In this episode, we had the pleasure to talk with Yoann Roig, a film director from Luzzane Switzerland who is now trying to jump from independent films to bigger budget productions. He is known for La Voie du Silence (2020), Dissonance (2021) and Brotherhood Spirit, a Parkour Movie (2018), and now finishing his first feature-length fictional film. In this episode, we talk with Salma ElShami, an artist and project manager based in Berlin. Salma has worked in many different positions in the creative industry before finding herself as an artist manager. She worked both as an independent filmmaker and also for big corporations such as Yahoo and Google. Along her journey, she gathered experience being on set and teaching young creatives the art of filmmaking. We talked a lot about how relationships in the creative industry work, bringing it from manager to artist, or also creative to client. Salma shared many great insights on how to start and keep good relationships in the industry. You don't want to miss that.
