Becoming Her

I know you are familiar with the saying "don't compare yourself to others and it's you vs. you" But what about comparing you to a different version of you?  I am currently going through this struggle so I wanted to share how i am navigating through it  in order to come out on the other side.

Have you ever had a moment where you started strong with something and then all of a sudden, you start to lose your footing, your rhythm, or you start to doubt your progress? In this episode we talk about what could cause you to get distracted from your goals. 

Have you ever been in a situation or relationship (either friendship or romantically) where you felt like things were one sided? You find yourself constantly giving and meeting the needs of your partner or friend (sometimes before they even ask) but it seems to be coming up short when it's time for it to be reciprocated. In this episode we talk about the feeling of resentment and how to grow from it and make things better. 

You have been living in the zone of comfort for too long and feel this tug on your heart that it's time for change. But leaving what you're used to can be hard, but once you are ready, write a letter saying goodbye and start moving in the direction of your LEVEL UP.

In this episode we talk about the search for clarity. Getting some answers to questions like "what's next for me, my business, my relationships?". I then leave you with some tangible steps to help you gain clarity in your life. 

Have you ever had this thing you LOVED to do, but at the same time wondered.."Is this right, should I change things up, where is this going?" Yeah? ME TOO!!!

In this episode I talk all about taking this moment and using it as a time to pause and seek clarity.

I know when we are going through a setback, it can be difficult to dig ourselves out or not get caught up in it and allow it to take us over the deep end.  So what may be a small step, we turn into a way bigger problem and start spiraling down the rabbit hole.

On the other hand, we have this opportunity to see SETBACKS as an opportunity for a COMEBACK!! A time to learn to grow.  So in this episode I wanted to talk us through some tangible things to help us through just in case you are experiencing some setbacks.

In this episode I wanted to unpack this concept of starting BEFORE you're ready. There really is no such thing as READY! Even when you think you are ready, there are curve balls, distractions and more and there isn't a way to be ready for EVERYTHING. But there are a few things you can do to help you START before you're ready and I list a few in this episode. 

So as a child growing up I wanted all the friends and I wanted us to all be besties, all hang out, have similar likes and personalities, sleep overs, shopping spree...all the girly stuff. But it was in college where I realized that kind of life is a fairy tale. So, in this episode,  I just wanted to do a deep dive into what makes a good friend!!

In this episode I wanted to talk about confidence while in the dating scene. So, I don’t know about you, but I struggled in the dating world. I don’t mean as far as finding a date, that’s a whole struggle in and of itself, but moreseo confidence when it came to dating. So what I really want to discuss is 2-fold: confidence in my body and self AND then confidence in general while navigating the dating scene.

So, your girl is on a dating app!! I have been saying no to dating apps for years, but while my friend was in town she convinced me to give it a try. Maybe some of you single ladies can relate, but as I'm going through, looking at the potentials, there are just so many things that gave me that head tilt and just make me ask WHY!

So I thought I would share my thoughts and experiences and share some pointers. So, share with all your male friends, brothers, cousins, uncles...lets make the dating app world a better place!

It can be scary, but I promise it's FREEING.

In this episode, we are going to work through and have a conversation about what all this means and talk about some tips to help us be more confident in our voice and how to find our unapologetic self!

What were some of the highlights of last quarter?

What lessons did I learn?

What are some things I am proud of?

What can I improve on?
