Teachers spend so much time overwhelmed by waves of theory, pedagogy and quality first teaching that it's very easy to forget that it's often the simplest things a teacher does that students cherish most. Besides, how often do we get a chance to actually sit down with learners to ask: Is it working? What helped? What shall we scrap? What shall we double up on? In this episode, we get a brief insight into exactly this. Year 11 students, Tayyabah, Emaan, Farhan and Owais, get together to discuss some of their favourite teachers and what it is that makes them so great. 

The teacher very much becomes the student in this episode, where we are joined by year 11 student, Zeeshan, to learn more about AI: what it is, some of its global applications and what it holds for the future.

Today, we would like to think we live in a world where our differences are celebrated and one's cultural heritage is a source of unmitigated pride. The truth remains, however, that for many people, their heritage and the role it plays in shaping their identity can also be a source of a lot of our pain, especially for children of the diaspora. In this episode, Miss Rathore joins Mr Chothia to give an insight into her life, and the struggles that came with growing up as a child of mixed heritage. Two of our recent graduates, Abdullah and Noor, join Mr Tyrie to discuss their BCHS journeys, cast a light on teenage mental health and the evolving challenges faced by young people, and whether the tide seems to be turning favourably.

This week, hosts Mr Buckley and year 10 student, Isra, are joined by Miss O'Brien and Mr Chothia to discuss the role of God in their lives. Miss O'Brien talks about the role of religion on her upbringing and Irish culture and our relationship with religion today.
