76 | How To Change The Way You Look At Things
Have you ever heard the quote that says, "When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change"? It's one of my favorites and ever since I first heard it, has given me the means by which I am able to totally shift my life in an instant. Once we realize that were capable of changing our perspective and how deeply that changes the way we feel, so much positive change can take place in our life. AND we become much more open to recognizing what we have going for us rather than always what is challenging us as well as start to notice the many magical and wonderful gifts we are handed every single day IF we pay attention. Try it out for yourself and see! Topics include: Changing thoughts, creating your life, law of attraction, random acts of kindness, self help, personal growth, personal development, self empowerment. 73 | What We're Hiding From
There's so many times in our lives I'm find ways to medicate, numb out, and hide from what is really going on because we are in a state of discomfort. The problem is that we think we are doing this in an effort to feel better but checking out from our lives only makes us feel worse. How can we stop from getting to a place where we feel so uncomfortable and want to hide? I think for so many women who are high achieving, go getters it is really difficult to stop and step back and take a look at why and for whom we are working so hard to achieve so much. Whether we are in a period of transition, or are upset that we are unable to make something happen in our life that we want, or our overwhelmed from having way too much on our plate, we have got to be willing to care about how we feel and to really focus on what we want and what kind of life we want to create for ourselves. Regardless of what other people's expectations are of us. Once we turn our attention to ourselves, we are able to live more freely and with greater and her peace and stop all of the hiding. 72 | Perfectionism Is Causing You Pain
Are you a perfectionist? Are you a high achieving woman? So many of us who have spent our lives trying to be and do and have it all can identify with these descriptors. Whether it is about your body, your career, your home, your family, or your finances, there are myriad ways that we aim high and set unreasonable and unattainable standards for ourselves. Trying to achieve perfection in any area is a losing battle because perfection isn't real. But! Knowing that is not enough. We must become willing to identify where our striving for perfection is making us miserable and care more about our own inner peace than about achieving "perfection". How do we do this? For many of us it is about stopping seeking external validation from others. For others who are constantly seeking their own validation, it's about recognizing the perfectionism is an unrealistic finish line that is causing you pain and that your greatest happiness lies on the other side of seeking it. 71 I Why Can't We Slow Down
I know I can't be the only one who runs myself ragged until I hit a wall going 100 miles an hour and can't take another step! I think it is one of our universal burdens as women that we multitask and take on so many things that we aim to do at such a high level all at once. The work for us here is in recognizing what is too much and what we can let go of and being willing to take things off of our plate. Boundaries with others are always important but what about setting boundaries with ourselves? I realized that these are some of the most vital boundaries to be set and we have to be willing to tell ourselves one enough is enough. What's more, we have to be aware of recognizing when we feel guilty for taking the time we need for ourselves and be WILLING to let it go. This is still.hard for me too but I'm working on both of these things every day. I am willing! Are you? Find me on Instagram @iamgracebeason

70 | Managing Uncomfortable Feelings
Rage! Is this something you experience? It is something that I have been struggling with and didn't even realize it until it crept into my life once I stopped drinking alcohol. My rage is mostly related to parenting and frustrations I have raising young children and has reared it's ugly head all too often over the past year, specifically. I have done and continue to do deep work on managing my rage responses and have some great tools to share here. While rage may not be something you feel specifically, I'm betting you have experienced frustration, irritation, and anger. These are all similar feelings and what we want to do is identify what's causing them and learn how to slow ourselves down before we reach a level 10 and lose it with a big outburst, explosion, meltdown. I hope these tools are useful to you as they continue to be for me. Rage feels awful and I want to feel it less as I'm sure you want to feel your most uncomfortable feeling less (whatever name you have for it). 69 | Speak To Yourself With Kindness
Mostly this episode is about how to speak to yourself with kindness and compassion especially when you have done something that you are disappointed by or have let yourself down in some way. The way we speak to ourselves really matters. Believe it or not, the things that we say to ourselves we believe! The words we use and even the intonation and inflection matter and certainly the feeling behind them. Here's how I work on speaking to myself with more kindness and compassion and understanding when I have done something that lets me down. You also may get a good laugh from the beginning of the episode when I share with you the trials and tribulations of having a nine and a half year old who listens to explicit lyrics. God help me! 68 | How To See The Forest For The Trees
How can we know what we want from our lives or what is working for us and what isn't if we never take a step back? This is a lesson I recently learned. I may have known it before, but never put it into practice quite as I did this month. When we are in a state of overwhelm it is nearly impossible to see what it is that is affecting us. When we take a step back and look at the big picture and are able to look at the details instead of at all of the chaos as a whole, we are able to find clarity and be more decisive about how to move forward powerfully. Come with me as I explain how to see the forest for the trees! Find me on Instagram @IamGraceBeason

67 | Shame Is A Four Letter Word
Shame, shame! It is a shame we spend so much time feeling shame. It is a natural state of affairs that we as women carry around shame for so many things in our life ranging from what we've eaten to what we've said to what we believe we ought to have done or who we should be in the world. But what does shame do? Why does it exist? does it serve a beneficial purpose? My answer is always going to be that it does nothing but harm our relationship with ourselves and hold us back. We have got to become willing to release shame and move forward. It is possible! There is a way. And it feels so free. I also share some thoughts about mental health interventions and the many and varied things we as individual women need in order to be okay. 66 | Checking Your Ego, Managing Expectations, And Taking Nothing Personally
On the heels of my 45th birthday, which was largely a very special and lovely day, I bring to you the process of working through an argument with the one I love. What happens when we lead with our egos and take things personally? We end up in a fruitless battle and everyone ends up hurt. It's even worse when there are high expectations in the mix! Our egos are often disguised and we don't realize we've brought them to the party until they explode and cause a breakdown we weren't expecting. So, what we do in this happens? In a perfect world, we would avoid it at all costs by leading with our authentic selves and recognizing what's what. That takes a lot of work! We've got to go easy on ourselves and know that we will make mistakes. So when our egos do bump up against other peoples, we just have to become aware in that moment or that day or as soon as we can and step back, take a breath, get into our hearts, and acknowledge the pain that has occurred, that we may have caused, apologize, be curious and compassionate and find a way to move on. Also, keep your expectations in check. Having too high of expectations for any given day can often lead to pain and disappointment. Go in openly, ready for anything, work on not taking anything personally that people say, and life will flow so much more freely and easily. As always, I am here doing the work with you! I hope this is helpful when you have your next collision of egos with the one you love. Resources I share in this episode include A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle, The Work by Byron Katie, and The Four Areements. Please follow me on Instagram @iamgracebeason

65 | Transforming Your Life (Efficiently & Sustainably)
We play so many roles as busy women and yet none is more important than the role we play in our own lives. Problem is, we don't focus on it enough or give it the attention that it deserves. Our relationship with our self is everything and we want it to be stronger, but how? We are in so much pain over so many things. We are able to let this pain go and I can show you the way! I have transformed my life in such powerful, incredible ways over the past two years and because I have done this hard work, I am able to be here now to show you how you too can make changes. It doesn't matter what kind of change you are seeking! It could be small or huge, there could be a big list or a little one, but regardless of what it is it all comes down to your willingness to turn your attention towards yourself in order to set yourself free. This is possible for you and is something you can learn to do efficiently and sustainably. Not only that, it will feel GOOd and be FUN and the bonus is that everyone around you will benefit as well. 64 | How To Come Home To Yourself
I know some of you busy moms out there are thinking to yourself that I'm going to be talking about how to come home and find an empty house without noisy children and a million things to do! Sounds great, I know, but that is not what I'm talking about. Coming home to yourself is all about the process of tapping into who you really are and what you really want out of life after spending days, months, years, prioritizing everyone other than yourself. It is about making the choice to put yourself at the top of the list. It is about recognizing, learning, and embodying the notion that you are worthy of this. It is about your willingness to take the time to turn the focus, attention, love, care on yourself and to know that you are just as worthy of it as everyone else. What's more, that when you do, all of the people in your life benefit. It is about getting quiet and listening to your inner voice. Prioritizing yourself with time and care but also by being willing to be who you are and to care more about how you feel than what people think. And the gift at the end of the road is what? Inner peace. Connection. Greater joy, clarity, fulfillment and the life that you want and deserve. Are you with me? I will give you step-by-step tips for how to do this today and every day! 63 | Celebrating 2 Years Sober & Everything Being Brighter
Today I celebrate and Mark a very important, significant, special day in my life that I never imagined I would. 2 years ago today I willingly, consciously, bravely, and wholeheartedly removed alcohol from my life and have never looked back. There is no simple way to share how I feel about this or the magnitude of the pride and Joy I feel at this accomplishment. Mostly what I want you to hear from me is that in listening to my inner voice I set myself free and gave myself life in a way I never knew existed and that the beauty that is on the other side of pain is always worth going after. That my relationship with myself truly began two years ago on this day and that I never could have imagined feeling this good in my own skin. that you are not too old and it is not too late ever to make a change in your life and go after what you want. This is about willingness. This is about releasing shame. This is about caring more about how you feel than about what others think. This is about living your life the way you want to live it. I'm so honored and thankful to have started my sober journey here with you two years ago and to be here with you today and share this moment means everything to me. 62 | The Girl I Always Was
I've been cleaning out my mom's house and attic and that has meant going through boxes and boxes of my own memorabilia and photos. Sifting through piles of the last four decades of my life has caused me to look at my life in a way I never have, to look at me in a way I never have. The irony is that this deep spiritual work I have done over the last couple years has led me to know wholeheartedly that our spirit has always remained the same and always will remain the same. It is what guides us. It has never changed, and it never leads us astray. But looking at these dozens of photos of my face and body from the day I was born until very recently allowed me to look in my eyes and see that at any different age I was, I was the same. I was the girl that I always was. Circumstances changed, I lived in different places, I tried out different personalities and ways of being, friendships came and went, some friendships stayed for years and years, I built a family, I built a career... On and on. But now I know for sure that one thing that has never changed is who I am inside. I find this so amazing, so comforting, and ultimately just the coolest truth there is about my life and our lives And I'm so grateful to have come to this knowing at the end of this difficult road of dismantling my mother's home and life. 59 | Moving Forward With Intention
Happy 2021! New year, new you? Nooooo, none of that. Let's hear into the year just as we are. No resolutions that we break and feel bad about. No focus on what's "wrong" with us that we "need to change". We have what we need and are who we are and that is a beautiful thing! But I do love the idea of choosing a word for the year or setting an intention for the year or even just for the month or for the day ahead. It feels positive, attainable, and allows us to feel good about where we are and where we are going and gives us a place to shift back into when we get off course. It's a lovely little gift to yourself as you begin a new chapter. Thanks for listening! Find me on Instagram @iamgracebeason or on my website www.gracebeasoncoaching.com

58 | Why The Holidays Feel Hard
If you're anything like me, you are feeling a sense of relief that Christmas is over. And that is okay! Nothing to feel bad about. Mixed with the magic of the holiday season, also comes a lot of stress and exhaustion and this year in particular the holidays bring sadness, a sense of loss, and even sometimes a loss of hope. I've got some thoughts and feelings on why we are all feeling some kind of way this year and while I may not have the answers for how to feel better immediately, I do have some ideas about how to move through the feelings and I absolutely have some hope to share. Happy Holidays! I so appreciate you listening and passing this along to anyone you think may benefit. 57 | Practice Gratitude Like A Religion And Set Boundaries Religiously
You may have heard this time and time again, but the absolute truth is that being grateful changes your life for the better. Practicing gratitude like a religion everyday, many times a day, maybe even all day, changes the way you move through life and calls into your life all of the good feelings you may be seeking and not finding right now. It is so easy, it is free, and it is a powerful truth you can experience immediately that when you express gratitude for the life you have no matter how hard things are, you will shift from a place of fear to a place of feeling good and being okay no matter what is going on. Another important reminder especially during this time of year is to set boundaries with others and with yourself and stick to them. It can be very uncomfortable, can change relationships, and can feel hard to do but once you do... You will feel so free, so light, and so glad that you were brave enough to do it. These things are truly gifts you can give yourself. They are all that I want for Christmas, I can tell you that! The poem I reference is called I thank you God by e.e. cummings. 56 | Weathering The Storms Within Us
Do you know how important it is to keep yourself calm no matter what is happening in your life and the world around you? We cannot be who we need and want to be for anyone else or take care of anything in our very challenging lives effectively if we are swirling around in our own inner turmoil. We just prioritize our own calm, our own good feeling, our own internal sense of peace. There is a way! I'll talk it through here today as I work on calming my own storms and will also touch more on how important it is that we fully embody and believe in our son self worth, release self doubt, and set fire to our limiting beliefs so that we can be or do or have anything we want out of life. 55 | Social Media Is The Thief Of Joy
Have you ever heard the saying, "Comparison is the thief of joy"? This is my feeling about social media today and many days. I am really feeling the negativity brought on by too much scrolling this week and today I'm talking through what creates that and what we can do about it. It's no secret that people use social media most of the time to share the highlight reels of their lives. This can lead us to comparing our own lives to others, even if what we are are inferring about them from what we are seeing is absolutely false. It is our job to consume it all consciously and carefully, understanding that so much of it is not real and is not serving us in any positive way. And, when our consumption leaves us feeling depleted, depressed, and less than, it is our job to take a break from it and hit the reset button by focusing on our own inherent worth and reminding ourselves that the validation we seek externally can already be found within us. 54 | Caring About Feeling Good
So many people have been asking me recently what I do when I am feeling down and also how do I lead with my authentic self and care less about what other people think and more about how I feel? Today is a quick and helpful handbook for how I manage my own struggles and difficult times, and how you might more powerfully and effectively choose your own authentic life and good feelings rather than focusing on your fears surrounding how others view your life and decisions. 53 | Changing Your Thoughts & Trusting Yourself
Change your thoughts, change your life. Your thoughts turn into things. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change. These are all concepts created by spiritual teacher Wayne Dyer. I love his work. And it is so true that your thoughts have power. It is also true that you are able to change your thoughts. When you notice that they are negative and not serving you, you can simply turn them into a different thought. And it's important to do, because the things you think about cause you to feel a certain way and when you feel a certain way you act in a certain way. So, learning to identify and change your thoughts allows you to bring about change in your life. And what about how to trust yourself? How do we learn to do that? And how we might seek our own internal validation more than external validation after years of caring more about what others think then how we feel? How do we identify our own inner voice and how do we make it the most important voice we hear and listen to? I will explore the process of awareness, desire, willingness, and action when it comes to bringing about change in your life and trusting yourself to do it. 52 | When You've Got Nothing Left To Give
What do you do when you are completely tapped out and realize that you have nothing left to give? You are not able to communicate in the way that you normally do, you can't be there for people in the way that you want to, and you can't even find the words to say the things that you want to say and that came so easily to you before. You take a break and stop talking, that's what you do. You go inward, retreat inside yourself. You take time to laugh, cry, think, be. And one day you will feel better, come out of your shell, and feel more like yourself again. You always do. But it's important to give yourself time and space and experience the feelings you are having about all of the many things you are facing this year. There's so much to learn this year about grieving, patience, stamina, resilience, and also about finding the bright spots during challenges. Thank you for listening today as I talk about the break from words that I have taken for the last 7 weeks or so. The quote I read at the end of the episode is from Don Quixote and this is it: All these squalls to which we have been subjected are signs that the weather will soon improve and things will go well for us, because it is not possible for the bad or the good to endure forever, and from this it follows that since the bad has lasted so long, the good is close at hand. 51 | Someone Else's Success Does Not Impact Your Own
What is your immediate reaction when you see someone else experiencing great success? It could be love, career, health, money, travel... anything. Sure, there are times when you are very happy for people that you love. But if you are truly honest with yourself, are there also many times when you are scrolling through Instagram and see someone else's success and are left feeling bad? And why is that? Today I talk about the concept of experiencing others' success in a different way than you have been doing and viewing it as something positive and to be celebrated. This not only helps you expand your vision for what you want in your own life, but allows you to truly know that you are able to have that success as well. I also teach you one of the most fun Law Of Attraction "magic tricks" that you can put to use in your own life to create more abundance and joy. Connect with me on Instagram @iamgracebeason

50 I Empowering Women To Have Agency Over Their Bodies
as a 44-year-old woman, I have spent my life believing that my weight defines me and that I am to trust every medical person who I come into contact with regardless of whether or not They know me or have my best interests at heart. As I learned to prioritize myself, advocate for myself, and love myself in the way that I know how to now, I also understand that a number on a scale doesn't make me who I am and that loving myself means loving every nook and cranny and flaw that I may see or feel. It also has led me to the knowledge and understanding that I am in control of my medical care and anyone I choose to see or trust when it comes to caring for my body. These are things I share vulnerably in this podcast in order that I might empower other women to do the same. When we truly love ourselves and when we learn to trust our intuition, We will find the way to our greatest overall health and wellness. Instagram Resources: @emodiedpsychotherapist @werenotweighting

It turns out, it really matters that we know how we feel and that we care about how we feel and that we *prioritize* how we feel. Are you ready to put yourself first? At the top of the show, I'll guide you through one of the most important practices for manifesting your desires and something taught by LOA superstar Abraham Hicks about the importance of gratitude and of caring about how you feel. After a month off from recording, I was finally ready today to sit back down and unpack some of the things going on in our country and in my world including taking a long, hard look at my own white privilege and how I'm working to change the thought patterns and behaviors I've long held about black people without even really realizing. I am learning, I am listening, I am willing to change. Stacie first joined me for a conversation on March 9th when we were just starting to feel the tug of Covid-19 making an impact on our country, but before we could begin to imagine how quickly our lives as we knew them would change. Nearly 8 weeks later, Stacie is back with some thoughts, ideas, and tools for how to manage the burnout you may be feeling with all you are managing at home or the burnout you may be feeling from being stuck at home with little to do. More than anything, Stacie offers us her usual comfort and calm combined with her powerful and simple yet applicable tools for shifting our thoughts and, above all, being gentle with ourselves as we continue living through and with (and not despite!) the challenges we are facing. Episode 44 | What To Do When You Feel Like You're Failing At Everything
Do you ever have one of those days, or weeks, or months, or quarantines when you feel like you are constantly letting yourself and others down? When you feel like you are a failure at everything? Me, too. So what do we do when we feel like we are failing? How do we find a way not to let ourselves down? I think the answer lies somewhere between self-acceptance, self-compassion, and reducing or removing the expectations we have of ourselves and others. Easier said than done, I know. It's a journey, as is everything we do in life. But I found this realization very helpful and I hope that you do too! Episode 43 | Maybe We're All Grieving
If you're like me, or anyone else on the planet affected by this global crisis called Covid-19 then you've been feeling a lot of things. To varying degrees, I'm sure we are all on a roller coaster of emotions and they go up and down every day and throughout each day. But lately I've been feeling a lot of anger and frustration and I couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from specifically until the knowing washed over me that I am grieving. We all are. And grief can look and feel a lot like anger. You may be more sad than you realize and I hope this helps you identify where you are and, in that acknowledgement, allow yourself to feel what you need to feel. Strangely, just the shift to allowing yourself to grieve can help to swiftly usher anger out the door. Instagram and Facebook: @gracebeasoncoaching Website: www.gracebeasoncoaching.com

Episode 42 | How To Talk About Money with Amy Fuentes
Today I have a great and timely conversation with life coach and financial expert Amy Fuentes. Amy is a transformational life coach and after experiencing and triumphing over her own hardships has taught adults how to manage money. She's also an expert on how to talk to and teach our children about money. She has created a new course entitled Raising Money-Savvy Kids which can be found through Amy's website: www.lilolacoaching.com after May 2nd. She also offers a bunch of free Resources! I've learned so much from Amy about how to persevere through hard financial times and how to raise kids who are financially empowered. Living and leading from a place of abundance rather than lack, scarcity, and fear is VITAL during this time -- and all times -- and Amy is arming us with many of the tools we need in order to do so. I so hope this conversation is as useful for you as it is for me! 💗 www.lilolacoaching.com | Amy Fuentes and also Aha Moments With Amy on YouTube and Facebook!

Episode 41 | This Is A Pandemic, NOT A Productivity Contest
Dr. Caroline Leaf shared the quote of the Pandemic, if you ask me. "This is a Pandemic, NOT a productivity contest." It's time we loosen up on the expectations we have for ourselves and others during this time. Wow, do I need that advice! I've got to really work on acting on it. But we as we see that this is a marathon and not a sprint, we have got to pace ourselves, give ourselves Grace, and be OK with doing whatever it is we need to do in order to thrive during this time -- or perhaps, for some of us, just survive. Today we recognize that our best laid plans may need to be flushed down the toilet. We must remain open to shifting course, readjusting, and removing what no longer serves us. Do what we need to do, whatever that means! I, for one, will be heading out for a bike ride and then watching Bravo. What will you do? Here's a link to my Because Why Not podcast playlist on Spotify. Episode 39 | Tips For Being At Home & Liking It
Whew! What a month this week has been. Am I right? We're living through something unthinkable. Something Nour generation and those above and below us have only ever read about. The news is scary, things are uncertain, and we feel out of control. But there is so much beauty around us too and so many incredible things being created and put into the world to bring us all together during this time. If we open our eyes to what we can control, what we can enjoy, and what we can benefit from during this time, we may find that the list is long and lovely. I know it isn't easy. Episode 38 | Put On Some Mascara & Stop Feeling Like Crap
Are you feeling a little unlike yourself? Yeah, me too. But when I finally decided to put on mascara again I felt like a million bucks! Just like that! So now we are trapped at home indefinitely. And it's easy to slip into exercise clothes and never take them off and never shower and not think about hygiene or self-confidence or even self-respect. but guess what? It catches up with us and then we feel bad. What can you do that simple and easy that will make you feel more like yourself today? My advice is mascara and lip gloss, a cute selfie, a FaceTime call with a good friend, and reading less news. I'll be here with you a couple times a week as we get through this pandemic and until we come out the other side. And then, who knows what else is possible? Sending you love, virtual hugs, and healthy vibes always. Episode 37 | If It's The End of Days, Let's Eat Captain Crunch
Well, it's happening! Everything's being canceled, even school, and now we have our kids at home, are trying to work, and find a new "normal" in a world that is increasingly crazy. How do we stay sane? I do think maintaining a routine is super important. But also, it's vital that we release the tight reins a little bit and go easier on ourselves. Can we go easier on ourselves? Maybe break a few rules? Maybe let our kids eat sugar cereal and we sleep in while they do it? We are all going to have to find a way to make it through this because we don't know how long it's going to last. Even if it's only 5 days, it's a lot on our plate to manage fear, worry, and the unknown while we are still trying to keep people alive, earn money, and look good in our jeans. We got this, Mamas! I'm here for you and so is Captain Crunch.

Episode 35 | One Year Alcohol Free!
Well, I did it! One year ago today I sat at a beautiful dinner with my husband in Punta Cana and had my last class of white wine. I knew that it was my last, and it didn't even taste good going down because I was so ready to be done with it. I told him I didn't want to drink anymore and asked him if he could be okay with that. He said yes, of course. And we went from there. What started as an experiment has turned into one of the most joyful choices I've ever made despite the really heavy and hard bumps in the road and difficult moments to navigate. Today I celebrate having made it one year. I celebrate having prioritized myself in this way, ripping the lid off of everything I thought I knew and believed and could do in life, and creating a life more colorful and beautiful without alcohol than I could have ever imagined it could be. Thank you for celebrating with me!

Episode 34 | Midlife Awakening
MIDLIFE is not a dirty word! And it's not shameful, embarrassing, or depressing. It's a true statement of fact for those of us 40+. Why not embrace it? Even after 20 years of doing one thing and thinking I had "arrived", there was an itch inside of me telling me I had farther to go, new mountains to climb, uncomfortable changes to make and some serious soul excavation to do in order to be truly happy. How about you? This episode is for you if you're a woman of a certain age, a mom, a partner, a human who is in the middle of her life and wanting more. Wanting to shift mindset, reach goals, love life. If not now, when? Don't call it a crisis. It's an awakening! "Don't be upset about the results you didn't get from the work you haven't done."

Episode 33 | To Keep Growing
Had anyone tried unplugging 2020 and plugging it back in again? Ha! This year has been a bit of a doozy already. Maybe a lot of Mercury In Retrograde? Or maybe it's personal and not cosmic. Regardless, we've got to keep hope alive! There's always Bravo, cookies, or something to ease the pain for a moment until we realize that green vegetables make us feel better and, more importantly, we've got everything we need inside of us. There may be dark days. Weeks even. That's ok! You're not alone and it won't last. "...keep growing, silently and earnestly, through your whole development; you couldn't disturb it any more violently than by looking outside and waiting for outside answers to questions that only your innermost feeling, in your quietest hour, can perhaps answer."-RM Rilke, Letters To A Young Poet

Episode 32 | It's Like You're My Mirror
Some days are just hard and there's no way around it. A perfect storm of being exhausted, overworked, overbooked, and spiritually depleted can lead to a painful meltdown. And did for Grace. But you can come back from it, and half the battle is acknowledging that it happened. Everyone in our lives is some kind of a reflection of ourselves and who we do and don't want to be. Most powerfully, our children. They are also our teachers. And if we stop to really hear what they have to say to us about who we are, we may receive our most significant messages yet.

You know what they say: We're only as sick as our secrets. Whatever you are not acknowledging is in control of you. We all tell lies. Big ones, little ones, white ones. But WHY do we lie? Especially to ourselves? What does it say about the way we feel about ourselves and our need to meet others' expectations of us? We can't live authentically if we are perpetuating lies -- big lies. Today is an opportunity to look at the lies we tell and begin to really own them and release them in order to really live and love freely. www.patreon.com/user?u=29368430
