ Battle Championships. Proud to have them on board supporting the show!
Episode 58 - P.O.D - The Fundamental Elements of Southtown
P.O.D landed on the scene in a big way with The Fundamental Elements of Southtown. Big, bouncy energy coupled with songs about Christianity and to celebrate it, we talk about tantric sex and WCW wrestlers. What more than you could want?
Oh, you want rap? Done.

Episode 57 - Otep - Sevas Tra
::: TRIGGER WARNING::: This episode discusses issues around sexual assault.
Lars might have hated peer 2 peer file sharing but without Napster, iMesh, Kazaa and Limewire how was a young girl in Australia able to get her hands on Otep's album, Sevas Tra? This week we are joined by Ez Eddy from Spacegoat. Someone who loved this album so much that she had a massive Step sticker on the back of her car and took some of Otep's lyrics as her first email address. Big time fan.
But you can't talk about this band without discussing the enigma that is Otep Shamaya and you can't appear on Bacio Death Trip without getting sucked into a conversation about snares.
Does Otep have a better rap flow than Papa Roach? Is Jack Osbourne a mountain climbing kickboxer these days? Have you seen Dr. Drums?
Check out Spacegoat here and follow them on Instagram.
Episode 56 - Flaw - Through The Eyes
Podcasting is a brutal industry. You're only as strong as your listeners, unless of course you have some kind of podcast angel on your side. So when an incredible listener, Dustin actually used the Request an Album form on our website and suggested we do an episode on a beloved album of his, Flaw - Through The Eyes, of course we obliged. But what happens when one of the co-hosts can't stand the album? Our podcast style determines your listening style.
Personally, I don't mind this album. I've got a soft spot for floaty bands. The singer is a different story. You'll hear more in this episode!
If you're not folllowing the Bacio Death Trip Instagram, you're listening to too much hip hop and heavy metal.
Episode 55 - Avril Lavigne - Let Go
We comb through the data and crunch the numbers to see if this album is indeed, pop-punk. Actually doesn't matter because this album is a banger and we'll be first in line to see the promised Sk8r Boi movie sometime this year to mark the 20th anniversary of this album launching and blowing up every radio and tv.
Avril grab taken from Billy D'Arcy's podcast, Get Around Me. Billy's podcast is pretty much my only source for cricket news.

Episode 54 - Murderdolls - Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls
This week we take on somewhat lovable horror-punk group Murderdolls. If you missed out on Famous Monsters era Misfits with Michele Graves, then Murderdolls were there for a young generation to experience the similar thrills and spills one would expect from a B-Movie loving bunch of punks. But how much Murderdolls were the Murderdolls and how much were they Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13?
So shave your eyebrows, cover White Wedding and jump on Wednesday 13's tour bus as we revisit this fun album.

Episode 53 - At The Drive-In - Relationship of Command
If you aren’t listening to Relationship of Command, you’re listening to too much hip hop and heavy metal. You’re also not listening to enough Bacio Death Trip. No one is though. Put in the hours. Make it form your personality like some fedora wearing dude reading The Game. Start negging us as we peacock around and talk about a band that imploded 6 months after this amazing album came out.
Yes we talk about the Big Day Out walk off, the guitar work, scaring Robbie Williams on Later with Jools, the kick in the throat to nu-metal and as always, the world’s greatest character actor gets a mention.
It’s a good time to invest in Bacio Death Trip because one of us is really smart now.
Episode 52 - Downthesun
In the early 2000's, Roadrunner Records released so much music from a lot of bands you probably never heard of. Downthesun might be one of them but are they worth your time all these years later? I mean, they were championed and produced by Clown from Slipknot, so they can't be all bad, can they?
Plus, you'll finally get to hear if I would rather listen to Cold's, 13 Ways to Bleed Onstage or the Foo Fighters', There's Nothing Left to Lose. It's a real heart vs head moment. Difficult choices were made.
Great sponsor this week and a very fun game as well.
Constantly grinding. Moving truthfully. Eyes open. Eyes shut. Always.
Episode 51 - Cold - 13 Ways To Bleed On Stage
I'm at a loss as to what to write here. I don't want to tease anything that happens on this episode except for the fact that it was really fun to record. Alright, you twisted my arm. I love Cold - well, the first two albums anyway. But that's all I'm going to say. If you have has as much fun listening to the episode as we did recording it, then that's awesome.
Please let us know what you think of the album! We'd honestly love to hear it - and don't forget to enter the Bacio Death Trip competition to go into the running to win a signed American history X script. Not sure who it is signed by, but it is 100% signed.
