Our young people recently went on an excursion to Bannockburn as part of their learning within History. Listen to their feedback and what they enjoyed about the trip. Overall, it is clear that they would definitely recommend a visit to the centre!

In today's episode our young people talk about their experiences whilst completing the John Muir Award. The Trust's John Muir Award is an environmental award scheme focused on wild places. It is inclusive, accessible and non-competitive, though should challenge each participant.  The Award encourages awareness and responsibility for the natural environment through a structured yet adaptable scheme, in a spirit of fun, adventure and exploration.

This podcast features our young people discussing the United Nation's Convention on the Right's of the Child (UNCRC). The young people involved are supporting our Right's Respecting School Steering Group and they discuss their progress on this important area within our school. 

This podcast features a Q+A session featuring our talented S1 young people. They answer some questions that current Primary 7 pupils asked about Bearsden Academy.

Book Week Scotland is an annual celebration of books and reading that takes place across Scotland. In this podcast, our reading ambassadors, along with Miss Welsh, discuss what helps them engage with reading and recommendations they have for both younger and older pupils.
