Having a baby is a life changing experience in so many ways, and being prepared for being a mother as well as the entire pregnancy journey is so important. As mothers, a part of this preparation is staying aware of the hardships that come with the pregnancy journey, especially if you are a woman of color. Whether that be micro-aggressions in the hospital, lack of compassion from the people around you, or any other unethical treatment you may go through due to being a woman in this society.
