And the Crowd Goes Wild with Yes Segura!
Between his own business, making sure that the Yes For Transit campaign was successful, and just living his life, He squeezed me in his busy schedule to talk about being trans in the workforce, his intersections, dealing with conservative relatives and again, just living his life being victorious. Let's give it up for Yes Segura! Rahhhhhhh!

Stand Up For Justice with rIVerse!
Ya'll, it was cool chatting with Dizz and Khadija of rIVerse. We discussed a lot from Black Lives Matter, diversity, intersections and their journey and their song "Stand Up". They describe this powerful track as "a searing call-to-action in the current global fight against police brutality and systemic racism. The track empowers listeners of all races to fight back against police violence, racial profiling and a corrupt system that targets Black men, women, and children." Creativity, Queerness and Covid times: Felton Kizer
Yep, we're still in a pandemic. Or if you read this wayyyyy later, there was a pandemic at the time. What have you been doing during this time? Has your creativity sparked? Or continued? It was cool to chat with Felton and learn more about his journey on creativity, intersectionality and beyond! Remember everyone that creativity intersects everything!

"We will be calling into our circle of community those precious beings we have lost to police state violence so casually perpetrated against us as well as a racist healthcare system that has cost the lives of too many to Covid-19.
This offering takes place as many of us are physically separated from our loved ones and communities to underscore that we are not alone in our anger or grief."

Bonus Episode: Introducing Les’s Lighthouse January 2020 30-Day Manifestation Challenge!
I took the stand-up comedy stage for the first time, even joining a collective of women committed to making our art and work better.
I took some of the messages from the videos and vended my card line for the first time.
I still managed to find time to go to my full-time job and follow my partner Kristen all over the place as we support the growth of her urban planning and policy venture The Black Urbanist.
What you haven’t seen as much until lately is the struggle. The health challenges. The changes at work. Still feeling like I have to be a certain way or in a certain space to survive.
And then I sat down and thought about how I really want to enter 2020.
I’m a firm believer in being able to manifest what you need in your future and I’ve decided to challenge myself over the next 30 days, starting on January 1, to apply some of the wisdom and lessons I’ve learned in my life actively.
I’m inviting you to join me, FOR FREE, on this journey.
If you decide to do so, you’ll see a message around 8 am Eastern,
, on the Les’s Lighthouse Facebook group page, in your email (subscribe at www.leslighthouse.com), with a daily lesson and challenge. Then around 8:30-8:45 pm Eastern, I will go live in the Facebook group and encourage you to share your thoughts and tease what the next day’s challenge will be.
Don’t despair if you miss a one or a couple of days. All the messages will stay up through the challenge and we will have a moment for you to reflect on your progress as we go through the course.
Also, stay tuned for special bonuses and chances to work with me in the future.
Again, this is a chance to work with me and see my training methods FOR FREE, which is not guaranteed in the future.
Again, follow the Les’s Lighthouse GROUP page so you won’t miss out on all of the trainings, not just the daily nugget of wisdom from January 1-30 as we start 2020 with purpose!
Btw: I cuss. So there will be cursing. Not a lot, but some. But we all say a fuck and a shit here and there. But if there’s sensitive ears around...
