S7Q4 Question Zone Episode 4 (Christmas Special)

S7Q4 Question Zone Episode 4 (Christmas Special)

1 a) Reply to the Comment of Bob S.

"Read Isaiah 7:14. Does that sound like the life of Jesus? Where's the death by crucifixion to take on the sins of mankind? And there's no miraculous birth, either. A girl who, at that moment, was a virgin would conceive and then give birth is no miracle."

1 b) So what other full-filled prophecies are or have been proven and are backed by historical writings?

TIS THE SEASON, LET'S DISCUSS SOME CHRISTMAS QUESTIONS

2. Christmas: How did the tree and lights, or “ lighting “ of the tree, become part of our modern celebration?

3. What can we learn from the real St. Nicholas?

4. Christ’s birth, December 25, Christmas story…. How did they all get tied together?

5. Are Christians evangelizing by just celebrating the holiday?

6. Is there any harm in kids believing in Santa ?

7. Are Christian parents lying and deceiving their children by portraying the myth of Santa ? 8. Something significant happened to make the world start counting time and so we now have a calendar. Did they record time and dates the way we do today before the BC/AD era?

The Antiochene school was found in Antioch, Syria from the 2nd to 5th century AD. This school took a more literalistic approach to Scripture.
